In all the years I've been ordering it, I've never had the stomachache or stomachaches I've unfortunately had to deal with at other places. This is a sign of the exceptional workmanship and quality of the products. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always with a smile on their faces! While most dishes are prepared in advance, making it difficult to get them freshly made to order, they are definitely more delicious than many high-end restaurants that claim to offer freshly made food. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is also very warm and prompt.

The owners were extremely kind and knowledgeable, but what struck us most was their genuine passion for their work: it shines through in every detail, from the service to the descriptions of the dishes. The menu is simple, with just a few options, but carefully curated. Each dish is unique, refined, and unlike anything else you'll find elsewhere. There's a strong identity and a commitment to quality ingredients. A distinctive feature is their artisanal amaro, called "Amargo," which we also purchased to take home. It's inspired by the history of the Spanish occupation, a detail that adds character and depth to the experience. The quality-price ratio is absolutely right, in line with what's on offer. What we most enjoyed, however, is the atmosphere: we felt welcomed and at home. It's a place you'll gladly return to, not just for the food, but for the humanity that accompanies it.

Now her legacy has continued by the efforts of her son and daughter, Paolo and Lolita and for nearly 40 years, with their children, the third generation, helping during those busy summer days. . Two, a place for the new members of the community from England and elsewhere, who now call the Abruzzo region as their home, to be welcomed into the community, enjoy the humble, real and authentic hospitality of this Italian family run cafe. A highlight of this place is not only its peaceful surroundings where life slowly passes by, with locals sharing funny jokes, the old boys playing bocce or youth kicking a ball around, it's the view of the surrounding mountains and rolling hills of olive trees and grapevines. Beautiful. The only thing unusual about this place is Paolo's love for his beloved Inter Milan club, which I feared to let him know I support Juventus. But no matter who you support, he and his sister welcome you with open arms and an intoxicating Italian passion.
