I returned after several years, and it's no longer the restaurant it once was under the previous ownership.
The dishes were rushed, the service was poor, and the prices were high.
It's a real shame, and it shows in the fewer customers...
There are better restaurants in the country!

08/06/2026: Congratulations to Luvi, our waitress! Besides being incredibly professional, she was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Being in the business, we pay particular attention to the quality of our service and dishes, and here we were truly impressed.
We ate one of the most tender octopus we've ever tasted, followed by four seafood entrees, each one better than the last. Everything was truly excellent!
We highly recommend this restaurant and thank Luvi again for her helpfulness and friendliness. If you stop by La Cantina di Marciana Marina, ask for her: she'll make your experience even more enjoyable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

26/07/2026: Without a doubt, the best restaurant we ate at during our vacation. The staff were young and friendly, the fish was fresh, and it was located in a charming village square.
We enjoyed the "zuppa imperiale" (imperial soup) and the grilled fish, expertly explained by the restaurant owner. Generous portions and more than fair prices! Everything was perfect! Thank you for your hospitality!

07/08/2026: When you eat at Rendez-Vous, you know you'll eat well; not because it's renowned or because everyone talks about it, but because the food is truly good. The menu undergoes small changes from year to year, but the signature dish is the grilled fish. A winning bet every time. The original recipe that makes it so delicious is unknown, but perhaps it's the secret itself that makes it so good. The service is impeccable; your glass is never empty, and the wait between courses is long enough for a chat with your fellow diners. And then... shall we talk about the sunset?

12/08/2026: We really enjoyed going here; we visited several times during our holiday and had a fantastic time every time. The pizzas are delicious and very reasonably priced for a holiday destination, without compromising on quality. We'll definitely be back on our next holiday!

13/08/2026: An excellent restaurant with tables practically on the waterfront. The restaurant overlooks the beach on the west side of the harbor. The dishes are primarily seafood, but there are also some meat specialties. Excellent ingredients and top-quality preparations. Traditional dishes and recipes revisited with a modern twist. Fast and professional service. Good wine list. Prices are medium to high. Every time we return, it's always a pleasant experience.

31/07/2026: It's a shame, after years of having aperitifs in this place, they've now gone into tourist-plundering mode. It's true that their spritzes cost 7 euros, but it's also true that it's the worst in all of Marciana Marina. In fact, practically everything remained there in the micro glass in which they served it to me. Moreover, until a month ago they used a different glass and the taste was definitely better.
28/07/2026: Breakfast in Marciana Marina... If it's not here, it's not breakfast!

05/10/2025: Great place for an aperitif! Six of us went on a Friday evening in October and were greeted by friendly, competent staff who took our order and brought our drinks outside where we were comfortably seated on the sofas in the lovely square, surrounded by trees. The setting is beautiful, comfortable and classy. There's a good selection of drinks and you can help yourself to whatever you fancy from the buffet. At around € 6 per person for food and drink it's excellent value for money.Totally recommend!

13/08/2026: We stopped at this place by chance tonight, and despite the wait, they served us impeccably. The food was plentiful and, above all, delicious! At one point, the power went out, which made the evening even more unique and romantic. They quickly fixed it. The bill? Average...
PS. I'm the one who ordered the last bottle of red wine! We'll be back before August 18th!

The waitress was rude and the portions were so short, it was considered childish... on a diet.
Their excuse was that you don't come to a restaurant to gorge yourself, and I might add: not even to give away money.
Never again!

14/06/2025: Pranzare all'ombra degli alberi nella piazza centrale di Marciana marina merita! Atmosfera conviviale e rilassante. Ottima la cucina e il rapporto qualità prezzo. Eccellente il dolce della casa.
30/05/2025: Il locale è stata una piacevole scoperta. Personale cortese , professionale, attento ad ogni nostra esigenza e cibo sensazionale. Non faccio spesso recensioni ma Vizio Antico merita veramente più di 5 stelle. Siamo stati qui diverse volte , abbiamo mangiato ogni primo presente nel menù (eravamo in 6) e ordinato diversi tipi di schiaccine che secondo noi sono le migliori sull'isola. Ci porteremo a casa un bellissimo ricordo di questo locale, peccato per la distanza (Roma<->Elba non si può fare tutti i giorni!) , 5stelle più che meritate!
