15/11/2025: The food is already good in Italy, but when you mention Tuscany, the bar is raised, and recommending a place means they've somehow broken the mold. Il Grammofono does just that: fresh flavors and high quality. Three menu options per section change monthly. If we lived in Lucca, we'd come and try it every month.

29/10/2025: This is a gem not to be missed. There are some great Tuscan restaurants in Lucca (amidst a sea of mediocre ones).. when you’ve had your fill of pasta put Grammofono on your schedule..it’s small and quiet. A little soft jazz to soothe your frazzled nerves. Don’t try to put a label on their style. Just enjoy Chef Clara’s inventive expressions..Constantino and his helpful assistant will see to your every need. A refreshing respite from the crowds. Don’t walk on by (but a reservation would be in order).

02/12/2025: I had such a great time at Osteria de Cicalini doing their tiramisu class. The chef Lend was warm, fun, and explained everything so clearly. The class was hands-on, relaxed, and filled with great tips — and the tiramisu we made was incredible. A really memorable and delicious experience. Highly recommend!

Our chef Lend was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly fun, guiding us through each step with clear instructions and great humor. The experience was hands-on and engaging, and we loved learning the little tips and secrets that make authentic tiramisu so delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it easy to enjoy the process as much as the final dessert. And yes—the tiramisu we made was absolutely fabulous! 10/12/2025: You absolutely must go here. This isn't a review event, but the owner is incredibly kind. If the steak is too expensive, they also have a semi-steak option! The lasagna, arugula steak, and raspberry tiramisu are delicious! The owner is also incredibly kind. ❤️

09/12/2025: The owner was so kind. He waved at me from the moment I walked in. I ordered the 800g carbonara and T-bone steak, and they were much more delicious than the Dalosx I had the day before. I'm not sure if they cook the pasta extra well because I'm Korean, but they cook it to the same level as Korean noodles, and the portion was larger than I expected. After I finished, he asked if I wanted dessert and gave it to me as a gift. They don't charge a table fee here, but they automatically add a service tip, so I think the dessert price is a bit high. However, the tiramisu was really delicious. The tip was included, and the service was great. Oh, by the way, we ordered rare, but instead of the hot stone plate, I think medium-rare or medium would have been more appropriate. It was a pleasant ending to my last night in Florence.

09/11/2025: This inn was a gem on our trip to discover Tuscany. It immediately strikes you with its location, its breathtaking view, and the tranquility that reigns. The staff was super kind and helpful, suggesting modifications to the dishes to make them vegetarian-friendly. The flavors are authentic and homey, the dishes are seasonal, and the produce comes from the garden. The entrée and first courses were exceptional, as were the desserts, accompanied by coffee from the moka pot. Highly recommended

24/10/2025: 10/10 experience in Tuscany. This was the highlight of our recent trip to Italy. Alessandro and his family were so lovely. He is an amazing storyteller, a kind human, and so much fun to be around. We loved learning how to make homemade pasta, tiramisu and some other delicious Tuscan food. We had the most wonderful day with Alessandro and the other guests, the food and wine were delicious, and this is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!!!

18/01/2026: It was lovely to be back!! It was already a favourite restaurant after our first, casual visit. It confirms its place as a place of great care and love for the ingredients and the combinations of flavours. Tradition and imagination are joyfully (ours!) embraced on the plate. Excellent hospitality, delightful space. Thank you! We'll definitely be back, perhaps at our favourite time: 7:30 pm!

26/12/2025: Had Diavola, it was slightly bigger than most other places. The quality of dough was superb. Restaurant was busy as eh but it came troppo veloche ie fast within quicker the one might think. Cherry on top was mascarpone Pandoro special cake made at Xmas by mumma . It was best restaurant desert I've tried since 2 months in 4 cities . Props to family run and operated venues. This place is a Neighborgood gem . Fair prices too. A lot of flair.

The service was extremely kind and attentive; the chef's presence was also a real pleasure, coming to the table every now and then for a casual chat, always with great charm. We chose a nine-course tasting menu, all meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and with great attention to detail. A gastronomic journey that completely satisfied us from start to finish. The price was absolutely in line with the quality of the food and service. A highly recommended experience; we'll gladly return.
