05/11/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because it's the best I can give, but it deserves at least double for the kindness, patience, and above all, the professionalism of the lady!
I've ordered 3 cakes since September, and ALL of them were beyond excellent, from the look to the taste. She even waited for me because I was delayed in traffic past closing time... people of this kindness are hard to find these days...
I'm uploading photos of the cakes below because they deserve to be appreciated ❤️

22/03/2026: I went with my friends; it's a truly wonderful place. The welcome was excellent, the lady was very kind and helpful, and you could tell from the fish that it was well-preserved and very fresh. I've been there several times with my friends and parents, and I think I'll go back without a problem.
20/03/2026: For me, the quality/price ratio is above average for AYCE restaurants.
Plus, the restaurant is very knowledgeable about gluten-free options for celiacs.
A very welcoming and attentive atmosphere.

16/01/2026: Besides being a wine bar, it's a real restaurant with top-quality dishes, both local and sophisticated. Truly delicious, with excellent service. Reservations are required. We went on a Monday and luckily booked a week in advance, otherwise it would have been full. I recommend it. Perhaps more attention is needed to recommend wines to go with the various dishes.
08/01/2026: On my way back from Siena to Livorno, I decided to stop for a bite to eat at this little wine shop. I gave it the highest rating for food, service, and ambiance, because as a celiac, being able to eat safely isn't a given. Oh, I forgot... it's not part of the AIC (Italian Celiac Association), but sometimes being professional is even more important. Thank you so much, it was truly enjoyable ❤️.

13/02/2026: It's a lunchtime bar, with seating for a sandwich, a first course, or a quick second course. It's excellent, and the prices aren't bad. In fact, compared to what's around, this one, in my opinion, is truly among the best, both in terms of quality and price. Close to two shopping centers and several businesses, it opens at 5:30, if I'm not mistaken. The service is excellent, and the staff are really talented, always ready to try to please their customers.

15/02/2026: For Valentine's Day dinner, we were hosted at Castello Ruffino, part of the Montemasso estate, as an alternative location to the Poggio Casciano estate, which is currently under renovation. We were warmly welcomed into the castle by the waiters and the maître d', inviting us to sit at our preferred table. I won't go into detail about the location, dishes, and service, as they wouldn't do justice to the magnificent experience we had at Tre Rane restaurant. I'll just add that the chefs were willing to make changes to my dishes due to my allergies and intolerances.
13/12/2025: Aside from the truly spectacular location in the Chianti hills, we had a wonderful time. The evening featured a set menu, including excellent wines, generous portions, and very tasty dishes. We also toured the winery, which was very interesting. Spectacular place, I can't imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer.

04/04/2026: I visited Trattoria Gabriello in Florence and had a truly excellent experience.
We started with a rich and delicious appetizer, consisting of a mix of cured meats, bruschetta, and an excellent cheese platter, all of which were of the highest quality. Next, we tried tagliatelle with wild boar and gemelli with white ragù: both first courses were flavorful, well-made, and perfectly balanced.
The real highlight, however, was the Florentine steak, sublimely cooked, tender, and flavorful, accompanied by potatoes. Everything was enhanced by a truly excellent Chianti.
The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive, and the service was fast and impeccable.
An absolutely positive experience: highly recommended!
31/03/2026: We had a wonderful time.
The staff was kind and friendly. The pappardelle with wild boar was highly recommended; it truly warmed the heart. The braised beef with mashed potatoes was incredible. The ribollita was also recommended. The portions were just right if you wanted to try more than one dish.

16/03/2026: For a birthday party. The girls did their best to entertain the kids, even though the venue wasn't the best, as they were playing among the tables. There are slides outside for kids, but they were locked. The venue was clean.

09/03/2026: Service was great, they were very attentive. The vibe here is lovely (granted my girlfriend and I sat outside on the patio on a sunny day with 70 degree weather drinking spritz’s). The food was also delicious, not the best I’ve ever had, but solid nonetheless. Worth stopping by for lunch or even potentially dinner. Would recommend.
09/03/2026: I highly recommend Borgo Antico if you are in the Piazza Santo Spirito area of Florence. The pizza and salads are delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. You get the authentic Florence experience.

28/12/2025: We booked during a motorcycle tour, and I have to say it was a nice surprise. As soon as you enter, you find yourself in an old-fashioned bar and are immediately greeted by the truly friendly and kind staff who lead us to a small but cozy room. We begin to order and shortly afterward the food arrives, everything very good and with generous portions.
What can I say....clean environment, good food, and welcoming staff...we'll definitely be back 👍
17/11/2025: The restaurant is a bit dated but tidy and clean, and the staff are very friendly. The food is exceptional, the pasta is homemade, everything is good, and the prices are fair. Recommended.

16/11/2025: I found it very convenient to be able to book a table by WhatsApp, which you can find here on Google. Thin and crispy pizza, just as they like it around here, and super affordable prices, from €5 to €9.80... but on my last visit, with the place packed, I waited an hour for my pizza to arrive!

17/03/2026: We were surprised to find it rather empty when we arrived. The place is really cool and you can have a quiet conversation, plus they have a good selection of wines. The pizza crust seemed different from the others we tried, thinner, but very good.
15/03/2026: The food was good and the ambience is very nice. Unfortunately, something happened during our visit that left a negative impression.
Two young women came into the restaurant and one politely asked if she could use the restroom because it was quite urgent. Her friend even offered to buy something. It was obvious she was in real discomfort.
The staff member refused, saying he had just cleaned the restroom and that it was a matter of principle. I understand that a restaurant doesn’t want to be used as a public toilet. However, in this situation it would have been nice to make a small human exception. The lack of empathy in that moment felt quite unpleasant.

07/03/2026: A little confusing with walking in and almost a unwelcoming experience.
First round of drinks took a while. Our server didn’t know the quantity for spirits. But she was super attentive and also the one that pointed out that drinks shouldn’t take this long.
Free popcorn was awesome.
They put us in. Side room with no vibe and it felt like being put in detention.
50th not in my book. But hey what do I know.
Good place and if the hostess steps up it would be great.
Didn’t eat because I had du QR code the menu and of course WiFi was free
