24/05/2025: Sweet, small cafe outside Siena. Happened upon it leaving the chaotic, lack of tourismo parking, Siena. Had a delicious pranzo and enjoyed conversing with the lovely lady running the ristorante.

16/08/2025: We’ve been here twice, both times the food was great. The baked potatoes are different than you’d expect but in a good way. These were probably the best potatoes we’ve had this holiday. They’re a mix between fries and chips. And also ofcourse lovely staff.

Il cibo di ottima qualità e la ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata sempre molto attenta e sorridente. Un' esperienza veramente ottima. Chi passa sa Montepulciano non può non fermarsi a mangiare qui

10/08/2025: Menu che non cambia mai. Solo e sempre pici, il dolce in misera porzione viene servito in una ciotolina di solito usata per gli assaggi delle confetture ,ma quello che mi ha innervosito e' stato quando al momento del conto, pur di non farmi uno sconto di 1.70 € mi hanno dato il resto a 90€ in monetineanche di 5 centesimi Il totale era 71.70 e io ho pagato con 90€. Il menù non corrisponde a quanto viene realmente offerto, alle ore 20,00 hanno già finito tutto o lo chef ha deciso di non preparare più quanto scritto nel menù!

30/07/2025: Probamos este lugar para el almuerzo y disfrutamos IT. Tuvimos maravillosas recomendaciones sobre qué probar y disfrutar de todos ellos! Comparte platos para empezar, luego pasta tradicional y estofado de jabalí para la red. Terminamos con Helado para los niños y tiramisú - postre estilo adulto. Toda la experiencia fue encantadora, muy relajada y amable. Gracias por recibirnos! Tuvimos un paseo lento y completo de vuelta a nuestro lugar de estancia 🤭🫣 Mis fotos eran inútiles, pero el sabor de estos platos sencillos eran fabulosos!

10/10/2025: Old restaurant, delicious food, old-fashioned atmosphere. Small room, very atmospheric. We had a large group, they set up tables for us throughout the restaurant. We made a reservation. I recommend it.

08/10/2025: It closes at 4pm and they didn't want to serve us at 3:15pm because they closed the kitchen.

16/08/2025: Incredible fine dining experience. Impeccable attention to detail with the food and service. I wish I could have had 4x the fagiolini spaghetti with rosemary and bay leaf “fairy” dust. Ambiance dining amongst the 4 walls of a castle is unparalleled. Service ten stars. Wonderful final dinner to finish our time in Tuscany. Enjoy every moment created amongst the Tuscan stars.

13/07/2025: AMAZING EXPERIENCE Antonio Iacoviello was Head Chef at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura for four years, a restaurant that earned a Michelin star just a few months after opening. He's now embarked on a new gastronomic adventure at Ristorante Il Pievano, located inside Spaltenna Castle, where we dined last night. We chose the chef's freehand tasting menu, where his extensive experience and expertise shine through, offering dishes with an incredible balance of flavors. Compliments to the dining room staff for their expertise and passion. A MUST TRY

11/10/2025: We went for breakfast, the omelets were good, the atmosphere was very nice, there was a window that opened to the Tuscan view, it was very nice

08/10/2025: Giardino Bistrot was a delightful surprise! The panoramic window offered an absolutely breathtaking view—we were mesmerized! Our server provided truly wonderful, attentive service, making our family feel so welcome. Every dish we ordered was simply amazing and prepared with fresh, local ingredients. A must-visit spot for any tourist seeking a perfect meal.

18/08/2025: You can't reserve!!! But if acquaintances show up, they're made to skip the line without the slightest respect!!! Congratulations, keep it up!!!

06/10/2025: We found this restaurant entirely by chance. And what good chance that turned out to be!! Wonderful ambience, charming and attentive service, and absolutely beautiful food. Could not recommend it more highly. We are going back for dinner tonight in fact!!

21/06/2025: Because you can stop without any problems and there is an area that can be used by customers with numerous tables

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!

15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)
