12/04/2026: A lovely place with canalside dining options, excellent food. Prompt service and very friendly staff. The bill was also fair, and for the quality of the dinner, it's reasonably priced.

12/04/2026: On Easter Sunday we stopped in Livorno with the idea of eating cacciucco. As we walked, I was drawn to this charming little restaurant overlooking the water. We went in and sat inside, but the place was packed. The atmosphere was beautiful, with attention to detail, just like the exterior. The dishes were excellent and of high quality! They offered us a delicious tomato soup entree! My caciucco was so special that I would have liked an extra slice of bread inside! Let's say a little more! The octopus melted in my mouth... truly delicious! My companion had the seafood carbonara and the fried fish, both delicious! A sgroppino to end a wonderful Easter! Excellent service.

07/04/2026: An excellent restaurant where you can enjoy seafood delicacies. The raw shellfish, oysters, salmon, tuna, and much, much more are exceptional. The first courses are excellent, but the caciucco is unbeatable...it's spectacular! The wine list is extensive, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

11/04/2026: For me the best Pizza in Cecina. I am sure that you can't found a better one. The cashier was so friendly and spoke good English. I don't have any photos because it was so delicious and i just ate it :). The prices were ideal for a pizza.

06/04/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance, but it was a real discovery! The atmosphere is very nice, rustic, and the food is truly delicious. It's a small restaurant with not many tables, but it's very charming and clean. There are many wines on display! It's like being in a cellar!
The steak was incredibly tender and delicious!!! They make their own pastries...
...there's one thing that's a bit limiting, in my opinion...the kitchen closes at 2:00 PM!!! Given today's busy schedule, I'd recommend staying a bit longer...

14/03/2026: Fantastic concept! There's no menu, but rather a seven-course "surprise menu." The owner goes to the market every morning and creates the evening's menu based on what's available. The fish is therefore always served absolutely fresh. We ate there twice during our stay and each time had a completely different menu.
Since not everyone can manage seven courses, you're asked before each course whether you'd like to continue or skip it. The bill is then adjusted accordingly. A brilliant idea!
The owners were very warm and attentive. The owner himself served some of the courses and even showed us photos of the fish.
We'll definitely eat here again on our next visit! 😀

02/12/2025: Excellent quality gelato. The flavor is exceptional, the best I've ever had. Flavors vary seasonally. Very welcoming and courteous staff. Unfortunately, there aren't any tables inside—there wouldn't be enough space—but on a bitterly cold day, we were welcome to eat gelato standing inside.

I've been frequenting this restaurant in Livorno for a while, and it's become a go-to place for seafood. The quality is truly excellent, and considering the prices, I think it's unbeatable value.
The menu offers a huge variety of both first and second courses, all carefully crafted and always fresh. Don't miss the appetizer: six courses, which vary based on the day's availability, always a pleasant surprise.
An added bonus is Davide, the owner: kind, eccentric, a true Livorno native, always with a smile and a quick wit, capable of making you feel at home.
My family and I can't live without it anymore, and we return at least once a month.
I highly recommend booking well in advance, especially on weekends.

12/04/2026: I found myself alone in Piombino for work and, intrigued by the reviews, I decided to dine at Taverna dei Boncompagni.
The quality of the food (from appetizer to dessert) and the service were superb.
The skate and the dry-aged snapper took me back to Japan, the risotto delicious, the yuzu dessert a refreshing finish to cleanse the palate.
Simone was a unique host, demonstrating great hospitality and an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients and wines.
The #1 restaurant in the area, I recommend everyone to try it!

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.
