16/10/2025: A beautiful hotel with 40 rooms. Our room on the first floor (thanks for fulfilling our request) was spacious with plenty of room and a small west-facing balcony. The bathroom had plenty of counter space. Everything was very clean. The staff was professional and very helpful at the reception. The hotel's value for money was good, but we found the restaurant's price to be too high. Although it has been awarded a Michelin star in recent years, the food didn't impress us. Therefore, it didn't give it full marks.

26/11/2025: Good evening, we discovered this restaurant by chance, and after the first night we returned, albeit with pleasure, the second. It's the restaurant we like: simple but superbly prepared ingredients, helpful but not invasive service. If we return to San Gimignano, this will definitely be our restaurant! We love you.

22/11/2025: Good food, but the quality-price ratio is poor. €75 per person for a set menu, and by the end you're almost still hungry, and a bit too much. Good service. Good food quality. Wrong price.

24/10/2025: Best pizza restaurant in Toscane!! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy and real Italien. We will come back here! We recommend the Diavoli and the Burrata with pesto.

18/11/2025: We found out about it through friends and...simply FANTASTIC! Clean, tidy, warm, and welcoming place. The girls serving us are FABULOUS, creating a cheerful, loving, and homey atmosphere. EXCELLENT, tasty dishes. When we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

12/11/2025: Social restaurant: helps young people with difficulties enter the workforce. For lunch, they offer a full work menu, very generous. When they make it (Tuesday and/or Thursday), they serve a thick, well-leavened, and easily digestible pizza: 3 or 4 flavors available, so you have to be satisfied and not be too demanding. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. They are attentive to lactose intolerances. They also organize special events on certain evenings. I had lunch with the family on Saturday: the menu featured a charcuterie board: excellent!!!! They also prepared lactose-free Easter dove cakes that evening. They often organize themed dinners: Irish, Indian, Mexican, and blind dinner.

11/11/2025: On Saturday, November 8, 2025, my wife and I went to see the famous Abbey of San Galgano in the province of Lucca. After having made the ritual visit, we went to this unique farmhouse a few steps from the Abbey. I spoke to a lady who I assume was the owner who also managed the cash register. I approached her and told her that there were 2 of us. She replied that I had to wait 10/15 minutes, then came back after about 15 minutes and looked at me with a confused expression. She said, "Okay, a place is free." They gave us a menu. 20 minutes passed and no waitress came over. SHAMEFUL!!! My wife gestures that we would like to order almost as if we were begging as if we were eating for free. However, we were interested in the veal steak and politely ask for a portion to share between two, but the waitress says no because they are single portions of 5/6 ounces, so we necessarily order two 5/6 ounce steaks, something an army could have eaten. Here they are, people attached to money, SHAMEFUL. We get to the bill and this time too, another odyssey. More than 10 minutes pass from when I approached the cash register, then I lean out and see the owner who was also managing the cash register, talking happily despite a waitress having approached her, telling her that there was a customer who had to pay, but she totally doesn't care. Anyway, BAD EXPERIENCE, NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! BETTER A SANDWICH THAN GOING TO IN WUEDTA TRATTORIA, RUN BY RUDE AND MONEY-FREE PEOPLE.

28/11/2025: Beautiful and stunning location, the service is fast, and the staff is very helpful, kind, and professional. The quality of the ingredients used is truly excellent, the rooms are clean and well-organized, and the location is truly excellent, right in the center. What can I say? It's a shame I only have to give it 5 stars.

11/10/2025: Very nice restaurant in a beautiful setting. Great food, service and music. We had 3 dishes - Bottoni with Orange Duck, Gnudi with Ricotta and Spinach in sage and Truffle Sauce and Gnocchi in tomato and Basil Sauce and Ricotta - all yummy!!!! The only downside is the location, as it’s a rather long walk from the free parking lot outside the Centro Storico and back. If you plan on visiting the Centro Storico anyway (which you should, as it’s beautiful), do yourselves a favor and don’t skip this restaurant!

30/11/2025: We visited Valliano for a week in 1990. My twin brother and I ate four portions of pici pasta each day for lunch. These pasta dishes remain an important part of our lives to this day. The owner asked us to let her know so she could prepare more pici. Thanks for the pici! 😋😃🤗🍝

23/10/2025: This pizza was sooooo good. The staff was friendly and the draft beer was ice cold. My husband had the sausage and mushroom and artichoke with pecorino and mozzarella and LOVED it. I had the white pizza with mozzarella, basil and tomato, and it was good, but white pizza in Italy just means olive oil as a base and I didn’t know that so I was a little disappointed (which is my fault) However the freshness of the ingredients without sauce allowed everything to shine through, so I was ultimately very satisfied. The crust was amazing and the tomatoes were probably the freshest tasting I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend this place.
