08/01/2025: I came in January. First of all, all the staff members are very kind and can speak English. He explained the menu in detail and ordered all the recommended items. The appetizers were tuna bruschetta, mushroom and white fish mille-feuille, teriyaki octopus with mayo, spaghetti with mussels, and thick pasta with ragu, all of which brought out the flavors of the ingredients very well and were very satisfying.

01/01/2025: It was Dec 27th, so not so much fresh fish to buy at the market, but dinner was great. I place I will suggest to everyone having time in Leghorn.

05/01/2025: Very very satisfied! We ate octopus carpaccio (excellent!), spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with lupins, both very good and cod skewer on potato cream (also very good). 26/10/2024: I'm sorry dear Mr. Angelo, but this time it was a real disappointment... I have come several times during my holidays on Elba for 15 years now, on the evening of August 15th, 5 of us spent 330.00 euros for three VEGETABLE appetizers, two sliced ​​meats, a squid, two fish (them alone cost almost 140.00 euros...) a bottle of "cheaper" wine and four coffees... a real exaggeration, there are certainly locations much more suggestive, on the sea, with excellent cuisine and lower prices... it pains me to say it but it was my last time at Pilade. Good continuation.

There is no possibility of finding a flaw, everything is taken care of in every detail. The only bad thing is when you leave because it's a place that takes your heart away. Truly compliments to all the staff, to the guys at the restaurant, to Irene and Alice at the reception, to the girls at the spa and above all to Giulia for her professionalism and skill in the massage. 06/03/2025: Very clean and well kept but very aseptic restaurant, it almost looks like a modern hospital. Perfect table linen and impeccable cutlery. Nice and seasoned pizzas which however did not meet my taste. Friendly and helpful staff.

08/11/2024: The town of Capoliveri is simply fantastic. The small old town on a small mountain simply has a great atmosphere. There are also small delicacies. Including these little sandwiches at La Stregatta. In the side street to the main square there is a little girl who is both a small boutique and also sells these delicious sandwiches. The owner is super nice. It has an unforgettable flair.

24/09/2024: Siamo tornati quest'anno a mangiare la puccia dopo aver scoperto per caso questo locale lo scorso anno. Sempre deliziosa, personale gentile e materie prime di ottima qualità. All'interno anche un piccolo negozio di abbigliamento sempre gestito da loro. Merita sicuramente una sosta.

19/10/2024: Siamo arrivati per caso. Accoglienza top.La pizza davvero molto buona. Servizio eccellente. Prezzi un po' alti. Ma è un problema di tanti posti turistici sull'isola.

15/10/2024: Great place at sunset magical as the sun sets under the pine trees. Staff friendly, eat very good. The pizza still stood out, but the tuna carpaccio was very good. The Fritto Misto is also freshly fried in good fat. Light open wine from the island. I'll be back 👍🏼 The quality was high again on the next visit; ten of us were all very satisfied and full.

24/11/2024: Unbeatable seafood paccheri.... After those no restaurant is more up to par. Very nice and helpful welcome. Impeccable service, the choice of glass was anticipated with the tasting of 3 local wines. Very honest price, less than we expected!!! We will definitely return!

Ottimi i gamberi rossi di Mazara sulla gelatina di gazpacho e il baccala' in tempura; gradevoli i gamberoni lardellati sulla crema di ceci e lenticchie. Superlativi i cannoli ai carciofi con pecorino erborinato e non da meno il risotto con aglio nero. Adeguata la scelta dei vini con occhio di riguardo alle bollicine italiane e francesi

If you are here you can't help but try it... ah, it was also recommended to us (by another restaurant) for its carbonara... actually the cacio e pepe was excellent, true Romans on a top island
