05/08/2024: We had dinner at this small but delightful restaurant after booking several days in advance. Family-run restaurant with a refined menu that recalls the flavors of the past. Daniele, an excellent host, presented the dishes to us with elegance and competence; we are truly spoiled for choice because there are so many dishes and combinations of flavors that we didn't know about and that we would have been curious to try. All the products are homemade, including pasta, and the exceptional nature of the dishes, combined with the great hospitality, made us feel at home. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

22/08/2024: First outing in Florence during our stay, and we were absolutely not disappointed, the portions are copious and at a very respectable price, the ingredients are tasty, the service is fast and very friendly, and everything was delicious. mouth on the map. The atmosphere is also very cozy, and makes you want to come back soon!

08/08/2024: Good restaurant in the center of Barga. I use quality products with a predilection for those from the area. I haven't been here for years and I must say that I found it improved.

01/08/2024: I was in this restaurant on August 1st, very nice place, very kind staff. We were with dogs including a German shepherd, no problem and I was welcomed with joy and compliments. Excellent menu, superb desserts. Thank you!

16/08/2024: Stylish, trendy vibe. We had a light but exceptional lunch as we needed to promptly get to the Galleria dell’Accademia. We ordered the Bruchetta and Hamburger with mushrooms and lard. Both were fresh and delicious. The only thing missing from the bruschetta was a bit of garlic and salt otherwise excellent.

14/08/2024: Good service and an excellent welcome, we had some very good ravioli with beef ragù and a truly delicious Florentine “Chianina” steak. Our friendly and polite waiter responded to our needs excellently! We had a great time and even our little dog who accompanied us was at ease with the nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Recommended, we will be back

19/08/2024: Very beautiful and romantic setting given the dinner with a table on the sand by the sea. Good mixed seafood starter. Excellent and tasty mussel pepper, fresh mussels. Very good frying. Linguine with clams good although not special. Overall, above average food, environment and service. Top dish: mussels.

03/09/2024: They were closing in 30 minutes and Arlond (not sure how to spell) still sat us and even offered dessert he was quick and efficient. Gave us some limoncello of course. The filet with berry sauce was incredible, perfectly cooked medium rare wonderful char on the outside. It had this musky earthy flavor that was unique but very tasty. The torteloni with pear and pecorino was so balanced with salt and sweet and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was unbelievable the bread crumbs were soft and soaked up the perfect Caesar dressing and it was dressed perfectly. The music and atmosphere were perfect for dinner we can’t wait to come back.

19/08/2024: Good place for a quick lunch in Volterra. Having eaten takeaway I don't have many words to say about the service but I can say that our sandwiches were prepared quickly. The sandwiches were very good and quite large, there were many customization possibilities and they included unusual ingredients for this type of place. Good quality/price ratio.

22/06/2024: I visited this restaurant 2 years ago and I was so amazed that I still talk about it and place it among the best places I've ever eaten. And in fact after two years, I find myself reviewing it. The cooked dishes were exceptional both in terms of plating and flavor. The raw materials were of extraordinary quality. The service was very attentive and Alessandro, the host, welcomed and pampered us as if we were at home. If I'm not mistaken it had only recently opened, there were very few reviews and I think Alessandro himself confirmed it... it was a great discovery. I hope to return to Chianciano soon to return to this place!

12/08/2024: In Florence, I got super lucky in that Santa Elisabetta was a 5 min walk from my hotel, and that they had reservations available the next day for lunch, so I booked a table for one. The restaurant is located in a tiny space (just 6 tables) within a 13th century stone tower. There was only one other person in the restaurant during the entire duration of my meal - which meant that both my server and the 'overall server' were pretty focused on us the entire time. My server even escorted me up to the restaurant once I arrived at the location. I don't mean to sound too hyperbolic, but it feels like I ascended to a higher plane of existence when it comes to dining. I ordered the Carte Blanche option, which was a 3 course tasting menu of whatever the chef chose from the main dishes. The meal consisted of 7 separate sections, each with their specific parts. Firstly, it started with an amuse bouche, which consisted of 5 separate small dishes - there was chicken liver, prawn, oysters, and so on. It was in this very first meal that I realized I was going to have a meal that far exceeded the quality of anything that I've had before. Next, the bread came out, and this bread was just astounding. I was seeing types of bread I've never seen before. My favorite part of this was what looks like the focaccia, with lardo on top. The first main course was raw red prawns and caviar. It was my first time trying caviar, which I absolutely loved Next came what might be the best food I've had in my life - a spaghetti made with 3 different types of algae butter, and sea urchins. I can't even describe how good this pasta was - from the noodles, to the meat, to the natural, earthy flavors Before dessert, there was a mood cleanser of hibiscus tea and chocolate mousse. Dessert consisted of yogurt froth, kiwi, and namaleka, and was so good it exceeded a melt-in-your-mouth feeling. I thought I was done at this point, but they brought out another set of 5 smaller pastries - compliments of the pastry chef. These included a pistachio cream lollipop, french biscuits, madeleine, and more The cost of the Carte Blanche that I ordered was 159 euros, and I also got a glass of champagne for 25 euros I spent over 2 hours at this restaurant - way longer than I thought it would actually be. Like I said, this was my first fine dining experience of any kind, so I really had no idea what to expect. I was absolutely blown away by this experience and consider it to be 100% worth the money. For me - this felt like every single part of this experience was perfect. Everything I ate here was a massive step above any food I've had in the past. The quality is unreal. The variety is unparalleled. There are ingredients used here that I've never seen before - and stuff I didn't even know was edible. The amount of different food I got to try was like nothing I've experienced before. I left the restaurant incredibly full and completely satisfied Overall, this is an all-time experience. 10/10

12/06/2024: Abbiamo cenato fuori, bella atmosfera, forse un po' rumoroso per il traffico. Personale come sempre gentilissimo e preparato che ci ha ben consigliato. Cibo delizioso e ben presentato. Anche il conto ben in linea con quanto mangiato. In sintesi una bella serata.

05/06/2024: Non mi stancherò mai di dire bene di questo posto. La cura e la passione che LO CHEF e Nadin mettono nei piatti e nell'accoglienza è ciò che li distingue dal resto. Qualità altissima, porzioni abbondanti, tutto preparato con amore, come a casa!
