20/04/2025: Really lovely friendly bar, enjoyed an limoncello and Aperol spritz or two. Good prices, good olives, would visit again :)

27/03/2025: We had it below the hostel and it seemed like a good option for a quick drink! We chose to have Aperol Spritz and did quite well. Small but set!

09/04/2025: this restaurant was recommended to us by our airbnb host, and we’re very glad we went! the parking can be a little tricky but the lady working there graciously moved her car so we could park in front of the restaurant. the service was wonderful and she brought us aperitivo on the house! the food was very good and the desserts were amazing. after dinner she even brought us limoncello without us asking. it was very quiet in the restaurant which was unfortunate as it was very good, but it’s probably busier in the summer. the prices were very reasonable as well. if you find yourself in montespertoli or area i suggest you choose this restaurant for your dinner :)

06/04/2025: Cozy place, the owner Massimiliano (as well as chef) and his partner who takes care of the tables are two very kind and always smiling people. The food is of excellent quality and cooked with attention to detail and above all with love.

16/04/2025: Great atmosphere and service. They played French jazz in the background with candles on the table, very romantic. We got the preset meals at $55 euro per person. Antipasta and first dish were good. Pork chop was ok, dessert was ok. I would say over priced for the quality of food that was delivered. Also… there was a strange grumpy old man in an orange jacket roaming the restaurant all night that killed the vibe at times.

We not only found peace, relaxation and delicious food in this little paradise, but also warm hosts and a beautiful, lovingly furnished apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. 11/02/2025: I returned to them after not going for about a year. They renovated the place. Now there is a room with tables, a new counter and a display of products such as pasta and first courses and side dishes that wasn't there before. The girls are still phenomenal as always but the environment has lost that authenticity it had before as a neighborhood "shop". Now it resembles one of the many more modern foods. Unfortunately, the tortilla with oil is now very thin and not as crunchy as it used to be. Prices have increased significantly (like everywhere else). €9 for a slice of stuffing and a triangle of cooked flatbread seems like a lot to me, especially considering the neighborhood. They have certainly expanded the product offering but I was fond of those "few but good" ones from a few years ago. However, I will still go back to the girls as soon as I can.

03/04/2025: Frequentiamo spesso la Birroteca perché oltre alla vasta scelta di birre c'è sempre qualche gruppo che suona. Stavolta però si sono superati: beer-aperitivo per le nostre nozze! Birra, spritz e prosecco in un ambiente informale, come sentirsi a casa con amici. Proprietari sempre simpatici e disponibili. Grazie!

29/12/2024: A Empoli per seguire il Genoa, dopo la partita andiamo in centro, cercando su TripAdvisor “i migliori pub e bar a Empoli”: sono 6, il numero 1 (Brunz) è chiuso definitivamente, il 2 e il 3 aprono molto tardi, 4,5 e 6 sono imbarazzanti, percui ci avviamo nel centro di Empoli, nella pedonale Via Ridolfi, e finiamo per caso in questo piccolo pub, e veniamo sorpresi da una ottima scelta di birre artigianali toscane, tanta cortesia, ed un atmosfera gioviale ed aperta. Da visitare, ma non potete classificarlo come “Ristorante”..

15/01/2025: Un posto semplice dove gustare una cucina genuina a prezzi onesti. La sala, in stile toscano, può contenere il giusto numero di persone, senza risultare eccessivamente affollata. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, piatti genuini e semplici, ricevendo un servizio amichevole e gentile. Abbiamo assaggiato, essendo in diversi, molte pietanze: Affettati, la loro carne, i primi, tutto di buona qualità. L'unica cosa che ho gradito meno sono stati i tortelli mugellani, che solitamente in zona sono fatti decisamente meglio sia come pasta che ripieno, ma comunque godibili. Ci tornerò molto volentieri
