05/09/2025: It's been years since I've had such an excellent lampredotto sandwich or peposo. Lately, the "lampredottai" (lampredotto joints) I used to go to have lost some of their quality. Here, I found courteous, fast, and even friendly service, but above all, excellent quality ingredients. The sandwich bread is perfect and doesn't fall apart like it often does. It's also incredibly comfortable, with seating both inside and out. Well done, keep it up! I'll definitely be back again!!!

21/07/2025: Lampredotto is an institution in Florence, and every Florentine has their favorite lampredotto maker: Lapo is mine. When I met him, he amazed me by serving me cold Lambruschino with lampredotto, which I later discovered is fantastic in the summer because it "cuts the fat." But lampredotto isn't fatty; it's the leanest meat of the entire animal, and it was the only food I could eat after an operation that kept me on a strict diet for several months. In short: Lapo weaned me on lampredotto! And lampredotto is just the most famous of Lapo's dishes, which he uses all the "poor" cuts, from sinew to breast, to tripe, which he also reworks "on the plate" like inzimino, cacciatora, artichokes, and everything delicious you can imagine with the "fifth quarter." Can you say that? Lapo is a high-end tripe maker who doesn't show off and delivers high quality. I don't want to make comparisons, since every Florentine has their favorite tripe shop...

28/06/2025: My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant on the recommendation of locals, and we were not disappointed. From the food to the service and ambiance, everything was great. We were very impressed and would love to come back :)

06/09/2025: An experience definitely worth repeating. We had an aperitif with a breathtaking view, with exceptional wine. Afterwards, we stayed for dinner. I had a lemon, citron, and kefir risotto, and my boyfriend had Chianti fettuccine. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Not to mention the staff, all kind and friendly. I give it my all because it's definitely worth it.

23/08/2025: The service was great and I absolutely loved the Tiramisu della Mamma--it was like a deconstructed Tiramisu without some of the layers so it may not be everyone's cup of tea but for me, it was the best tiramisu I've ever had--super unique. I only stopped in for that so I can't speak to anything else, but I really loved it.

14/08/2025: Excellent for sampling traditional dishes or cured meats and cheeses. We had lunch for two. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had a lampredotto sandwich and pasta with dried tomatoes, cheese, and pancetta. The food was fabulous, all top-quality, and it cost just over €30, including water. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a meal before or after visiting the Pitti Palace.

31/07/2025: I'm a regular customer now; Matteo and his family are fantastic. The dishes are a mix of innovation and tradition. The menu changes seasonally, but the fresh pasta, fried lampredotto, and steak are my favorites. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: A welcoming restaurant with quality products. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile by Gianna, her son Matteo, and his father Domenico. They seated us in the restaurant and explained their specialties. In addition to the uniqueness of the food, we were also impressed by the kindness and humanity of the owners. The food was excellent, with generous portions and fast service. The wishing well inside the restaurant is unique. We highly recommend this restaurant. Luana and Domenico

26/07/2025: We arrived about 50 minutes before opening to be first in line. We were greeted by a humble crew of sandwich masters. We had nice chat, and then watched prep through the window. The menu is straightforward. Each sandwich is crafted well. You order at the cashier, they give you a number, you wait outside for them to call your number, then you crunch your way through layers of sliced heaven. It’s a must try. We got La Rossa (Yes Chef approved) and Suicida (Spicy and savory). We will come back!

26/07/2025: Truly a great spot for authentic Florence sandwiches. Such great quality products and amazing portions. Even with long queue service was fast and attentive. Cost was also a welcome surprise at how cheap it was.

26/07/2025: Paseando por la noche lo vimos pero era un poco tarde y decidimos pasarnos al día siguiente. Nos ha encantado! Huíamos de sitios para turistas y nos ha encantado, además nos hemos quedado los últimos y ha salido el dueño a saludar y nos ha contado sus inicios y su historia! Ha sido una experiencia redonda! Hemos alimentado el cuerpo y el alma! Muchas gracias! Volveremos seguro!

24/07/2025: Atendidos por sus dueños, mamá papá e hijo están al mando del restaurante. La comída excelente. Comimos pastas caseras y una torta de ricotta excelente. Un bolichon típico para salir del bullicio de los turistas.

26/07/2025: I agree with the positive reviews: huge plates (even half a slice of swordfish in the center piece and a whole soup plate of boiled vegetables!) at rock-bottom prices. Everything was delicious, it's a small, family-run restaurant; I don't know how they manage to keep their prices down. There are two drawbacks: they don't answer the phone, so much so that on the first night I thought they were closed for vacation, and from the outside it's completely anonymous, making it hard to even enter. Advice to foreign tourists: this is the true Italian hospitality that existed until the early 2000s. Go there because there are very few places like it in all of Italy.

25/07/2025: Everything was excellent. We stumbled upon it by chance, looking for a quiet place and reading some reviews. I agree with most of the reviews online. The place is family-friendly, the staff are very friendly and always available for any requests. Prices are reasonable. The food is delicious, and the pizza dough is spectacular. I've made a note of the place, and if we're in Florence again, we'll definitely be back.

18/08/2025: Excellent service, staff welcomed us with free appetizer and offer good suggestions for seafood lovers and for vegetarians. The food is INCREDIBLE, one of the best restaurants we have been to. The dinner was well portioned, fresh and flavourful (octopus and linguine pasta). The dessert was unique and had layers of flavour (yogurt based with honey and fruit). Would definitely recommend for special dinner in Florence.
