09/03/2024: PRO: Resort immersed in a well-kept pine forest (with other types of plants), where you sometimes come across some squirrels. Silent. Each room/villa is a stone's throw from the beach, which can be accessed directly via several small paths. Deckchairs and umbrellas at a good distance from each other. CONS: Small rooms, which would need to redo part of the wardrobes and bathrooms. It would be good if the food area were divided again between the new building in the pine forest and the "old" room: ok for lunch, but I preferred dinner and breakfast in the restaurant room (and veranda), where they were before. In the afternoon at least one place in the square should remain open. The staff in the dining room were friendly, but, apart from a few, poorly trained. I come back every few years, because it's my favorite place, but the last time made me miss the "old" Riva a little. There is a sort of carelessness and sloppiness, here. I hope they bring it back to being (even in its "soul") the resort that has always distinguished it.

17/01/2024: in general the Etruscan Riviera is always a very beautiful area to visit on various occasions and to spend several days of holiday on this sea coast there are a bit of everything of all kinds of tourist attractions and also much more in this whole stretch of beach . and in the vicinity the nature is very varied you can find the hills the sea and the Tuscan region is also rich in beautiful mountains and lots of natural nature and the people who frequent these places respect the best to keep these wonderful places always respectable with the adequate landscape knowledge. and with the blue of the sky that combines and reflects on the water, a blue water is formed that combines a heavenly blue and is a wonderful holiday.

The less star in the food rating is due to the fact that I personally hate having salmon in a seafood starter: what does it have to do with the Mediterranean? But that's my personal opinion. I was with my wife and two grandchildren who were treated with attention and kindness. Cost limited to 20 euros each.

28/08/2023: Siamo stati sulla spiaggia di Rimigliano, scegliendo un punto dove ci fosse un "ristoro" poiché era la prima volta Ecco... definire Lago Verde un ristoro è sicuramente riduttivo: ampia offerta di tavoli sotto la pineta, ambiente stile "Giamaica", ampia scelta di piatti, dai primi alle insalatone ai panini. Abbiamo mangiato il panino di pane nero con il polpo, burrata e pomodorini confit, prezzo onesto, bontà infinita; servizio ottimo, anzi, quando abbiamo scelto infinite bottigliette di acqua, il cassiere stesso ci ha consigliato di risparmiare prendendo le bottiglie più grandi... dettaglio che fa la differenza.

19/03/2024: I, my partner and Massimo spent a wonderful weekend in this farmhouse, the staff is super welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Taking a few steps in the olive grove adjacent to the structure you can relax on a giant bench with a beautiful sea view. The room was fabulous and very warm despite the season. Massimo was treated like a king and he really misses the sea of ​​San Vincenzo and was very surprised when he saw the hydromassage tub in the room!!! We hope to return soon! Thank you!

Family welcome, extreme availability, we felt pampered from start to finish. Spacious rooms tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Mrs. Beatrice is a beautiful person and knows how to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!!!

09/10/2023: Tornati al quarto cielo ne abbiamo apprezzato la esperta cucina di pesce gustosa e ben fatta, la vista sul mare e la cortesia del personale. Buona scelta e prezzi mai esosi, un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo. E consentitemi, un piatto di abbondanti cremose tagliatelle con mezzo astice che mi ha fatto tornare gli occhi di un adolescente la prima volta ;)

03/10/2023: Frequentiamo San Vincenzo da oltre 30 anni, ma non sempre raggiungiamo la zona nord detta "La Conchiglia" e se andiamo al ristorante utilizziamo uno dei 2 prospicenti la spiaggia. Non ci eravamo accorti di questo ristorante che è all'attico dell'Hotel *** Villa Marcella. Lo si raggiunge da un ascensore esterno all'ingresso dell'Hotel. Potete vedere la terrazza del ristorante dalle foto presenti sul sito. Il personale è molto gentile e professionale. Il menù si compone di piatti di Mare e di Terra con oltre i piatti del giorno. Non c'è grandissima scelta ma questo lo ritengo un fattore positivo. I piatti ( anche vedendo quello che arrivava ai commensali) sono abbondanti e ben curati anche da un punto di vista estetico (potete controllare le foto di altri clienti). Diversamente da quanto di solito avviene nel Livornese, l'uso del pomodoro è minimo. Questo aiuta a sentire il sapore del pesce. Quanto abbiamo scelto noi si è rivelato eccellente. Ravioli con pasta al nero di seppia e misto pesce con pomodorini appena saltati e spaghetto di mare in bianco. Grigliata ottima e abbondante. Un ulteriore ottima sorpresa il modico ricarico sui vini con buona scelta anche fuori Toscana. Se devo trovare una pecca, le verdure grigliate un po' insipide e poco cotte (Il pomodoro per grigliarlo va schiacciato per fare uscire un po' dell'acqua e le zucchine vanno tagliate di spessore maggiore di quanto fatto....). Non abbiamo assaggiato i dolci e quindi non posso giudicare se non da quanto visto sugli altri tavoli ed era un bel guardare. La bella giornata e una leggera brezza che veniva dal mare, mi fa consigliare questo posto a tutti quelli che vogliono fare una deviazione su San Vincenzo. A proposito: controllate anche The Fork. Con lo sconto diventa anche eccezionale.
