17/03/2026: Well, this is my third time at Piero's, so I think I can give you an informed opinion. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, both inside and outside, in a covered gazebo. Air conditioning inside ensures good comfort, while the outside shade is provided by a cover and side screens. The furnishings are minimal but decidedly well-designed for the quality of the place. Let's get to the dishes: 1) spaghetti allo scoglio (spaghetti with seafood), it's been ages since I've had such delicious seafood spaghetti, so much so that I'd even eaten the same dish at Michelin-starred restaurants in the Viareggio area. 2) spaghetti with smoked salmon and zucchini, a delight, with top-quality salmon and slightly crunchy zucchini, a true explosion of flavor. 3) lampredotto with salsa verde (lampredotto with green sauce), literally devoured. For those who don't mind this type of meat, this is a must-try dish, with an exceptionally balanced green sauce and the overall flavor of a gourmet dish. 4) the puff pastry with cream, I can't tell you what else, you'll find it better in one pastry shop out of twenty! 5) the coffee, aka the sore point of many restaurants... well... here you can ALSO enjoy a coffee as the gods command!!!! And what about the bill? Prices are decidedly very, very reasonable. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I love this place and will definitely visit again as soon as I can. Finally, don't miss a visit to Antica Trattoria da Piero.

06/02/2026: My wife and I had lunch at this small restaurant in Pietrasanta during a visit to the town. Bar a Vins is a very small restaurant whose strong points are its excellent cuisine, the owner's exceptional kindness, and the intimate atmosphere. The menu features both traditional Tuscan-Versilian dishes and specialty items depending on availability. We opted for the excellent cod with chickpeas and Chianti tuna. The final price was in line with expectations.

14/03/2026: We stopped for pizza here given its proximity to the Mandela Forum, especially after seeing the positive reviews. We were warmly welcomed and ordered two pizzas and a covaccino with Nutella to follow. The dough was very good and easy to digest. The prices are fair, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We'll definitely revisit it if we're in the area in the future!

29/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for a birthday party. There were 25 of us, and everything was perfect. The location is very charming, nestled in the Suvereto countryside and just steps from the Petra winery. Since there were a lot of people, we opted for a €36 menu, which included: - a meat appetizer, cured meats, and crostini with chicken livers and sauce, all very good. - tortelli with sauce, which despite there being a lot of people, were good, although a little overcooked, so the pasta fell apart. - a magnificent and flavorful crouton of pork and roast potatoes. - a selection of homemade desserts, biscotti, and vin santo. - wine, water, and amaro were also included, which they left on the table. Overall, the experience was excellent. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and I especially want to compliment the waitress in the green sweater. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but the service was quick and we were well looked after. They changed our cutlery or brought it back for us after each course. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos, but I highly recommend going there.

03/05/2026: The best pasta I had in Florence, on a quaint sidewalk in the city. The pappardelle with mushrooms and the tiramisu were outstanding, and the service was incredible. I would recommend it to any friend traveling here.

Gracious staff and creative recipes prepared perfectly in a beautiful setting are what distinguish Osteria Nova from my other top picks in Lucca.

The service was exceptional! The young, friendly staff were attentive, making us feel right at home. 11/04/2026: If you want to eat something truly special, this shack is a must-see. Here, the lampredotto isn't just food: it's an experience. Soft, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served with that green sauce that makes you want more. The tripe is simply spectacular: rich, fragrant, and with a flavor that speaks of true tradition, made with care and passion. And then the boiled meat... incredible. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the kind that makes you close your eyes at the first bite. Each dish is prepared with care, and it shows: here, they don't mess around, they really eat.

19/04/2026: Very good and creamy gelato, with often-changing, unique and sophisticated flavors. The price is a bit high, but the quality is very good.
