Even though our stay was short, they welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. Really competent staff. The restaurant has excellent cuisine and breakfast, not a buffet, but very good. They also welcomed a Beagle who was traveling with us for a small fee.
Stay to repeat.

Being here was like living in a fairly tale! Everything was just perfect!!
Great food experience... every single dish was made with care and enanched the taste of the local products.
Staff was super kind... Enrico is a true gentleman and his family just lovely.
Hotel has a great view on the area, rooms really nice and very clean. Spa equipped with jacuzzi, sauna and sun shower was marvellous!!!
We'll definitely be back in autumn to admire the foliage!

Beautiful experience from 27 to 30 March 2024 15 people staying in the old refuge chalet immersed in a beautiful beech forest... Very welcoming environment, all the staff very courteous... sublime cuisine! Enrico really pampered us...we will be back soon! I highly recommend it!

Delightful place, in a strategic position to explore and experience Monte Amiata. Romantic place, typical of the mountains, which is also well suited to families. Right sized rooms, very large bathroom with all comforts.
Private parking.
The staff is very kind, friendly and attentive to every customer's need.

We were looking for a quiet place, two days immersed in nature, walking paths, the simplicity of the surrounding villages. In the evening, the welcoming warmth of the hotel, the nice space near the always lit fireplace, the courtesy of the staff. A note of merit to the restaurant, delicious fried mushrooms!!… And the simple and tasty cuisine, the good morning croissant, not the usual frozen one, and the freshly cut fruit salad. I appreciated booking breakfast in the evening, it avoids waste and in this case it guaranteed quality. Well done! The kindness of those who welcomed us made these two days of escape from everyday life precious. Thanks to all the staff at Albergo le Macinaie!

Rustic hotel like the location so perfect I would say! I stayed from Friday evening to Sunday morning and it was a very relaxing 1 and a half days. Super friendly and professional staff. The food is good at the restaurant, portions a little small but very good! Private relaxation area for a truly relaxing hour. I would absolutely go back but in the summer season! SUPER RECOMMENDED

Dormire a fine Giugno, quando in pianura impazza il caldo feroce, con una coperta, non ha eguali.
In cima all’Amiata, strada bellissima per arrivarci soprattutto a pomeriggio inoltrato.
Stanza un po’ piccola ma pulita ed accogliente.
Buono il ristorante.
Personale gentile fino ad un certo punto ma va bene.
Assolutamente da consigliare e da ritornare.
