04/11/2025: Amazing ambience, great service and food make us come back every year for the last 3 years. The staff is very kind and flexible with vegan options, which is not common in the area. Best dessert I’ve ever tried and great wine selection. Make sure to make a reservation. Parking available right outside or along the alley to the right of the restaurant.

31/10/2025: Great food, friendly staff. The place is a bit pricey but doable. Even our 7 yo son enjoyed his gnocchi. However, absence of any non-sparkling soft drinks (except for water) was a surprise for such a high class facility.

04/10/2025: Dining at this restaurant was a wonderful experience!! Excellent service, a very charming venue located inside a medieval tower, and superlative quality food. We ordered porcini mushrooms as appetizers, Sicilian broccoli with almonds and stracciatella cheese. For main courses, we ordered sliced ​​beef with baked potatoes and duck breast with grape sauce and potato millefeuille. For sides, we had spinach sautéed in garlic, oil, and chili pepper. Finally, desserts included dark chocolate tart and kebab with prickly pear jam. A vast selection of wines. Highly recommended.

15/10/2025: I am leaving a review for the restaurant, we did not stay there. The restaurant was one off the highlights of the trip for us, so excellent. The food was amazing, the service was great and the view was put of this world We had lunch there- the gnocchi was amazing, and the wild boar pasta was so delicious. Even the kids pasta with ragout was delicious. I would definitely recommend.

10/10/2025: We ate at the restaurant, so I can only review that one. The service was very friendly, and everything was really quick. The food was also delicious. The side salad was a bit lacking in love, and overall, it felt a little lacking in 5 stars. But you can eat well there and enjoy the evening!

02/11/2025: We ate here three times. The service was always very friendly, cheerful, and attentive. In addition to the regular menu items, there are always special dishes. We chose from these twice, and they were also excellent. The portions are huge; one first course followed by a second course each is more than enough for two people. The value for money is superb.

I believe the location, the dining room where a wonderful lunch or dinner is served, and the dishes themselves speak volumes even more than the reviews themselves. Book and enjoy something unique. Kudos not only to the chef, who, by listening to his guests' preferences, can take you on a unique culinary journey, but especially to the staff, both in the dining room and, above all, in the kitchen. The location strikes a perfect balance between rustic and elegant, with thoughtful details that reflect a deep appreciation for both tradition and contemporary comfort. The service was excellent throughout the entire meal. The staff were warm and attentive, striking just the right tone – always available, but never overbearing. It’s clear that hospitality here is taken seriously, and that every guest is made to feel welcome and relaxed. We were offered a tasting menu personally curated by the chef, and it was an exceptional journey through refined and creative cuisine. The menu included a variety of intriguing elements: delicate raw fish, a luxurious truffle and potato combination, perfectly cooked linguine enriched with miso, followed by bold proteins like bison, suckling pig, and quail. Each dish showcased a clear culinary vision – combining high-quality ingredients with modern technique and thoughtful presentation. Most of the courses stood out for their originality and flavor. The raw fish dish was fresh and balanced, the truffle and potato pairing offered an indulgent yet refined start, – a fusion of umami and elegance. There are some great Tuscan restaurants in Lucca (amidst a sea of mediocre ones).. when you’ve had your fill of pasta put Grammofono on your schedule..it’s small and quiet. A little soft jazz to soothe your frazzled nerves. Don’t try to put a label on their style. Just enjoy Chef Clara’s inventive expressions..Constantino and his helpful assistant will see to your every need. A refreshing respite from the crowds. Don’t walk on by (but a reservation would be in order).

The service was very professional, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner personally spoke to every guest, which felt truly genuine. The food was excellent — a kind of fusion cuisine, not the typical Italian dishes, which was a refreshing change after a few days of pizza and pasta. All in all, a very charming restaurant, run by a lovely couple, and highly recommended!

22/10/2025: It's close to the square, and I visited on a rainy day, but the atmosphere was great. We visited many places during our three days in Florence, but this place was perfect for my wife and me in terms of both taste and service. The servers were friendly and approachable, so we had no issues. The risotto and lasagna were both excellent. The lasagna wasn't the type Koreans are familiar with, with lots of noodles and sauce, but rather a meaty, rich flavor.

15/10/2025: Very good regional dishes. There's also a German menu, but you should order the Italian one. The dishes in German are different than you'd expect. Luckily, we had a local with us who explained everything to us.
