A stunning location, with a charming setting, a designer interior, quality cuisine, and professional, friendly service. The background music is also pleasant, so it doesn't disturb conversation. At the same time, the prices aren't as high as you might expect. I highly recommend this place for a romantic date or to celebrate a special occasion.

The restaurant was almost empty, just the two of us and a few other guests. At 11:00 PM, we were left alone. The waiters were starting to tidy up the room, even ironing the tablecloths live. The dishes were well presented, although some were perhaps reheated (like the potato millefeuille). In any case, the location was beautiful; we'll try again.

For Valentine's Day dinner, we were hosted at Castello Ruffino, part of the Montemasso estate, as an alternative location to the Poggio Casciano estate, which is currently under renovation. We were warmly welcomed into the castle by the waiters and the maître d', inviting us to sit at our preferred table. I won't go into detail about the location, dishes, and service, as they wouldn't do justice to the magnificent experience we had at Tre Rane restaurant. I'll just add that the chefs were willing to make changes to my dishes due to my allergies and intolerances.

Aside from the truly spectacular location in the Chianti hills, we had a wonderful time. The evening featured a set menu, including excellent wines, generous portions, and very tasty dishes. We also toured the winery, which was very interesting. Spectacular place, I can't imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer.

01/01/2026: For me, this is undoubtedly the best pastry shop in the center of Florence. It's located in the Mercato Centrale area and is a historic establishment with over 100 years of tradition. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a slightly retro atmosphere that might make you think of a luxury place with prohibitive prices, but in reality, it's the exact opposite: the prices are very fair for the area and the high quality they offer. For example, pastries are €1.40 and cappuccinos are €1.60. The place is a bit small and there's often a bit of a line, but it's absolutely worth it, especially since table service is free (a real highlight for the center!). I tried the cream bombolone and it was amazing. If you're in Florence, it's a must-see: I'll definitely be back!
