05/03/2026: This huge, sprawling outdoor market is extremely famous for selling tons of different leather goods. Tourists have a lot of fun walking down the busy rows of tents and bargaining with the sellers for colorful bags, warm jackets, and nice belts. It is a very loud and active place! Just be completely ready to shop around, compare prices, and practice your negotiating skills so you can make sure you find the absolute best deals before you spend your money.

19/03/2026: Nice restaurant close to the entrance of Funicolare to Certaldo Aldo.
Reasonable prices and good food. Pappardelle and Pici were excellent. Very friendly lady serving us and we felt welcomed. When we were there no tourists just local guests which is usually a good sign.
15/02/2026: A restaurant in the main square of Certaldo Basso! Very cute both inside and out! The staff was very attentive and courteous! We came for both lunch and dinner! We were truly satisfied! Everything was delicious and even better! I highly recommend it if you happen to be in Certaldo!
P.S.: The nice thing is that they welcomed us even though we had two dogs; the waitress came right over with a bowl of water for the dogs!
It's a shame they can only give it 5 stars! I would have given it at least double.

27/01/2026: We came here for a drink with friends. Great for wine, staff is very friendly and they brought us a little bit of snacks for aperitif (included with the wine). The place is quite small so the seats are not many, I would recommend booking.
07/01/2026: Although it's been a couple of years since I visited, I just had to leave a review. Looking for somewhere to eat after arriving at our accommodation from the airport, we stumbled upon this bar. We ordered a sandwich with baked zucchini and other delicious ingredients, which was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. To drink, I ordered a Negroni and my wife an Aperol Spritz. We absolutely loved both drinks. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and we even met someone from the area. Every time we went (almost every night), we bumped into him and chatted. We're planning to return to Florence, and of course, we'll be back to this bar!

28/02/2026: This restaurant has a long history, and my experience truly lived up to its reputation: the best Florentine steak I've ever eaten! The other dishes were also very thoughtful and attentive. The waiters carefully reminded us of portion sizes, and every detail of the service was meticulously attended to. Even though this is a popular restaurant that requires advance reservations, they didn't skimp on service! I believe their business will continue to thrive! 👍

15/12/2025: We discovered this place in 2023 during our first visit of Firenze and we simply knew that we have to come back. So we did and it was the perfect last evening of our trip. Everything simple yet sophisticated. Amazing sea food and fish, great wine and the service are making this place unforgettable and we are looking forward to our 3rd visit soon!
