02/10/2025: We went here for dinner because we were staying at a hotel across the street and were enticed by the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the evening was extremely disappointing. The ambiance played a major role in this. It's not cozy at all; it feels more like you're sitting in a cafeteria. It's also very loud when the tables are full. The staff weren't particularly enthusiastic either. The only positive thing: the prices are great. Pizza was okay; I've had better. On top of that, I had stomach problems the next morning. I absolutely can't recommend it.

05/01/2025: Simple place with a quiet atmosphere, a brick vaulted environment with glimpses of Tuscan tradition combined with contemporary works of art. It offers drinks, croissants, cutting boards and a wide variety of books, board games and pastimes. Hot chocolate from a machine with cream spray €3.50 Modest prices for being in the main street of the historic center of the village. Reachable from the main car park via the public lift located behind the keep and town hall, passing through a suggestive walkway and a very well-kept modern square.

06/10/2024: El mejor bar por lejos y el personal es tremendo Los lugareños son muy amables y le dan la bienvenida. Todo sucede en el bar desde la mañana hasta la noche, un verdadero centro local y no todo sobre el alcohol! Los niños locales vienen y compran sus dulces y helados, etc. Un verdadero placer. Fabuloso café y pasteles por la mañana y bocadillos de pizza, etc. durante el día Gran parada para ciclistas! Nos quedamos y nos sentimos parte.

16/10/2025: So glad we stopped here-- we were in search of good vegetable dishes and found it here! The restaurant was closing for lunch but were kind enough to seat us and we ate the best meal of pasta and vegetable dishes. We only wished we were staying closer and could return.

04/09/2025: Recommended by locals, I had a really good meal at this restaurant. The menu features the right selection of traditional Sienese dishes. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The Picio is really well-made. The portions are just right, not too large. The price for a glass of wine, water, cover charge, Picio all'aglione, a fried vegetable, and the meal is €29. Very fair these days. Thanks for a lovely evening.

24/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant because we were staying at the hotel. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly, polite, and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were fair. Recommended!

09/12/2025: While strolling through Pienza, after exploring its charming narrow streets on foot, we came across La Terrazza. We went in and were immediately greeted with friendliness and kindness. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated at a table in the garden, which quickly filled with more people. For starters, we had slices of various toasted breads, accompanied by spectacular olive oil. For lunch, we ordered a mix of short pastas with pecorino and pesto and a Pici with zucchini. To accompany it, we had the Nobile di Montepulciano red wine. Cantucci con Vin Santo for dessert and an espresso to finish perfectly. We loved our lunch, under that parasol, in that beautiful garden, in the Pienza of dreams. Impeccable service, courteous attention, we highly recommend it.

25/08/2025: The food was excellent, with delicious cold cuts and ciaccina. The maltagliati with white sauce was also very good. The outdoor setting was relaxing and peaceful. The only downside was that the wine arrived already opened, but otherwise I recommend it.

Excellent food, with attention to detail and top-quality ingredients. Mrs. Francoise is always friendly and prepares unmissable desserts.

05/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene: si poteva apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti e la cura nel prepararli; le porzioni giuste e calibrate. Consigliati i pici! Purtroppo non possiamo dare cinque stelle a causa della freddezza (o maleducazione) con cui siamo stati accolti e che ha contraddistinto il servizio di tutta la serata. Se il cibo ci avrebbe spinto a ritornare e consigliare, il servizio non ce lo farà fare. Peccato

10/10/2025: Ristorante da Gino is a historic and famous restaurant in the area, a must-try for lovers of Umbrian-Tuscan cuisine, especially lake fish dishes. The restaurant is located on the beach of Lake Chiusi. The service is excellent and professional. The food is high-quality and unpretentious. The only small flaw is the decor, but the retro atmosphere is still in keeping with the setting.
