Updated October 30, 2025 The seven olive harvesters of '25, on a stormy, rainy, and windy day, indulged in a great-value seafood lunch: 4 appetizers...the 5 courses were always good. 5 first courses: clam and porcini mushroom gnocchi; seafood carbonara; spaghetti with monkfish; tagliatelle with octopus and tagliatelle with cucchi and calamari. 3 second courses: grilled fish; grilled calamari and mixed fried fish. ...everything was cooked to perfection, generous dishes that were a delight to the palate. 16/04/2026: Il Frantoio di Sticciano is a wonderful place, nestled in a unique landscape with breathtaking views of the Tuscan Maremma. Maurizio, a top-notch chef, assisted by his wife Raffaella, offers a menu faithful to the best local culinary traditions. Homemade pasta, tasty appetizers, carefully prepared game that never loses its distinctive flavor. A true specialty: pizza. Il Frantoio is welcoming, and the kindness and courtesy of all the staff, especially Sofia and Elena, who manage table service, stand out. In the summer, the restaurant hosts guests on the veranda, where they can admire the wonderful colors of the sunset while dining.

23/12/2025: Here, "almost everything" is still made by hand. Run by genuine older locals, you're also served by them. Very friendly and authentic.
06/12/2025: I stopped by Osteria Il Cinquino for lunch, and I have to say the place has a quiet, simple atmosphere. You can only eat outside, which is nice on nice days, though its location, practically on the roundabout, can be a bit noisy: when a heavy vehicle passes by, the noise interrupts the tranquility a bit. Nothing dramatic, but it's good to know. The food is the best part of lunch: excellent dishes, clearly homemade, with authentic flavors you can't find everywhere. And above all, the prices are incredibly low compared to what they offer. Honestly, quality like this at that price is hard to find. During lunch, I also had the company of several cats roaming freely in the outdoor area. They're discreet, don't get too close, but they make the atmosphere even more welcoming. In short: a simple, good, affordable lunch in a place with character. Traffic aside, I think it gets a thumbs up.
