Classic Tuscan restaurant with excellent service, extremely courteous and well-prepared staff on the menu, excellent fish-based dishes

The atmosphere is very simple. The dishes are beautifully presented with generous portions. I think you can sense the care taken in the preparation, which shines through in the authentic and genuine flavors of the dishes, which are definitely made with fresh ingredients. The wait is a bit long, in my opinion, but it's definitely worth it for the experience. The desserts are excellent, fresh and very homemade. I hope to return to try other specialties. The staff is friendly and helpful.

But then the dishes arrived... and it was pure magic! ✨ 🍝 Orecchiette with mussels and bottarga: an explosion of flavors, creamy, flavorful, and with a truly incredible balance. An absolute delight! 🦐 Seafood carbonara: simply spectacular. Creamy, rich, enveloping, and with all the flavor of the sea in every bite. Two dishes that are unforgettable. Quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and a cuisine capable of surprising. I found it by chance on my way back from Corsica. I read the reviews and gave it a try. Luckily, because with a truly exceptional quality/price ratio, I discovered an incredible seafood restaurant. When you're in the area, definitely stop by David's.

We ate very well: appetizers and seafood first courses (especially the orecchiette with bottarga). The place was packed, but the service was quick and very friendly. Everyone was disarmingly kind and genuine. The waiter, as soon as he noticed that the house wine had lost its original aroma, promptly replaced it at all tables with a bottle of excellent quality. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry, having just returned from Elba, so I will definitely be back to try the second courses as well.

We stopped here on our way back from the Port of Livorno. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptionally courteous. The chef even adapted the dishes for us, who don't eat garlic. The seafood carbonara and tuna tataki were superb!

Excellent restaurant, good simple but delicious cuisine, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, perfect service. I'll definitely be back.
