Fantastic food and great service. The amuse bouche were bright and every dish was a visual spectical. I enjoyed their house made miso, which was in several dishes. Overall I thought the dishes were innovative and highlighted the quality of the ingredients.

Just wow - Cuculia was outstanding.
Arriving early (literally as they opened) we were the first in and welcomed effusively .
We chose to have the 5 course tasting menu and I had the wine pairing as well.
The dinner started with an amuse bouche of pea and cucumber gazpacho with a side of broccoli with miso mayo and some sort of cereal crust ( delicious and I’m not a broccoli fan at all), a home made bun of 7 seeds bread which was really light and went brilliantly with the homemade butter. The only thing that let this course down was a lentil based ball - it didn’t really taste of anything and I felt was an unnecessary addition. The rest of this course was brilliant.
We then moved onto amberjack with marinated strawberries and a lime and coconut sauce. I’ve never had amberjack before and I must say - I look forward to having it again. The best think about Thai course were the marinated strawberries which added an umami to the overall dish and the delicious sauce which brought the whole thing together.
After this was a course of poached egg and asparagus with hollandaise. Again expertly executed.
Following this, came the pasta course of tortellini with chicken broth. Again excellent executed with the chicken broth being outstanding.
Then came lamb with braised leek and a smoked carrot covered in various gels. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the smoked carrot with gels was a revelation. The best part of the dish was the humble carrot expertly cooked.
A palette cleanser granita was served that did the job came next.
Finally we came to the dessert. Chocolate with caramel, some toasted nuts and a tuile. A perfect end of the meal.
A note about the wine pairings. Most were again excellent. The only one I found didn’t pair so well was the one served with the lamb. (I’d had a few glasses by then so can’t remember the name). The rest were all excellent.
Overall this meal ranked up there with all the great meals I’ve had.

On Easter Saturday we visited Cuculia to a double birthday celebration. We had pre-booked the five course taster menu which was accompanied by a vine menu.
The courses were very delicious and had lots of taste and surprises. The courses included jackfish with fermented strawberries, asparagus with poached egg, homemade pasta, lamb with beetroot and chocolate mousse.
One of us is allergic to gluten, so a pea risotto was prepared instead of the pasta.
Extremely good service and highly recommendable.

Really fabulous meal and service. Portions are on the petit side so recommend getting an app and a main or multiple courses, but everything was delicious!

We're so happy we stopped to eat here! The service is impeccable; Roberta explains each dish and wine with care and passion. The food is indescribable! It's like eating the very soul of the ingredients... and the wine pairing is perfect. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Cuculia was so incredible! We were getting quite sick of the repetitive menu offerings throughout Florence, and this was a welcome change! Everything was delicious, fresh, light and healthy, creative, and well-presented. The staff was lovely.

Cozy environment. Waiters spoke also spoke english and a bit of spanish. Pleased with the food, the flavors were exquisite. Ordered a la carte but there are tasting menus available.
