15/05/2025: ZEROCALCARE signing sessions. He and the publisher Bao are very nice and punctual. Only one star instead for the organization of the event by the bookstore. Divided into 3 steps: drawing 15.00-18.00, 18.00-19.00 talk, 19.30-24.00 signing session. I leave home at 6.50, train and off I go, I arrive at 7.40 and I am 63rd in line (a gentleman contacted us 3 times), opening at 9 and delivery of the passes (bracelets) with a number written on them. They say that for the 1st step there are only 75 passes, I'll go back!! but when it's my turn they're already sold out 🤔 (I'm 15 and I'm ashamed to do myself justice), I'm the 6th excluded so I have to settle for the signing session. I feel bad😩, I get angry😡, I repress it thinking that the important thing will be to meet him. I enter school in 3rd period, I go out, I eat a sandwich on the fly and at 2pm I get back in line outside the library for the 6pm talk. At 4pm everyone stands, otherwise "we'll take up too much space" says one of the security guards. Finally I go in and enjoy the chat. They say NOW EVERYONE OUT AND WHO HAS A PASS FOR THE FIRMADILLO GET IN LINE FOR THE TIME GROUPS WRITTEN ON THE BRACELET. I go out, convinced that I will return almost immediately since I am number 6 in the first group, and here is another injustice, the line (60 people per hour) has already formed while the talk was taking place, I am second to last... My mother has joined me, worried about the time of returning to the train, she argues with the 2 security "gorillas" who do not enforce the order of the numbers assigned in the morning, the response of one of them is I DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT THE NUMBER. I am back inside to meet him, finally, even if I am the last one in the third time I have been in line since this morning. I look at the time and if everything goes well we will be able to take the 9.14 train and return home by 10pm... the director of the bookstore arrives and takes me by the hand and makes me climb among the first, perhaps she has understood that something has gone wrong? I thank her, but this is just not right, 3 times in line despite the numbered bracelet. What should be security, of indecent rudeness. I arrive home at 9 pm, very tired but still happy. Because to get justice you have to raise your voice, why?

11/09/2025: Worst experience we’ve had by FAR in Italy. Where do I even start. It was despicable. We were 4 people sitting outside. I took short pasta (they bring me the wrong plate at first, I started eating 15 minutes after everyone). My friend took the lamb. The worst dish of his life. I couldn’t finish the bite. the sauce was despicable. The worst thing I ever tasted. I thew my bite out in a napkin. Couldn’t finish it. The sauce tasted old stuff, we still talk about it in the car on the way home. It was absolutely awful. My fiancé and her sister took the risotto. It was just yellow rice, almost Uncle Ben’s rice from the US. When my pasta finally came, it was as if I made them. And god knows I don’t know a thing about cooking. The sauce was just not good and the pasta were overcooked. I simply couldn’t believe we were eating these meal in Tuscany. Unbelievable. After 3 bites of my plate, we decided to leave. Our plates were full. My friend tried his best to eat the lamb, but the sauce was just unbearable. I’ve got the taste in my mouth as I’m writing these lines. We obviously paid, but truthfully, that was an absolute horror of a night. I absolutely don’t recommend this restaurant, as beautiful as it may seem from the outside.

28/08/2025: Lunch on weekdays they work until 15.00 which is an undoubted plus. There are quite a lot of people. The food is simple, rustic, tasty.

01/08/2025: A very nice and well-maintained place surrounded by greenery, and everyone is very friendly. We also enjoyed the pool with bar service, excellent dinner, and breakfast outdoors.

12/07/2025: We love Villa Rigacci. We have stayed here 5 times now since 2019. It has become our home away from home. We stayed 9 days this time and really enjoyed our meals, staff, room and services. Everyone was great. The VR staff went above and beyond for a birthday party we planned for 2 friends. We really appreciated their support and all they did for us. Grazie mille to all the staff at Villa Rigacci. We will probably be back next year.

08/09/2025: We spent (unfortunately only) two nights at this beautiful resort in Tuscany. We felt welcome and appreciated from the very first moment. The breakfast was exceptionally good, with freshly prepared coffee, cappuccino, etc. Our room (deluxe) was a great size and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The complex is very well maintained and offers comfort and security. The pool area has plenty of loungers and offers an incredible view. There is also ample parking. We would return without hesitation if we ever visit the region again.

08/07/2025: Very beautiful, very well maintained, nature - relaxation, the staff is the best of what we have seen! The restaurant and food are top notch, the only minor minus I can point out is the 400 meter driveway on a dirt road! A gorgeous place where we will definitely return! Thank you

19/08/2025: I walked here from the city center just to drink a cup of affordable coffee. Two cups of cappuccino cost 3.6 euros, and one cup cost a few euros. It is much more affordable than the city center. You can choose to drink it outside or inside. It is cooler outside.

20/05/2025: We went to Lazy, for the first time, one evening at the end of April, with friends. We ate EXCELLENT pinsa. The beers are very good and the service is 10. We had a great time and in fact we're going back on Thursday.

15/08/2025: Excellent spot off the beaten path. We got there half an hour before opening and they kindly let us come and sit on the shaded patio. Nice people, gorgeous views, no crowds, and delicious food.

29/07/2025: Los espaguetis fueron quizás los mejores que he probado. IT fue su especial ese día. Estoy muy contenta de IT. Rebecca era mi servidor y ella era tan dulce y me hizo sentir tan bienvenido e hizo una gran comida aún mejor. Desearía vivir aquí para poder ir todo el tiempo.

26/07/2025: Een prachtig plekje in een smal staatje langs de muren van het kasteel. Heel sfeervol. Ontzettend vriendelijke service, kindvriendelijk, hondvriendelijk en het eten is heerlijk. Alles is vers en biologisch en elke dag is er een nieuwe variatie aan zoete versnaperingen van crustata tot pannecotte. Heerlijke lunchkaart, de bruchettas zijn verrukkelijk. Echt de moeite waard om even in de schaduw te genieten van het Italiaanse leven met een windje door je haar. Goede prijzen.

13/08/2025: We had a nice meal outside. Being American, we weren't used to smokers but the food made up for it.

12/08/2025: There were five of us at an outdoor table next to the flowerbed, with a beautiful view, which doesn't hurt. The tables were well-set. The wait was just right. The fish first course was good. The pizzas were very good and finally cooked well, not dry or watery. The desserts were good, without any reinterpretations. Finally, the portions were good. Friendly staff. A lovely evening. We'll be back. I recommend it.

11/07/2025: The hidden location on Via Pistoiese might be misleading, but I think they make the best burgers in Florence, and the handmade fries are fantastic too.
