This was our first stop off the plane and we were happy we came! Food, atmosphere, drinks and service are all great.

The whole staff was lovely. Andrea, the owner, was pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. We went for drinks and a snack. We had the gorgonzola, walnut and fig white pizza. To die for!

Worth a visit! Head to the Santo Spirito square at night for a beautiful choice of wonderful restaurants. Borgo Antico had one of the best reviews and did not disappoint. They do serve pizza at night (which is not a given in Florence) and also other trattoria style dishes. We order an appetizer which frankly, would have been enough as a whole dinner. The price was very reasonable too. Good service!

Excellent dinner. Susanna was our helpful and gracious host with excellent recommendations for food and wine. (Get the papardelle/boar ragu!) Delicious pizza. Reasonable prices. Go.

Attractive setting in Piazza Santo Spirito and a very popular place. We had a lunch reservation to sit outside and were glad we did. The starter of sliced tomatoes with anchovies and black olives was nice, and the spaghetti with tiny clams I ordered delicious. My spouse’s ravioli with butter and sage was just lovely!

We went out looking for a restaurant for dinner and found this gem. The carbonara with truffles was heavenly. The service was spot on very attentive and helpful. All of the diners had wonderful looking dishes as well. We sat out in the Piazza which was romantic.

16/03/2024: We didn't know this place and I have to say it was an excellent choice! The dishes are plentiful and truly delicious! The staff were very attentive, kind and friendly! Excellent value for money. I advise!
10/03/2024: For lunch for work, only fish menu... I live on Elba, I would have liked something "land". I decide to trust Moreno, the owner who offers me spaghetti with clams and Sardinian pecorino cheese: something special! Just the right amount of spicy and plenty of clams, I repeat, special. The squash instead of bread is also good, the waitress very nice. Good value for money. To be recommended. P.s. The only downside is that, being a professional driver, unfortunately, I wasn't able to drink a good glass of wine. But it doesn't end here...

Chalet Raticosa

15/03/2024: It is one of the most sacred places in the Apennines for motorcyclists, therefore a Top not to be missed!
14/03/2024: We are a little out of season, but it's nice to know that the Chalet is open. Focaccias and flatbreads are always good. Today however I tried the mixed grill with french fries. Optimal !!! For more, drink and coffee included. Maybe the apple pie should have stayed in the oven another 5 minutes, but it was still good.
