02/11/2025: Inedible crostini, not toasted, oil-soaked bread with "bho" sauces. Very good tortelli, reheated roast. The best cantuccini I've ever had, brushed with egg and full of amaretti flavor. There were three of us, we had lunch for two, spending €40 each...you name it. The place is incredible, in fact, you have to work quite hard to get there. Road to accommodate.

26/10/2025: We ordered a ribollita, and it arrived with a very runny vegetable puree... I couldn't believe it... we pointed it out, but the waitress replied very annoyed that it was the right thing to do. The pumpkin gnocchi were anemic, flavorless, and a slapdash mess. We then ordered a tagliata with oil and rosemary, and a plate of lamb's lettuce was presented to us, topped with four slices of completely unseasoned meat... there was really no point in asking for an explanation, given the lack of response when they asked how it was going and we replied, "bad!" The wine was good, as was the oil...the only positives.

28/09/2025: Excellent food and a very nice atmosphere! We really enjoyed it. The dishes are exceptionally delicious (including dessert)...and not expensive at all. Homemade ketchup. And they serve German beer. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

29/11/2025: The atmosphere is nice, but the service and dinner are terrible. The appetizers are passable, but the pizza is beyond description. Gourmet pizza, but it's simply gourmet in name. A drizzle of sour tomato sauce, two mozzarella crumbs, all on a 'pizza' served in five miserable little pieces, served cold and spaced apart. Those little pieces, if placed close together, are the size of a takeout focaccia. The ingredients are absolutely not of the quality listed on the menu. We arrived at 8:30 PM with a reservation, but by 10:00 PM the pseudo-pizza still hadn't arrived. It's no longer the same restaurant/pizzeria it was before. I'm very sorry about this because I've had good times here in the past, but now I don't think I'll ever return. €95 spent on what, I still have to figure out.

10/10/2025: I go there alone and bring friends, you are at the market on an internal terrace above the butcher's shop; for me excellent meat and excellent hospitality, friendly but attentive atmosphere; but above all dishes prepared by Elisabetta, very good and varied, always changing with the season; the cost practically the same as the ingredients bought at the market, on Saturdays it is best to book, I recommend a visit.

24/06/2025: There is an important distinction to be made: the terrace above the restaurant for eating on the spot and the butcher's shop below... In order the Terrace. Rating 5 stars!!! Really nice; few seats in a very intimate atmosphere with which even without wanting to you find yourself talking to the people next to you. You order and are served via a freight elevator, there is no staff between the tables. You take your wine, your drinks, set yourself up and eat in this truly typical Tuscan place. Excellent platters and fantastic tartare, refined flavors and a little different for those who want to dare, otherwise the classic recipes. The prices are from the center of Florence so high but at least you feel good and it is money well spent. Great idea and excellent management. Butcher's shop rating ZERO. I have been an occasional customer for a long time and they ripped me off. 2 kg of steak (not even Chianina at that) at the frightening price of 90 euros (raw at the counter just cut I mean, not cooked and served to eat). I paid for it there and then except to realize later what I had actually been asked for. In hindsight I should have left it there, smiled and left. Unfortunately I was distracted at the time and... I don't know if 45 euros per kg is a "fair" price for tourists, it remains a value completely out of the market. In principle as a butcher's shop it's not bad, I don't go there often because it's not a good quality-price ratio, the times I went there they never thrilled me but in any case nothing negative to report. As for the story of the steak, however, I was so disappointed that I stopped going for lunch too... very bad guys, too bad...

16/10/2025: We had a really good dinner; the burgers were excellent, as was everything else. Very friendly service, and the prices were more than reasonable.

28/11/2025: I went in for an after dinner pastry and was not disappointed! While the options are many, I don't think you could go wrong with everything that was displayed. The gentleman helping me was very kind and explained me delicious choice. I look forward to another visit and pastery to try.

11/12/2025: The two of us had dinner at this delightful restaurant we'd heard so much about, and it was a wonderful experience! When I booked, I mentioned that I was celiac, and they reassured me that about 70% of the menu is naturally gluten-free, but they also pointed out that since they only have one kitchen, there could be cross-contamination. The woman who served us was kind and smiling, explaining all the dishes to us and letting me know what I could eat. Obviously, the homemade pasta wasn't available gluten-free, but almost everything else was available by removing the bread or crumble. They also have gluten-free bread on the side (not the best, but still appreciated thanks to their delicious olive oil!) We had two delicious appetizers, two first courses (the one with wild boar sauce had homemade pasta with gluten, and the cream soup was divine!), and two simply incredible desserts, especially the one with white chocolate! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, with plants everywhere and a lovely atmosphere. Next time, we'll try to book a lunch with a view of Florence!

29/09/2025: Nice little bakery near the train station in Firenze. We enjoyed both the food and service. Narrow seating area, don't bring your huge luggage in.

08/11/2025: Il Quartino - Frescobaldi is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a wonderful wine aperitif while admiring a beautiful view, amidst rolling hills and a majestic vineyard. Not only aperitifs, but also typical local products (cured meats, cheeses, and much more). There's also a great restaurant inside. The young and extremely friendly staff are incredibly helpful. I really admire Mattia's resourcefulness, his attention to detail and the products he offers.

05/11/2025: Beautiful view! Enchanting place. The wooden outdoor tables add a rustic touch and, on sunny days, a sense of well-being, directly overlooking the vast Chianti hills. The menu isn't very varied (it's a wine bar, not a restaurant). The food is okay. But the highlight is the vast selection of top-quality wines. The extra virgin olive oil is also exceptional and worth a bottle.

09/10/2025: A pleasant surprise, regardless of the reviews. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable (and that makes a big difference). The fish dishes are original and well-matched with local produce like legumes and truffles. The prices are fair and in line with the quality of the products. All in all: well done.

08/12/2025: A truly wonderful pastry shop! Always packed with people because the quality of their products is remarkable; from leavened pastries for breakfast to savory treats. It's located in the Legnaia neighborhood, a busy place with good service. Unfortunately, I only stop by when I go to the nearby pet store, but I must say that every time I stop by, it never disappoints. Even on holidays, when the place is crowded, the staff is very efficient, and the lady in charge of hot drinks is a real "worker": fantastic, she never gets a single order wrong! Must try 😉

03/12/2025: It's been years since I've been back, this morning I stopped and got 2 pistachio croissants... and I realize they weren't the right ones for the day... very disappointed
