We chose this pizzeria because it serves gluten-free pizza. We were greeted with a much-appreciated welcome gift (samples of fried pizza, also gluten-free!!, and a glass of sparkling wine).
The place is very cute, informal, and colorful. The staff is truly friendly.
The food is very good, even the gluten-free pizza, and the prices are reasonable!
Highly recommended!

29/01/2026: Staying at the adjacent hotel and I grabbed lunch before getting on the road. The BEST fresh spaghetti I have ever had. Attentive staff and charming decor. A bit off the beaten path if you’re a tourist, but walk the extra 20 minutes please.

I got the schiacciata number 6, XL size... amazing. Slightly crunchy and very tasty.
The schiacciata cost €10, appropriate for the size and the quality and quantity of the filling (the stracciatella is fabulous).
10/03/2026: Caffè Dogali is one of those places that captures your heart the first time you visit. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, far removed from the tourist chaos that often reigns in the city center. I truly appreciated the quality of the coffee—one of the best I've had in the city—and the courtesy of the staff, who truly make you feel at home. But the real surprise were the stuffed schiacciatine: I chose the one with prosciutto, onion sauce, and dried tomatoes, a simply perfect combination, flavorful and well-balanced. Ideal for a quick but satisfying lunch, even more enjoyable when eaten al fresco. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the authentic Florence, the Florentines' way.

03/01/2026: We were told that some dishes were prepared by the chef of the Santa Elisabetta restaurant, which boasts two Michelin stars. I don't know if this is common practice or if we were just lucky. The service was excellent despite our limited Italian, and the decor and ambiance were lovely.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the flavors evoked emotions and memories.

05/10/2025: I went there for dinner with my wife on a Friday evening. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and very courteous and helpful. The fried fish and vegetables were delicious, crispy, cooked just right and not too oily. The Vermentino white wine was good. The place was nice and welcoming, and the prices were fair.
The only downside is that it's located inside a gas station, but it's a good deal because it has ample parking and is easily accessible.

07/09/2025: We found it by chance on our way back from a weekend in Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and crème brulee. The food was homemade and delicious, and I'd definitely return. The service was neither excellent nor infamous.
06/09/2025: It's a great idea to get off the highway and eat here instead of at a rest stop. It's a small place, but perfect for a quick stop and some typical dishes without breaking the bank.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by an irresistible aroma and a smiling, friendly, and super professional staff.
The pizza? An absolute masterpiece.
The dough is incredibly light, fragrant, easily digestible, and cooked to perfection.
Every bite is a feast: super-fresh ingredients, balanced combinations, and flavors that explode in your mouth.
The place is meticulously maintained and welcoming.
The service is quick but never rushed, always attentive and helpful.
