03/11/2024: Place in a quiet and cozy location just outside the main squares. Inside it appears a little confusing, with a modern, almost circus-like style, with combinations of historic wooden furniture and bright curtains. Overall you can see the desire to be elegant, I would aim for that. As a first course, two tagliatelle with mushrooms and saffron, good, slightly watery and not too tasty. Maybe I would use some porcini mushrooms and review the balance between the flavors to give the dish a little boost. Like a second Florentine steak, matured for 70 days, perfectly cooked: rare but not cold. Tasty and tender, slightly orange fat, really good. Baked potatoes truly to remember, light and fragrant, not heavy, crunchy. The manager is a truly capable and attentive person who transmits passion. Service of the Fiorentina cut at the table performed very well. In essence, a place with great potential, if you fix something it can be at the top.

31/10/2024: Absolutely fantastic food, great service. If I didn't know it was a vegan restaurant, it would be hard for me to tell by eating the dessert. Nice music in the background. If you're in the area, you have to go there!

27/10/2024: We had lunch in this place on the recommendation of acquaintances, the ravioli and desserts were excellent... I recommend it especially to non-vegans who are always a little skeptical towards plant-based cuisine... Compliments to the chef!

21/11/2024: Characteristic inn located outside Montalcino. External veranda and tables outside. Wide open spaces for children. Limited places, reservations recommended. Excellent food, prepared with care and genuine products. Menu with wide choices. Excellent wine, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Recommended if you want to try something different from the usual restaurant.

05/11/2024: Fantastic venue and delicious food. Kindness and professionalism. Definitely worth trying. The first with lentils and chestnuts was pure magic!

26/11/2024: Tanta sostanza dietro ad auna forma ineccepibile. Elegante e raffinato negli ambienti e negli elementi di arredo, un perfetto connubio tra il "minimal" e lo "chic", in ogni caso ELEGANTE. Sala e cucina in perfetta sintonia. Un sommelier estremamente capace, preparato, disponibile ed affabile sa ben consigliare ed abbinare etichette di una cantina davvero molto ben strutturata. La lista vini denota attenzione, sapienza e gusto. Dalla cucina portate con un equilibrio ineccepibile. Sapidità, cottura, tecnica...una momento di alto godimento per il palato. Materia prima a Km zero, rispetto della tradizione e home made (pane e pasta) come regola aurea. Complimenti e bravissimi TUTTI!!!

17/11/2024: Locale accogliente e molto curato I piatti sono magistralmente preparati con materie di prima scelta Degni di particolare nota il prosciutto le paste e in particolare i ravioli i pici e i maltagliati Anche i secondi e i contorni davvero buoni Noi abbiamo assaggiato peposo anatra e lombo di maiale di cinta chips e cime di rapa I dolci tutti eccellenti Personale gentilissimo Dog friendly

28/08/2024: Just delicious food. The beef steak tagliata was amazing, beautifully seasoned with an explosion of flavor. My first wine from Montepulciano was super delicious, San Salvaggio. Potatoes with delicious rosemary. You can simply taste the authenticity from the region. Great staff and service! Only recommended. Grazie Ragazzi

22/08/2024: Pranzato all'esterno con stupenda vista su piazza grande, menù completo ma non esagerato, ottima qualità delle portate , disponibile e professionale il personale ..buonissimi i Pici egli affettati di Cinta Senese. Prezzi molto onesti .

01/12/2024: Centro storico di Chiusi, è l’ora di pranzo di una fredda domenica di inizio dicembre. Non abbiamo prenotato, ma i proprietari (marito e moglie) si danno da fare per trovare un tavolo per due. Scelta ottima, a giudicare da quello che abbiamo provato (poche cose ma buone e preparate con cura): cacio e pere, pici all’aglione, zuppa di zucca e farro, e spinaci ripassati in padella insaporiti dall’aglione della Valdichiana. Porzioni giuste per appetiti normali, servizio gentile, prezzi in linea con la qualità dei piatti. Torneremo con più tempo a disposizione per provare altre proposte del menù.

21/11/2024: A unique experience among the many traditional Italian restaurants, all with good food. They have the best [not traditional Tuscan] bread and they serve it with the best balsamic vinegar we've had in any restaurant ANYWHERE. We've never had a dish we didn't like. Visit with no risk of disappointment. Update one year later: we still come often, but I admit that we often order our same favorite items. Last night changed our future behavior. We were in a mood for something different. We still ordered our standard pasta dish: Pici with Tuscan beef ragu, but then we branched out into the unknown. We started with a baked eggplant with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was life changing. This 5 euro appetizer was the best vegetable dish either of us have ever tasted. I Will try my best to recreate it, and our host was open about some of the critical secrets. We followed with slow roasted pork neck in a wonderful sauce with mashed potatoes and fennel. Every bit as good as the eggplant, but not so unique.

17/10/2024: When we manage to spend a few days relaxing in Sarteano, the Taverna di Merlino has become the obligatory stop for dinner. The dishes are all delicious, everything homemade, including bread (a real delicacy). The kindness and professionalism of the owners are the icing on the cake. Well done guys, the five stars are well deserved.

14/08/2024: Excellent restaurant with excellent meat dishes. We had, among other things, the Fiorentina T bone. Very well prepared. Other meat dishes were also very good. We can recommend this restaurant to everyone. The service was also very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was also great, dining in the garden of the restaurant.

01/09/2024: Siamo stati un sabato sera con mio marito e i miei due figli piccoli. Siamo stati accolti molto cordialmente, la cameriera è sempre stata disponibile e con il sorriso. Per iniziare abbiamo ordinato due antipasti, entrambi buonissimi, l attesa è stata minima. Abbiamo proseguito con un primo e un secondo, gli gnocchi ripieni di gorgonzola erano eccezionali. Che dire..tutto perfetto..un grandissimo in bocca la lupo a questi ragazzi perché se lo meritano!

29/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati per pranzo in questo Bistrò, il cibo proposto era molto allettante, ma essendo un pranzo veloce e una giornata molto calda abbiamo optato per due antipasti: un gazpacho di melone e dei fegatini con pan brioche. Spettacolari entrambi preparati con cura e per nulla banali. Servizio molto gentile e accurato.

11/12/2024: Locale favoloso affacciato sulle colline di San Giminiano! Personale gentilissimo, preparato, e accogliente. Menù ottimo così come anche la carta dei vini. Abbiamo passato un meraviglioso pranzo domenicale! Consigliatissimo, come sentirsi a casa!

10/12/2024: Massimo è un Signor Ristoratore, la gentile Andrea porta i piatti in tavola con professionalità ma anche con un sorriso e Anna (spero di non ricordare male il nome) è una cuoca insuperabile. Non dimenticherò questo compleanno: non solo per la buona cucina i buoni vini, la location e la mis en place di gran classe, ma per il calore umano che mi ha reso felice. È stato bello portare a casa i vini e l'olio e il ricordo di San Gimignano.

04/08/2024: Excellent and genuine Tuscany cuisine. Probably the best address of Montepulciano. Great wine list. Very professional service. I returned twice over two days.
