07/03/2026: Had lunch on a Sunday out of season. A wonderful surprise. The appetizer selections were delicious (suitable for two). The dishes were carefully prepared, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

29/01/2026: An enchanting place in the Elba mountains.
At the entrance, you'll find a blackboard with the prices for each course. There's no real menu, but depending on the evening, there will be an appetizer/first course/second course option, whether meat or fish.
The staff is very friendly and courteous, and they even recommended splitting the appetizer to get the most out of it.
The four of us ordered:
2 seafood appetizers to share (1/2 each)
2 seafood first courses
1 meat second course
1 seafood second course (but there was very little seafood here, and it was only spinach)
1 bottle of wine
2 desserts
Total less than €40 per person
Highly recommended if you like beautiful, authentic locations and first courses.

28/04/2026: The table setting and ambiance were poorly maintained and certainly not in line with the prices.
We waited for a first course for forty minutes without any justification. The oil was old (2024 harvest), and the fried food was rubbery with poor quality oil.
The staff was rushed, sullen, and not very talkative.
Two first courses, one fried dish, one local prosecco (plain), and one sparkling water: €91.
08/04/2026: At Grigolo, we received a warm welcome from the "hosts," Flavio and his wife, who pampered us without being too intrusive, and from the rest of the team.
I had the privilege of stepping into the kitchen and seeing the excellent freshly caught fish with my own eyes.
This restaurant showcases the culinary tradition, a rarity in most restaurants these days.
Fresh, authentic food expertly prepared by Flavio.
Clean and tidy atmosphere.
Congratulations.

06/04/2026: I went to eat at Sassi Rossi for Easter, fish-based menu with refined and unusual dishes, the fish was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection, a restaurant that has refined furnishings and a welcoming and refined atmosphere, excellent service, 5 stars well deserved!

30/07/2025: De plek, het uitzicht en het eten is geweldig! Het personeel is erg beleeft. Ik was jarig die dag en kreeg onverwachts een toetje met een verjaardagslied, zonder dat we daarom hadden gevraagd! Zo lief!! Ik raad u de tent echt aan, het is genieten daar! De pizza's waren ook overheerlijk en er was super veel keuze
28/07/2025: Ieder jaar bezoeken we deze gezellige pizzeria. Een heus familiebedrijf waar men met hart en ziel heerlijke pizza’s maakt.
Het is een kleine zaak en je kunt hier niet reserveren.
Maar wie geduld heeft en gewoon geniet van de gezellige sfeer en muziek zal beloond worden met heerlijke pizza’s en cocktails.
Mijn lievelings is de pizza met friarielli en salsiccia.
En om het feest af te maken als dessert een heerlijke baba al rum.
Geregeld is er live muziek. Mistral is de parel op Cavo.

27/07/2025: Esperienza decisamente negativa: siamo arrivati in 6 per bere qualcosa, il caffè shakerato non arrivava e quando glielo abbiamo fatto notare ci hanno risposto che potevamo andare in un altro bar. Maleducati è l’unico aggettivo che mi viene in mente. Preciso che solitamente non faccio recensioni o le faccio quando ho trascorso un’esperienza positiva ma oggi non potevo evitarlo.
21/07/2025: Cena sublime. Stasera a cena abbiamo deciso di tornare per la seconda volta di fila in questo ristorante.Tavolo vista mare. Personale molto carino, educato e rapido.. il proprietario… una persona squisita. Abbiamo mangiato spaghetti alle vongole e del tonno alla griglia super fresco. Prezzi ottimi , ma cibo ancor di più . Sicuramente prossima volta a Cavo sarà la nostra prima scelta. Grazie Massimo ci vediamo a Settembre.

05/02/2026: We were here in May 2025. First, the positives: the campsite is beautifully quiet, nestled in the woods. Since it was still the off-season, we could choose our own spot; there were hardly any occupied. This was fortunate, because the spot the friendly lady at reception had initially assigned us was inaccessible to our 6.65-meter-long and 2.14-meter-wide motorhome; we would have scraped the rear. I then walked around the campsite to find a suitable and accessible pitch. We then stayed there in a very peaceful location. The sanitary facilities were quite neglected. Okay, not really a problem for us, as we had everything we needed on board. We had actually checked in for several days, but left after one night. This wasn't a problem at reception; they immediately refunded our money. Thank you. The water and waste disposal facilities are not directly on the campsite. We had to go to a site about 300 meters away for that. That one was also difficult to drive on, with a short, steep driveway and the greywater drain hidden under trees and bushes, making it hard to find. Half of it ran down the steep driveway. So, it's only suitable for panel vans if you don't want to get scratched.
09/10/2025: My family and I just spent a week in this dream treehouse. Peace, tranquility, and clean air define this place.

27/04/2025: Siamo andati ieri sera a cena, ma i miei erano già stati in paio di volte e ci avevano detto che avevano mangiato un ottimo spaghetto alle vongole.
Ma ieri abbiamo voluto provare la pizza.
Per me la migliore che io abbia mai mangiato, sono una fan della pizza, giro molte pizzerie, ma questa mi ha veramente conquistato dal primo boccone.
Pasta che profuma di pane e non di lievito come tante, passata di pomodoro di altissima qualità, mozzarella strepitosa fior di latte.
Ne avrei mangiate anche due perché abbiamo digerito subito.
Veramente bravi complimenti.

27/04/2025: Ho messo 5/5 perché la cucina di Vento in poppa mi ha lasciato senza parole.
Il pescato fresco si sente, mia moglie ha assaggiato il loro antipasto di tartare di tonno con l’avocado mentre io ho preso il primo di gnocchetti con crostacei, successivamente ci siamo divisi la zuppetta di molluschi…che dire piatti generosi e saporiti, prezzi più che giustificati anche dal buon vino servitoci dal personale professionale e simpatico.
Torneremo sicuramente.

Vreselijk! prijs/kwaliteit is totaal niet in verhouding. Service van personeel niet wat je mag verwachten. Niet professioneel. Personeel gedraagt zich erg onrustig en chaotische sfeer.
Het ziet er mooi uit met de inrichting maar laat u niet misleiden. Het was een grote teleurstelling en een veel te hoge rekening! Schandalig crimineel. Hoe durven ze zoveel geld te vragen. Ga alstublieft ergens anders eten!

Sicuramente da consigliare !
Il pesce servito è spesso catturato dai pescatori locali.
