28/06/2025: We gave this place a fair try, 3 SEPARATE VISITS. We tried gelato, crepes and affogato. The affogato was way over priced given that it was less well presented than a cup of coffee and a slop of gelato, I could do better at home. The gelato is pretty good, there is better within a short distance either direction. What makes this not worth returning is the unwelcoming nature of the server. We went 3 different times and each time was worse than the last. Not worth it.

27/06/2025: Last night I went to Cantina del gelato with some friends. Excellent ice cream shop with unusual, exotic and gluten-free flavors for every need. In addition to the quality of the ice cream I must emphasize the hospitality of the employees. My friends already knew the place and had told me about the old-fashioned closed containers like wells that were definitely more HYGIENIC than the open ones and yesterday I went back to being a child for a moment (in the 80s many ice cream makers had well-shaped containers). Friends indicated how delicious the affogato coffee made with cream from my city was, next time I won't miss it. The 5 stars deserved. Something artisanal in Florence has remained. Thank you

10/08/2025: Visited in the summer, so the location is outdoor. Very basic, with some difficulty with the cobblestone flooring; not ideal for those with high heels. Regarding the food, I'd say the quality is truly excellent, with an exceptional rib-eye steak paired with a good wine list. Very friendly and attentive table service. A wonderful experience worth trying at least once.

09/08/2025: It was truly an experience, starting with the bathrooms, which were spotless and had unexpected amenities. The lady at the restaurant was truly amazing when it came to explaining the food and drinks. Highly recommended, especially for the excellent value.

22/07/2025: Very good service and excellent gelato. A place to come with the family and have a good time, and very close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

04/08/2025: The best hamburger ever! With a bonus: truffles. Excellent address! An impromptu stop on our route led us to a charming little restaurant, far from the main roads. A warm welcome and tasty cuisine. It certainly has its regulars, so make a gourmet stop here without hesitation.

16/07/2025: We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful evening here yesterday. The steak tartare was one of the best we've had in a long time. The pasta (some of it homemade) was just as good. Now for the service – it's absolutely amazing! Incredibly friendly and very professional. For that reason alone, we'll definitely be back. Thank you so much ❤️

21/07/2025: We had excellent lunch and dinner over the course of a week. We weren't staying at the hotel. The restaurant is definitely one of the best in the area.

18/07/2025: Esta es la comida toscana más auténtica y deliciosa que tuvimos en Italia. Massimo nuestro amable camarero de habla Inglés encantador que ama Escocia 🏴-(4-���-(4-���-(4-���-(4-���-(4-���-(4-���) fue muy atento y explicó los cortes de carne para mi hijo, tenía la tagliatta, filete raro abrasado con hierbas y los ravioles de ragu, dijo que era hermoso. Empezamos con el bouche de Chef con pan casero, steak tartar, precioso acompañado de condimentos como trufa y mostaza mayo, condimentos de alcaparra y aceite de oliva, bien pensado y bien disfrutado. Mi marido tenía la mayor cantidad de luz de tagliatelle con setas, realmente se hizo y cocinó a la perfección. Tanto mi hija como mi esposo tuvieron el jabalí ragu, que se vino abajo con una cuchara, junto con las flores de calabacín, estas le cayeron bien a mi hija que ama el crujiente de Dorito. La estrella del espectáculo para mí fue la untuosa sopa toscana Scottiglia, local de la zona, era absolutamente preciosa, de verdadera profundidad de sabor, sabía como si estuviera hecha con amor, mucha carne cocinada lentamente, con esa salsa y pan casero. Nunca he tenido eso en mis muchos viajes a Italia 🇮🇹 El vino local y la Cola lo convirtieron en un auténtico No te decepcionará venir aquí. El personal, la comida y el vino es una alegría y las vistas sobre las colinas de la Toscana son celestiales.

19/07/2025: Sehr schönes Lokal mit tollem Ambiente. Leider war das Service-Team von Beginn an überfordert. Innert 5 Minuten wurden wir mehrmals gefragt, ob wir uns schon für das Essen entschieden haben, ohne vorher nach Getränkewünschen zu fragen. Obwohl dann klar kommuniziert wurde, dass wir Vorspeisen und Primi zusammen serviert haben möchten und danach die Secondi, wurden uns alle Gerichte in chaotischer Art und Weise zusammen auf den Tisch gestellt. Nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen, dauerte es eine Stunde, bis die restlichen Secondi serviert wurden. Das insgesamt war leider eher fad und die Pasta wurden lauwarm bis kalt serviert. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend!

25/06/2025: We fell in love with this place at first sight and chose it as our wedding venue. From the very beginning, the owner was very pleasant and helpful, everything was as we had agreed and he was willing to accommodate all our requests. The whole place is in a quiet location with beautiful views. Beautiful accommodation and restaurant, where you can feel a piece of Tuscan history. Amazingly high-quality wines from their own production. We will definitely come back here and we are glad that we could say our yes here, in the heart of Chianti.

05/08/2025: The small restaurant lo Schiaccia Vino is inconspicuously located on a small street in the heart of Florence. We noticed it because of the long line and the crowds outside. The menu mainly offers baguettes, which are freshly topped with a variety of ingredients in the restaurant and are available to take away or eat in. In addition to various toppings made with the freshest meat, there are also a few vegetarian options. We opted for the Erbivoro and Nonna Papera baguettes. You can choose between white or dark bread beforehand, which is then freshly toasted and topped with the toppings. The baguette was delicious and crispy. The ingredients on the baguette were well-chosen and went well together. It was a delicious and light lunch. We highly recommend it!

01/08/2025: A wonderful discovery where you can eat and drink a good glass of red or rosé wine in the middle of the afternoon. A great plus for the wheelchair-accessible toilets. 31/07/2025: We absolutely loved this place. We went there almost every evening while in Lucca and we fell in love with the beautiful atmosphere, the romantic garden in the back but most of all with the staff. They made us feel so welcome and we laughed a lot. The cocktails were surprising and delicious, with the Santa Maria and Pomelo Negroni being our favorites. We had the vegetarian board and they were very accommodating to one of us eating vegan. This is a must go when you are in Lucca!

27/07/2025: We stopped for an aperitif, sitting in the garden surrounded by beautiful pomello trees. We ordered a bottle of red wine and a platter of excellent Tuscan products. The service was professional and courteous.

09/08/2025: A quick stop for a snack one morning after visiting the Cathedral. A little out of the way, reasonable prices and quality products. Sweet and savory, there's something for everyone and the place is very nice ☺️

27/07/2025: Location: Beautiful, large garden with a pergola, open grill, warm, serene, and romantic atmosphere. Food: Fabulous! We had a delicious appetizer and a spectacular main course of meat with a special marinade—definitely worth trying! Beverages: Wide selection of both sparkling wines and red and white wines, excellent recommendations from the staff. Service: Kindness and professionalism, attentiveness and customer care. Price: Absolutely in line with the overall quality. I highly recommend it; we'll definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful evening, experience, and their kindness. See you soon!

27/07/2025: Incredible place!! Such a cozy backyard and the food was the absolute best meal ever I think! Absolutely amazing. & the wine!! Super nice staff too. The only downside was the toilet that needs to be refreshed. Seriously.
