25/04/2026: had the wild boar, didn't taste nice, 3 hours later had symptoms of food poisoning. Ive been vomiting with Diarrhea all night. service was good and nice vibe my friends had the pizzas and said they were good and they did not get food poisoning.

07/04/2026: I can't say more. We were passing through and stopped for lunch. The sauce on the pici with white ragù and chestnuts tasted like nothing. The bruschetta appetizer was 4 slices of toasted bread without garlic or salt. 2 with just oil (a lot) and 2 with tomato pieces drowned in oil but without salt and without being rubbed with garlic, which is the basis of bruschetta. Unfortunately, the service wasn't precise: we ordered a glass of wine and they accepted it even though the menu didn't list the glasses or the price. They served us a glass of Brunello without telling us the price. In the bill, we found a whopping €15 for the glass. We protested because, in addition to not being listed, they didn't tell us the price, and unfortunately, the owner was rude and arrogant. He wanted to give us €10 back of the €15, but obviously we didn't accept it. A truly terrible gesture towards a customer. After a few minutes he called us to apologize but we will never go back there again

28/06/2026: Beautiful place with amazing food and staff. The pizza is tasty, but on a thicker dough than what we usually eat in Italy. They are amazing at preparing meat – our beef and pork were delicious! I can also recommend the wine; although it was more expensive than in other nearby restaurants, it definitely tasted better. ​I think it's one of the few places that served seafood in the neighborhood, and I can recommend it with a clear conscience! The desserts were also amazing. The only downside was the all'aglione pasta – its taste was very good, but the portion served was too small, rather for a child than a grown person. Nevertheless, a place worth visiting!

21/05/2026: The restaurant is made up of a collection of old cellars, all joined together, creating a very charming atmosphere. Very friendly staff and good food. But above all, it's the only place that offered us a table at 9:30 on a Saturday evening, while all the others were closed or no longer accepting tables. Excellent service! The pizza can be ordered with a thick crust or a thin, crispy crust, and both are very good.

08/08/2026: The food is good quality, although the first courses were very (too) al dente. However, it's unfair that, for a table of seven, twenty minutes passed between the first and last course. The outdoor veranda faces a fairly busy street.

07/08/2026: The location is lovely, cool, and breezy. Cuttlefish with artichokes (preserved in oil) is to be avoided. The seafood was decent, except for the salmon, which has little to do with seafood. Wine from €22. Two people spent €111. Not bad for the type of cuisine and ingredients. The first courses were good.

10/07/2026: The place is special, very romantic. The food is good. Unfortunately, we felt a bit like strangers. It's nice when you're welcomed warmly even in a new place. Maybe next time will be different.

02/06/2026: On the recommendation of the hotel where we stayed, we decided to have dinner at Frantoio. I was delighted by the staff's kindness until we ordered the famous tortelli with butter and sage ragù, with so much cinnamon that it covered all the remaining flavor. I understand it may be a local dish, but it's good manners to include cinnamon, because as a Roman, if I bring a carbonara or a gricia to the table, I don't bring it with porcini mushrooms. My girlfriend had a stomach ache and is now locked in the bathroom with fennel tea, something not even Kubrick would make like this. That said, the waitress assured me she hadn't added it to the bill and had removed it, but the fact remains that it is there, with a discount of what? €7??? Making me pay €12 anyway. As a restaurant lover, I'm used to leaving waiters tips of €10-15, and honestly, I feel more than a little bit taken for a ride. Never again, because I'm not saying the customer is always right, for goodness sake, but I'm not even going to make fun of them like this. There's always room for improvement, after all. 22/02/2026: We booked for Valentine's Day dinner. There were two of us, aware that since it was a special evening, we might have to wait a bit and perhaps experience some service issues. None of this! Punctual service, exquisite food, and exemplary courtesy. Delicious first courses and equally delicious second courses. You choose the wine from the various options offered. We chose a house rosé, which was delicious. In short...highly recommended for the quality/price ratio! Francesca

24/10/2025: Amazing stay. Super staff, lovely pool, and the best breakfast of the entire holiday (in Italy)! We spontaneously stayed an extra night! The road leading there is unpaved, but that is the case in many places in Italy. The location is wonderfully central and is more than suitable for simply not going anywhere and relaxing by the pool (not heated, so a bit chilly in mid-October, but after taking two deep breaths, no problem at all). Beautiful, spacious rooms and lovely toiletries. We will definitely be back here again!

10/06/2026: We discovered this great restaurant thanks to the reviews. So, if you're passing through Orbetello, a stop at Nico's is a must. A restaurant with a capital R, starting with the welcome... a lot of attention to detail. A varied menu with dishes that far exceed expectations. There's not much to say... octopus... linguine with clams, bottarga, and a sprinkling of lemon with a creamy sauce that forces you to mop up the plate and polish it off... fresh octopus, etc., I could write a book about it 😂😂😂😂😂... We'll be back very soon and I recommend you do the same... for us, Orbetello = Nico's Restaurant. The rest, ummmmm, come and enjoy what the staff offers you.

03/06/2026: Booked for two at 9:30 PM on a pre-holiday. Nice place with indoor and outdoor seating, professional staff, an appetizer, two pizzas, water, half a liter of house wine, bread, and table service. It cost about €35. I wouldn't return, both for the quality of the food and for the comment after I posted. I'm also glad I put the manager in a good mood. Laughter is good for your health.

21/07/2026: Terrible service, VERY GOOD food. I booked a bachelorette party for 14 people weeks in advance. We arrived at the scheduled time and were greeted by LUCIA, who showed us to our table and began by saying, "We put you at separate tables; I couldn't make one table for you" (implying that she had already told me this over the phone). When we explained that this wasn't what we wanted and that we hadn't been informed over the phone, she proposed an L-shaped table where one person would be eating with the gazebo leg stuck to their face. We then told her to kindly put the tables back to their original positions if that was the only solution. From this point on, THE APOCALYPSE: she moved the tables, knocking things over: light bulbs, cutlery, glasses, but in the end she agreed to our request. After this episode, to calm everyone's spirits, we asked for two bottles of Prosecco to celebrate the bride. We asked for glasses to toast, but they told us they didn't have glasses suitable for Prosecco and couldn't give us the ones for wine, otherwise they'd dirty them (Crazy!!). So, they offered us the shallow ones for water. The icing on the cake was the bill. After the bride paid part of the bill, the rest was divided among the other 13 people, and we went to pay our share, person by person. When the last of the 13 people was missing, Lucia stated with extreme certainty that she was two shares short. We all went to the cashier to prove that we had paid (with receipts or phone transactions) and that therefore it was not possible that two shares were missing, as she said. All this to say that the food is good and for this reason it would be worth returning, but with someone like that welcoming the customer, I would strongly advise against going!

21/07/2026: Terrible experience. Poor food. Pasta seemed precooked, inedible even for a dog. Appetizers were beyond mediocre. Parking was difficult. I will never return. Highly discouraged.

03/05/2026: I ate really well. Tagliolini with lobster, tonnarelli with artichokes and sea bass, and exceptional raw ham and skewers.

04/04/2026: The fish appetizers and first courses are truly exceptional. The service is also excellent. The location, which is very close to the sea but not very beautiful, is compensated by an excellent menu; just look at the dishes and you'll be amazed.
