29/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant with a beautiful view of the harbor. A large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables, both on the inner side of the city walls. A la carte menu. We opted for two appetizers and two pistachio-crusted tuna. Delicious! Recommended!

17/05/2026: The location is excellent, and overall it's a beautiful resort. If I had to offer a small constructive criticism, I'd give the front desk more attention. They didn't provide us with enough information, and it took us a quarter of an hour to find our room, asking for directions twice. Overall, I didn't experience this kind of courtesy in making guests feel pampered. Other couples felt the same way. At the gala dinner, a woman asked for chamomile tea after not eating anything; it was charged to her room. I find this rude. Think about it and use this review to help you improve.

14/05/2026: We were there on two different nights. The pizza was excellent, but tonight we loved the grilled ribeye. Friendly service and a genuine atmosphere. The homemade desserts are all worth trying. Excellent value. Recommended!

15/05/2026: New Elban discovery. After returning to Elba for several years, we discovered this restaurant thanks to the Iron Tour Triathlon. Excellent discovery. We arrived expecting pizza, but the menu tempted us. Extremely kind and professional staff! (A huge thank you to the girl "with the unique accent," as she described herself 😊). We'll be back!

27/04/2026: On a short vacation on Elba Island, I'd been wanting to try the cuisine at Teatro Bistrot for a long time, and I must say it was worth the wait. I started with excellent fried anchovies, followed by spaghetti with mullet bottarga and lemon, which I highly recommend. The tagliolini del teatro, a house recipe, were also delicious. Followed by a magnificent amberjack, the catch of the day. The wine selection is excellent, ranging from the island's local wines to an incredible blanc de noirs recommended by the owner. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, from the characteristic indoor setting to a beautiful outdoor terrace with an enchanting view. The staff is friendly and attentive, helping you experience the island's atmosphere, captivating you with its beauty. A visit to Teatro Bistrot is not to be missed under any circumstances; I hope to return in September! I thank the owners, Fiona and Antonio, for their wonderful welcome.

18/04/2026: Very good restaurant, super friendly waiters, the food arrived in less than 10 minutes, in my opinion perfect in terms of waiting time and very good quality-price ratio.

09/05/2026: We had dinner on a Friday evening, two adults and one child. The location is gorgeous, but there's limited seating inside. The staff was very kind, allowing us to sit inside due to the strong wind, even though our table was outside. We had raw fish, two first courses, and the fish of the day, which was presented raw at the table (which unfortunately isn't a given). Everything was excellent; I only recommend speeding up the filleting process because the fish arrived a bit cold. But that doesn't detract from the 5-star rating.

05/05/2026: We opted for the €50 per person menu, including water and coffee, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The value for money is simply remarkable. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous, which is quite rare and worth mentioning. The view is picture-perfect, a real bonus that makes the experience even more magical. It's a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The service was also impeccable: attentive, professional, and warm from beginning to end. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the overall experience.

02/05/2026: After a wonderful day in Portoferraio, we stumbled upon this truly charming place while strolling. The first thing that made us smile was the little bowl outside for the dogs to drink: a simple gesture that speaks volumes about how attentive they are to everyone. We sat down and were immediately greeted with a super-detailed explanation of the menu. There's no printed version because they offer something new every day, and that's exactly the beauty: the waiter explains everything with passion (and you can even take a photo of it on the updated blackboard, if you like). On their recommendation, we ordered a mixed antipasto and... well, everything was truly delicious. The meatballs were incredibly delicate, delicious, and perfectly balanced; the stuffed mussels were surprising, with combinations we never would have imagined but were absolutely successful. But the real star was the tuna salad: simply out of this world! Marinated tuna with orange zest, basil, and other ingredients that create a spectacular mix of flavors. I dreamed about it last night! Next, we tried the tagliolini with spider crab and the tagliolini with anchovy sauce, both delicious and carefully prepared. Thank you so much for this experience! It's a shame we found out you're only open for dinner, otherwise we would have returned immediately for lunch before leaving. But one thing's for sure: when we return to Elba, this will be one of our first thoughts!

27/05/2026: How delicious can a pizza be? Pizzeria Trattoria da Emilio says 'yes'. The pizza was incredibly delicious. Prices were great. Highly recommended if you're not looking for anything too fancy. It was perfect for us.
