24/08/2024: Excellent food, tasty, good portions, delicious wine (we took ravioli with truffle, tagliata with truffle, desserts, antipasti: muchello cheese and soft cheese) excellent service (the hostess runs around and serves with all her heart). I recommend 👍

17/08/2024: Small, unpretentious family-run restaurant. We had lunch with two good and abundant first courses. Nearby tables were served steaks and cuts which looked decidedly inviting. Excellent value for money.

26/08/2024: They brought me some sandwich looking like mini club sandwich with mediocre ham and cheese with potato on side, which was saying prosciutto and cheese on the menu and I did not expect fries at all as it was supposed to be breakfast .

04/08/2024: I’ve no idea why this place is only 4.1. I’d leave 6 stars if I could. First, it has the atmosphere that puts you at ease, the quintessentially Italian way. I took a small table by the door on a quiet Sunday evening, with a wonderful view. Being the only non-Italian there made it even more special. It’s a place where elderly couples come for dinner, fathers meet sons, families come by and say a familiar “hi” to the owner and staff, folks from around the corner pick up their pizzas. The place felt one of the most local I’ve visited in Italy. Such a contrast to the rest of Florence centre. Second, the food. 10/10. Wild boar pasta and tiramisu - unforgettable. I have the feeling the rest of the menu is superb too. All at completely reasonable prices. Third - service. Top-notch but unpretentious. Attentive, fast, friendly. So happy I came across it by chance, and definitely would come back!

02/08/2024: Very good restaurant! We went on the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel and we liked it so much that we went again the next day and had dinner there again. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. And what to say about the tiramisu... out of 10! Plus the prices are quite reasonable.

20/06/2024: We went on a Wednesday when they only do aperitifs… basically fill your plate with an assortment of food for €5. Which is fine and we figured it was a cool concept with student chefs. I was disappointed that none of the food was kept warm and at times tasted stale (ie cold pizza). Didn’t understand why it was even served/sold to guests like that. Perhaps worth a try on other days.

15/05/2024: Siamo stati a cena in 7 persone, abbiamo preso 7 menù degustazione, semplicemente ottimo. Camerieri gentilissimi, portate espressione dei loro studi, curate e saporite ad un prezzo molto buono. Quattro su cinque all'ambiente, solo perchè è un po' piccolo, ma forse è meglio così, i ragazzi possono curare con maggior cura i piatti che propongono.

25/06/2024: We discovered it almost by accident and now we love it. Excellent food at super honest prices, informal but attentive service. The staff is always available to give you advice on the preparation of the dishes, thanks to them we make homemade seitan which is really good. Inside you can buy a large variety of organic food products. Highly recommended!

02/05/2024: Awesome veggie restaurant with an eco shop. The ladies were absolutely lovely and food light, healthy and delicious. Cute resident doggie 😊

29/06/2024: We were passing through and had already heard a lot about this hotel. All of our expectations were exceeded. The team is without exception warm, attentive and open-minded. We had a normal standard double room and were more than thrilled with the storage space our room had. In the evening we visited the hotel's own restaurant and were thrilled with the dishes we ordered. (The T-bone steak and the fillet with truffle and parmesan are highly recommended!) From the terrace where we sat to eat you could look out onto a meadow where there were 4 donkeys. The view is fantastically beautiful even without the donkeys, as is the entire complex, including the pool, surrounded by greenery. Since we started our departure at night, we were given a bag of goodies and drinks for the way. We can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Rigacci. Our dog also felt very comfortable.

29/06/2024: It was a wonderful overnight stay in the superior room. The villa has retained its rustic and cozy charm from old times, but offers modern comfort and optimal equipment in the rooms and the complex.

13/08/2024: What a surprise! A family type restaurant lost in the middle of nowhere, but with an hint of Italian glamour. Very nice and spacious outdoor patio, with a countryside atmosphere. The menu includes both pizzas as well as traditional dishes from Tuscany. We had tortelli mugellani (potato filling) with duck ragu and a "cotoletta" (veil fried) with roasted potatos. Home made dessert (tiramisù and a typical "zuppa inglese"). Familiar and kind service, fair price. All in all very good dinner.

08/08/2024: A few days ago we went to this little restaurant/pizzeria in Paterno di Vaglia (FI). All really good, super friendly managers and a place with outdoor tables, always kissed by a pleasant fresh air.

01/08/2024: What can I say except that their pizzas are divine. Everything is good and local. The flavors are fabulous and multiple on the same pizza. Small downside on the paid bottle of still water, but French deformation obliges.. But the staff is great. If you have to have a pizzeria in Florence even if it's a Neapolitan pizzeria!!

01/08/2024: It’s not complicated, it’s the best pizza of my life! I had an eggplant parmesan pizza, incredible. I couldn't finish it because it was so filling, and that's a crime!

23/08/2024: I was expecting something more Shocking!! But ok, for a wine in hand and for fun it's perfect! Florence has much better things to do!!! The glasses are plastic and there is an extra charge if you want to take them with you! Otherwise you leave them there!!

17/08/2024: I ordered the Macaroni with courgettes and pecorino, & the Grilled sliced ​​beef with rosemary and Volterra salt. Absolutely delicious! The stake was cooked sooo good. The salt flakes were very nice with the rosemary. Best steak I’ve had. And the macaroni was fresh and full of flavor. A very peaceful dining area and very kind people. We were here for about 2 hours and enjoyed our time. Best food, sad to finish it.

17/08/2024: Had a wonderful experience eating dinner here. We were looking for a high quality meal and that’s what we got! I ordered the two dishes in the picture. Both were amazing and I highly recommend them.

23/07/2024: Le pizzerie a Grassina vanno e vengono.... Ma Jimmy rimane sempre!!! La sua pizza sottile e digeribile è una garanzia.... e anche tutto il resto, tutta roba buona a prezzi onesti. Loro sono simpatici e alla mano, il locale è bello e accogliente. Fanno anche servizio a domicilio. Che si vole di più? Per noi, i migliori a Grassina!
