22/03/2025: The environment has always remained as it did years ago, during the summer months it is also possible to stay outside to dine or drink (many tables) always beautiful sandwiches filled with ingredients and excellent beers, I especially recommend pulled pork and burgers of all kinds

07/04/2025: Pizzeria restaurant located in the Signa station square. The clean and well-kept room appears to be a little dated. I ate some really delicious culurgiones with gorgonzola and smoked bacon. Excellent and attentive service. The bill is correct.

31/03/2025: Honest inexpensive cuisine. The prices are fair, both for the pizzas and the other dishes and the wine bottles. The service is friendly and attentive to the guest. Lots of local guests. My food was good without being sparkling. The tagliata with gorgonzola was chewy! I liked it, even though everything was simple.

05/05/2025: The pasta was absolutely delicious, really tasty and well prepared. However, water glasses are used for the house wine, which I didn't appreciate. Having said that, I'll stress again: the pasta is truly excellent!

05/05/2025: When we walked by Ristorante Borgo Antico, we saw a number of people enjoying pizza and it looked good. We decided to sit down and see what the pizza was like. We first ordered caprese salad and 2 Aperol Spritzes. The drinks and salad came quite quickly. The tomatoes in the salad were not ripe but the cheese and balsamic vinegar made the salad taste ok. The drinks were not stirred and came without straws so we had to use our forks to stir them. Service after this was very slow and we waited quite a while with empty glasses before our server came by again. When she did, we ordered 2 pizzas (Naples and Sausage) and 2 glasses of house wine. When the wine came it was warm - warmer than mouth temperature. When the pizzas came they were not sliced and were soggy. Only one side of the pizza crusts was toasted and it was obvious that neither of the pizzas were rotated in the wood oven. The anchovies on the Naples pizza were disgustingly fishy and not cooked. We only had 1 bite from two pieces from the Naples pizza after having to cut up the pizzas ourselves. The Sausage pizza was soggy but edible. We sat at our table waiting for our server to check in on us but they didn’t. We looked over and saw that she was chatting with someone not paying attention to the tables. Meanwhile the lady at the table next to us sparked up a cigarette and smoke wafted toward us. Moments later a gentleman at another adjacent table lit up as well and we were engulfed in disgusting cigarette smoke. Stomachs turned, I finally waved over our server. We told her that the Naples pizza was not good (we only had 1 bite) and that neither pizza was properly cooked. She apologized and offered us a limoncello but we declined and said we just wanted to leave. She brought us the cheque and to our surprise they not only charged us full price for the pizza but also a €7 cover charge. The bill for 2 Aperol spritzes, 2 glasses of house wine and 2 pizzas was €82!!! A complete ripoff. Bad food, poor service and overpriced. Stay away. Instead go next door to the Gusto restaurant. The food there is way better and the service is fantastic!

25/04/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant convinced by the positive reviews. A total disappointment. The Giudia artichoke was as hard as a stone. I asked for a well-cooked cut but it was a tasteless ember. The two salads contained so few leaves that you could count them. The rare Florentine steak is very tough. Not recommended.

13/04/2025: I had dinner last night with friends but despite the environment creating a quiet atmosphere inside the restaurant there were tables that were shouting and although they were also reported to the restaurant nothing has changed. Dinner ruined due to the terrible manners of the diners and it is not acceptable that the restaurant intervenes on these episodes. I won't be returning.

On the veranda there was a group of 20 children for a 12 year old birthday and then a group of teenagers next to an unfortunate group of seventy year olds. The patrons, all incredibly crowded, with an incredible noise. Mediocre pizza. It can be improved...

26/04/2025: Este restaurante nos lo recomendaron unos amigos. Tuvimos una noche encantadora. El servicio era un poco lento pero muy ocupado ambiente y las camareras hablaban inglés. Los asientos están muy juntos, algo apretados. Pedimos el filete de hueso T recomendado, que es una especialidad de esta región. Llegó muy raro, a mi hija le gusta así pero prefiero bien - hecho así que la camarera estaba feliz de tomar la mitad de nuevo a la cocina para cocinar más. Una velada agradable. Mi única respuesta sería que los cuchillos dados eran completamente romos, por lo que era realmente difícil cortar el filete. Curiosamente, el caballero de la mesa de al lado había comprado su propio cuchillo, así que debió saberlo.

28/04/2025: Excellent place right in the heart of Florence! Delicious food and excellent service! We were surprised by Don Máximo who served us very well and with the cordiality of a gentleman. I definitely recommend Osteria de Peccatori for lunch or dinner!
