The flavors are bold, genuine, and respectful of local tradition—a real delight for those who appreciate cooking done the old-fashioned way. If I had to make one small note, it would be regarding the timing: the service was a little slow, even though there weren't many people in the dining room. However, to be fair, this is often the price you pay for food that is prepared "espresso." When you choose to eat dishes cooked from scratch rather than something ready in two minutes, you have to expect a slightly longer wait than average. We stopped by chance, but we were very lucky. Everything was delicious: fried eggs with truffles, tagliatelle with white ragù and cavolo nero, fried cardinal mushrooms. A very kind woman served us.
