10/10/2025: Had the tasting menu on a family trip to Livorno and it was a highlight of our holiday.
The food was all fantastic, each plate was something quite different but all delicious.
Service was also brilliant, took the time to explain each dish and the wine it was paired with in English which we really appreciated!
Really nice atmosphere too, super chilled and nice decor and bits to look at.
Overall 10/10, would definitely recommend!

20/10/2025: Talk about landing on your feet! The fish is incredibly fresh and cooked with originality. The owners are friendly and approachable! The quality is evident, and mopping up the bread is a must. Everything is delicious.

The cuisine combines tradition with a touch of innovation, a winning combination that ensures even the most demanding customers are satisfied. The dishes come out of the kitchen without long waits, and in terms of quality, they deserve top marks. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional, without ever being a burden to the customers. Highly recommended.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.
06/10/2025: A nice place and excellent service, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
The appetizers were made with good ingredients but presented in a sparse and incomplete way, the first courses were absolutely bland, and the desserts were barely adequate. However, the "Spiedone" (skewer) was a positive choice, as it was truly delicious.
For three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two side dishes (good), three desserts, half a liter of house wine, and three coffees, we spent €147.
Despite the general increase in restaurant prices, you can eat much better for less.

29/11/2025: Barracuda is Barracuda!! It's not a newly discovered America, but rather an established old Europe, just as Barracuda offers well-known traditions but also a cuisine attentive to innovation.
A wide selection of wines with a focus on local products and producers, while the meat is carefully selected from Spain, Poland, and elsewhere...but always with the owner's wisdom when it comes to local or regional produce. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a French brasserie with its Art Deco decor, and the service is meticulously crafted yet simple, making those who dine at Barracuda feel right at home. Sara's carbonara is a must-try.
12/10/2025: I stood stunned before this shop located in the renowned town of Marina di Cecina.
During the table reservation process, the presence of pizza was emphasized, complete with the phrase: "You know that the kitchen doesn't just make pizza."
Reassured, I then went to the restaurant, intending to feast on a delicious and long-awaited pizza.
But my dream was dashed: despite the promises over the phone and its clear presence on the menu, pizza was inexplicably absent.
Resigned, I then shifted my focus to a hamburger... which, however, proved to be no hamburger:
Why the hell do you make focaccia and not pizza?

Masterfully cooked by Valerio and his team.
The menu is truly Michelin-star quality. Super fresh ingredients, some of which are home-grown.
This restaurant is THE insider tip in Tuscany.
I cook well myself, but Valerio (the chef), you are my absolute hero 🦸♂️ another unforgettable dinner.

Beautifully decorated, super welcoming, and the staff are always present but not intrusive—that's not easy!
The dishes are delicious and the portions are generous!!
The mussels are delicious, as are the tagliolini.
The desserts are excellent.
It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants on Elba.
Highly recommended.
03/10/2025: It was a pleasure to dine at La Cantina several times during our stay on the island.
Michele and the wait staff were very hospitable and professional.
The atmosphere was beautiful, with attention to detail.
Chef Katia will surprise you with delicious seafood dishes such as linguine with fresh tuna, shrimp, and asparagus, fried seafood, and radicchio roulade with shrimp filling. From spring to September, you must try her fantastic robiola cake. From October onward, the menu changes, adding specialty sandwiches (including octopus), piadinas, and craft beers, for a pleasant evening with friends.
Excellent and extensive selection of local and international wines.
Absolutely worth a try.

28/11/2025: A truly interesting restaurant, perfect service, and a quaint interior. The staff was helpful and immediately made us feel at ease. We had a baby, and they provided everything we needed for him, from seating with a high chair to cutting his own pasta and serving it first. Prices are in line with the area, and the meat is very good; if it isn't cooked to your liking, they'll take it back to the kitchen to re-cook it to your liking.
