29/03/2025: 4/5 stars, deserved. Very good starters and pizza. They make the pizza with a crust and I'm not crazy about it (personal taste) but the ingredients are quality. Excellent desserts. Service, nothing to complain about, polite staff, short wait. Nice environment. To return.

26/04/2025: Delicious pasta, a very nice place, The staff does not speak English or Spanish, but it was no barrier to communicating, they made the effort and in the end it was a very delicious lunch, I also recommend the Carbonara pasta.

06/04/2025: I have known the Pit Stop for more than 25 years, and I always came back with pleasure for the kindness of the owners, the family atmosphere and the excellent food. Unfortunately, although the old owners are still there, the place has been sold to others. Last night full of enthusiasm and with the desire to eat an excellent pizza I went with some friends who have also known the pit stop for at least 30 years, I won't tell you the total disappointment!!!!! The completely different pizza, a shoe sole, without any taste and certainly with a different type of flour. My friends and I realized as soon as they brought it to us, just by looking at it, that it wasn't the usual pizza. Meanwhile, I returned home hungry but also with a sense of sadness for a chapter that is closing. Goodbye my dear Pit stop!

The restaurant Martarè, cucina vini e specialty dal 1962 is an authentic address, run with passion by an endearing couple: the lady in the dining room, attentive and warm, the gentleman in the kitchen, master of flavors. The deliberately reduced menu is a guarantee of quality, highlighting fresh, seasonal products, often grown in their own vegetable garden. Each dish tells a story, that of a land that the owners know and love deeply. The atmosphere is elegant without being pretentious, the setting is neat, and the experience is enhanced by a beautiful wine list. The wise advice for food and wine pairings once again demonstrates their passion and their know-how. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the welcome and the products. A sincere, generous and soulful address. Not to be missed if you pass through Florence.

09/09/2024: You arrive in a place, "coincidentally" known by a friend who lives not far away, you see it from the outside. Those places that a functional illiterate would never enter (and thank goodness), but which immediately takes you well. Apparently a small house in the beautiful Tuscan suburbs. Inside a mix of modernity and spartan but highly refined taste. A menu with few proposals, better with the "right proposals" (be wary of menus with over 20/30 dishes!) of fusion dishes (I hate using this word, I can't think of another term at the moment...).. here's contaminations of "traditional" raw materials (ravioli, rice, etc.) with exotic products especially oriental. NB: the chef is Tuscan. I don't like butter, but they bring us an exceptional butter with wasabi. And a petit entré of fried cecina with caviar and lemon. As an appetizer... well they are delicious. I won't add anything else. Go there. Ps: recommended by someone who owns a restaurant. Ps2: I forgot. The food must excite. And here I get emotional

11/02/2025: We spent a wonderful weekend in this hotel in the heart of Chianti. A place of peace and relaxation. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was exceptional. Really highly recommended!

22/04/2025: first time in this restaurant, years ago it was a grocery store. honestly I will come back here, the waiting staff who I think was also one of the owners were extremely kind. the menu clearly based on meat and of excellent quality! I decided to try the spaghetti with sausage and puntarelle, and then the fried lamb with artichokes. my daughter started with the prosciutto crudo, and from the first taste it was clearly a handmade and quality product, and then pasta with butter. my wife opted for the artichoke flan and then pappardelle with duck ragù!

02/05/2025: I ordered the Affogato with Pistachio. At €8 this is very expensive, and, in my opinion it is definitely not worth it. Average coffee and average gelato to go with it. I would say it is 100% not worth the long lines if you go later in the day time. The you could get something like this elsewhere without long lines and probably much cheaper. Here you will be paying the instagram influencer hype premium for an average experience I also ate a chocolate croissant however, and this was delicious. Overalll I would not recommend this place. If you really want to try it, then, one should arrive very early soon after opening to avoid the long wait.

01/05/2025: Locale non attrezzato ad accogliere la gran quantità di clienti. Impossibile trovare un posto a sedere al suo interno. Gelato affogato nel caffé buono ma troppo costoso ( 6 euro per una quantită da coppetta piccola, 8 per la stessa quantità al pistacchio é assolutamente deplorevole). Inoltre dover mangiarlo nella tazza da cappuccino, quando i tavoli sono occupati, comporta dover andare per strada, con tazza e piattino in mano, in mezzo ai passanti e senza posto a sedere per poi dover restituire la tazza sia scomodo e stressante, anche perché si rischia di sporcarsi con il caffè. Il gelato senza il caffé é veramente troppo dolce. Consiglio: per chi vuole risparmiare, ordini una coppetta della dimensione che piú preferisce e un caffé da asporto, scavare il gelato con la paletta e versare il caffé al suo interno. Risultato identico a quello di 6 euro ma a un prezzo ragionevole. Per cortesia non spendete 8 euro per la versione al pistacchio perché non vi é alcuna differenza con la versione alla vaniglia in quanto il caffé copre molto il sapore del pistacchio.

02/04/2025: Local with a courtyard both welcoming. You can taste wines both by the glass and in the bottle, even outside those offered on the menu. All accompanied by cutting boards or other alternatives if desired. They also do tasting events by reservation. The owner is a kind and helpful person.

15/04/2025: Beautiful environment inside and wonderful square outside, fresh and refined fish dishes. Very good pizza in both the authentic and fine versions. Amazing sushi! The low price was a real surprise, considering the Florentine standards and considering what we ate and drank!! I will absolutely be back!
