Excellent culinary experience, while the service and the environment can be improved... But I'm sure that with a little attention it would really become a very pleasant place.

Characteristic Tuscan restaurant, very good food, generous portions. Good service, there was only one person in the room but very attentive and fast.

We went to this restaurant last night. Friendly and helpful staff, clean, simple and well-kept place. We ate well. Satiating portions, but it would be better if they were slightly more generous.

Simple and nice place. Little wait to sit down and for the food to arrive. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent quality-price ratio. I recommend larger portions but there's nothing to complain about. See you soon.

Good food. Service is a bit slow. Check your bill - we found one wrong item. This was brought to the attention of the server and the bill was promptly reduced. Good place overall.

Un bel endroit et une bonne cuisine. Prix un peu élevés. Attention à demander si le plat a un accompagnement. Ce n'était pas le cas pour nous, il a fallu le commander en plus.

We had Tagliatelle funghi and Gnocchi with zucchini. And tiramisu as a desert. Everything was delicious, the young lady who served us was nice, helpful...we enjoyed this stop (we were hungry and tried to find a restaurant on the road) very much! Worth to stop.

04/04/2024: Good pizza, digestible dough, small and informal environment. No service, you approach the counter and take the pizza. If in summer you can sit outside with a view of the Valdichiana

Antica Osteria Il Rifugio

01/04/2024: Good food, but be careful when ordering off the menu. Giuseppe suggested a fish for two, which we imagined would have a lower value than 2 identical individual dishes (50.00 Euros), which to our surprise we were charged more (60.00 Euros). I thought it was an unethical stance.
30/03/2024: Very friendly staff and excellent food. A great place to stop for dinner if in San Gimignano or the surrounding area. Really excellent.
