The chef's skill in the kitchen is truly impressive, the service professional and attentive, and the wine list is very interesting, often with below-average markups. I will definitely be back; it's worth the trip!

25/01/2026: A casual yet tasteful location with a typical Tuscan feel, a bit hidden, with some missing signage. Fast and attentive service. Wide selection of wines. The food is rustic yet true to tradition, good, with portions just the right size. The price is proportionate to the quality of the food. I recommend it, definitely worth a try, and we'll definitely be back.

22/10/2025: One afternoon, while leaving Marina di Campo airport for Sant'Ilario, I stumbled upon this lovely place—actually, two places to eat, and one to drink. We stopped to try their pinsa. I ordered five strips, two with potatoes and the others with vegetables. As I tasted them, I noticed that the pasta was good and the ingredients were excellent, so everything was fine, except for the portions, which are a bit small for the price—€27 for five strips—and lack a good quality-price ratio. I'm not the only one to notice this; if a pan that would normally yield eight strips were to yield seven, each strip would be a centimeter wider, which at a glance helps to better understand the quantity. In any case, you can sense their commitment to using quality ingredients and their commitment to their customers.

06/01/2026: I'll tell you about my experience: I wanted to drink a good wine. I was looking for something specific, from a specific winery. I discovered from the winery that they were the only ones offering their own labels. Excellent! As a wine enthusiast first and then for work, I packed up and went. I entered a well-kept establishment and was immediately greeted with kindness and professionalism. In less than five minutes, thanks to the information I received from the owner's son, I found and chose what I was looking for. I sat down, they opened the wine, and offered me a snack to accompany it. Everything was perfect. Nothing to add. I haven't tried the food, so I can't tell you anything about it. But I can say with certainty that I would make the trip a thousand times over. Why? A family-run business that exudes kindness, passion, and professionalism. Super interesting wine selection, not the usual...informal, but attentive atmosphere. WELL DONE!!

03/01/2026: A simply fantastic experience at Osteria Pizzeria Melograno. From the first moment, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism: genuine hospitality that immediately makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is refined, pleasant, and authentic, perfect for enjoying cuisine that exudes tradition and quality. The dishes are a veritable triumph of flavors, prepared with excellent ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Special mention goes to the delicious and irresistible crouton with lard cream, the tender and flavorful wild boar, the extraordinarily balanced Etruscan rabbit, and the Maremma-style tortelli with ragù, simply memorable. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take photos: the dishes were so inviting that we jumped right in, forgoing the idea of ​​documenting the meticulous plating. But no big deal: everything, absolutely everything, was delicious. A place I highly recommend and will definitely return to.
