The food was incredibly tasty, the sauce was divine – they really cook honestly there, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

25/10/2025: I think this is the first time I've written a bad review. Maybe it's obvious I'm a tourist, but being treated like this was truly disappointing. Instead of a regular menu, we were given a few loose, stapled sheets of paper with only a very small selection of dishes. I politely declined the offered wine, but it was poured without being asked. And later, it appeared on the bill as a matter of course. The meal itself was fine – our child even had simple pasta with tomato sauce, which was nice. However, that doesn't change the fact that local guests who arrived after us received significantly more attentive and friendly service. That was a shame and seriously spoiled the overall impression. I found the value for money particularly disappointing: For what was offered, the prices were very high – in some cases, even higher than in some Michelin-starred restaurants.

15/09/2025: If you're looking for simplicity, good value, and above all, kindness, then this is the place for you. I found it by chance for a short cycling holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is nestled in a charming inland village, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean (if mine had a balcony, it would have been better). Downstairs is the L'Ottavo restaurant, where even on busy days they always found me a table and where I always ate very well! Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy of Giada and all the staff.

29/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance while looking for a parking spot, and I have to say it was a lovely discovery. They served us a cacciucco that I'd call extraordinary, both in quality and quantity, accompanied by a red wine recommended by a friendly, perhaps slightly over-tattooed, waiter. Prices were reasonable, considering the excellent service and high-quality food. I recommend it.

22/09/2025: Welcoming place, friendly waiter, albeit a little confused. Good food, fair prices. The only shame was that the Meringue cake was brought to us frozen. Otherwise, I was happy.

A round of applause also goes to the wait staff—professional, kind, and always smiling. They made us feel pampered from start to finish, with precise but never intrusive service. 01/10/2025: We found this pizzeria online while looking for gluten-free pizzas. The food was fantastic! I've never eaten such good gluten-free pizza! The crust was thin and crispy, simply perfect! I was a bit overwhelmed by the pizza selection; there were some unusual combinations and no familiar "pizza names" to be found. The waitress spoke English and helped us choose. I would go to Piombino again just for this pizzeria.

08/10/2025: The restaurant is located on a fabulous viewpoint. We were served very well. We had booked with The Fork. I had read some interesting reviews, and for that reason, I booked. Unfortunately, the food, at least for the two starters, was more like a diner, while the platter was worth it.

25/09/2025: Beautifully situated restaurant, from your table you have a magnificent view over the valley to the sea. The food was delicious. We had typical regional appetizers, salami, cheese, ham, and more, lasagna with fresh asparagus, homemade pasta with ragù (braised for 5 hours), and regional wine. We visited the restaurant a second time, and this time we were delighted by the wine and the food. We had steak tartare, 12-hour-cooked pork, a pasta dish, and ricotta and spinach dumplings with fresh truffles.
