While vacationing in Cecina, this restaurant was recommended to us by locals. They promised us fresh seafood and homemade cuisine, and that's exactly what we got! The hand-written menu features a wide variety of first courses, including seafood, at very reasonable prices. The fried calamari and zucchini flowers were sublime! The owner warned us that the wait for the fried food would be slightly longer than usual because they still fry it in small portions, just like at home! Generous portions! The atmosphere was simple; we dined in the internal courtyard. We'll be back and have already recommended it to several friends.

We like the atmosphere. Very friendly, and the food is good and fast. Try the roast beef, delicious, and also the parmigiana and... everything else.

The service was far too rushed; we barely had time to sit down and start reading the menu before a waitress came to ask if we'd already decided, while I still had the menu in my hand and was reading it aloud. The menu was handwritten in rather questionable handwriting and without prices. The lack of prices was significant when it came to the bill. €36 was way too much for two main courses and two side dishes, a water, and a coffee, served next to a fairly busy road, and apparently near a school, given (and more importantly, hearing) the crowd of kids walking around shouting and the speakers blaring. The food was good, the portions were fairly generous, but it didn't justify the €36 bill.

A gem known only to locals, which makes it unique: delicious and plentiful food, friendly service, and affordable prices! It feels like family :) Highly recommended.
