Tortelli with ragù, gnocchi with pecorino cheese and truffle, pappardelle with wild boar.
Traditional cuisine, prepared with love.
We will definitely return to celebrate our family reunions.
Excellent service and excellent cuisine, no exceptions.

07/02/2026: The best thing is the ambiance; the meat used to be good, but today many of the pizzas were too dry. The tomatoes and Parmesan were supermarket quality. The house wine was too warm and too acidic. Prices are now much higher than on the website; even the €3 cover charge is steep. A family with two children ends up paying €12 for a seat. The pricing is a rip-off.

25/01/2026: The atmosphere is refined. The tables are spaced far enough apart to allow diners to converse without having to raise their voices. The staff is attentive, courteous, and punctual. The menu isn't terribly extensive, which I appreciate, but may be limiting for some. What I ate was delicious and well-rounded. A special mention goes to the excellent millefeuille with Chantilly cream, which made us end the meal with a smile.

02/02/2026: Both the inside and outside are very welcoming. The staff, who are also the owners, are kind and friendly and make you feel at home.
As for the food, it's excellent, with just the right portions—not too much, not too little.
I had already eaten there a few years ago and was there again last Sunday, and the quality and everything else remained unchanged. Long live the good old days.
20/01/2026: We enjoyed excellent traditional Tuscan food, with flavorful and carefully prepared dishes. The staff was truly courteous and attentive, and immediately made us feel at ease. The prices are mid-range, but the quality of the ingredients justifies this. Even though we didn't order it, we noticed that the pizza looked truly inviting and had a gorgeous side.

16/12/2025: Terrible experience. After a first course that seemed promising (pumpkin tart and black cabbage and bean soup), it was a complete downhill ride: tagliatelle with bacon, tagliatelle with tripe, and a cheesecake sub-type (A+). Bread (A+). Small but cute place, very friendly staff.

La Carbonaia BBQ Restaurant.

25/09/2025: This has become a must-try for anyone passing through the area... there's no other place like it: an outdoor restaurant shaded by the beautiful Maremma pines, but otherwise managed as if it were indoors (the furniture is well-made, not beach-style...). The staff is more than friendly, and the quality is excellent! Try the Florentine steak (!!!) and the truffle puree!
