02/06/2026: We arrived just before closing time and were greeted courteously. The appetizer was good and the pizza/pinsa excellent. The price was reasonable. The service was friendly and fast. Recommended.

Many things are better! Many compliments! Don't take the Google rating into consideration.

The waitress was extremely polite, kind, and attentive throughout the evening. We ate very well and highly recommend it.

31/05/2026: Today, May 31st, 11 a.m. I'm coming from Grosseto. Sorry, we wanted to stay two hours. Is it possible to stay half a day? Answer: no. Now I'm wondering, wouldn't it have been better to take 11 euros than nothing? Maybe we'd have gotten a taste for it and stayed for lunch. As a result, they didn't take 11 euros, and I won't be going back. Nothing to do with rude people from Grosseto. So much for tourism.

30/06/2026: Going to La Fenice del Vignolo in Grosseto is a bit like finding yourself in a romantic corner of Turin or Paris. Elegant instrumental music, an intimate interior, and a small outdoor space are ideal for a romantic dinner at an affordable price.
Beautiful atmosphere, details that make the difference (paintings, glasses that enhance the table setting), and delicious pizza, absolutely recommended!

The wine is also excellent.
They have ping pong tables, foosball tables, and a large patio.

07/09/2025: While vacationing at the Baia Verde campsite, we discovered this restaurant. What can I say? The fried fish with battered vegetables melts in your mouth. Among the best we've ever had. The seafood mezze paccheri are exceptional. Fresh, quality ingredients. The service was in line with the dishes; the staff was helpful and very friendly. It's sad to see reviews from a few years ago referring to another management lower the rating. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended!
06/09/2025: Delicious food and friendly service; only the dessert (cheesecake) was a bit small. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes on the terrace, so don't forget mosquito repellent.

14/05/2026: I returned on May 1st after a few years, and the impression is still the same: a very simple restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. Of course, when you walk in, you know you won't find world-class culinary excellence, but you know everything will be fair and honest. The service, food, and final bill were good. I would go back.

30/07/2026: An unexpected encounter that was a pleasant surprise. The revisited pici all'aglione, spaghetti with clams, and fried shrimp and prawns were all delicious. The staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the wait time was reasonable. Definitely worth a try.
22/07/2026: A family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel immediately welcome. Explanations and suggestions for dishes and wines are provided. The restaurant is well-kept. Tables are spaced appropriately apart. The portions are just the right size and of excellent quality, and they're divinely cooked. The only downsides are the numerous mosquitoes (necessary but not sufficient) and the lack of fans, which on a day like yesterday (77% humidity) would have made dinner more pleasant.
I highly recommend it as a culinary experience.

02/07/2026: The first course was very good even if the second course was not very abundant for the price and then I had a four cheese course that tasted like Margherita with some parmesan on top.
30/06/2026: Pizzeria with a wood-fired oven, with indoor and outdoor tables, a quiet and familiar location, an extensive menu, truly excellent pizzas, their take-away service is also excellent, fast and friendly, the pizza always arrives piping hot, excellent quality/price, definitely an experience to repeat

The food my family had, was also great.
Restaurant has a very lovely atmosphere.
The location around the restaurant is also great, you are right at the plazia.
You can tell there was a lot of thought put into this restaurant, the food, the furniture and cutlery.
Everything is just very cute and exactly how you would imagine a traditional Italian restaurant to be like.
Bathroom was clean too.
If I am ever in Grosseto again, I am going to eat here again.
14/05/2026: Ordered breast of chicken which came our looking like it had been grilled and tasting like it had been ddep fried. Dry and over cooked. Entrées were OK for the €3 cover charge. Only serve small bottles of beer - no large - generally a sign of a tourist trap.
