10/04/2026: An awesome take-away counter for affordable, real, authentic Neapolitan pizza. The owner works alone behind his counter and makes the pizza from scratch in front of your eyes, before sliding it into his wood burning oven to bake. The pizza itself was amazing, and provided the perfect evening snack!

04/04/2026: The best pizza for the money in all of Florence, even the slices. The manager, I think his name is Fabbio, is very friendly and kind! It's not expensive and the quality is very good. The only downside is that, despite closing at 9:30, most days they run out of products by 8. That says a lot about how good their pizza is!!

05/04/2026: A truly wonderful culinary experience in Lucca! We were a group of six for dinner, and the ambiance, the friendly service, and especially the food and drinks were outstanding! I would recommend everyone make the trip to Gosto e Mea; it's absolutely worth it!

03/04/2026: We came to this place after reading the online reviews and it was a pleasant surprise. The food is excellent and the ingredients are fresh: my boyfriend and I ordered two first courses (tordelli lucchesi with ragù and pici with pork and artichoke sauce) and a fried fish dish for two. The staff is also very friendly and helpful: in addition to offering us traditional cecina as an appetizer, they gave us excellent tips on what to see and do in the city! If you're passing through Lucca, don't miss this trattoria, a real gem. Congratulations!

03/05/2026: A truly pleasant inn in every way. The staff is extremely kind and immediately puts you at ease, with a level of customer service that is evident in every detail. The property is very well-maintained and the setting is wonderful, although its proximity to the road doesn't detract from the experience. The rooms are simple but well-furnished and comfortable. The on-site shop is also very interesting, well-stocked and beautifully presented. We also ate divinely, with special attention given to our two children, who helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Recommended, also for the convenience of available parking.

Our server was realy unpleasant, seemed to be mad at us for coming to the restaurant, we felt uncomfortable during the entire meal. 29/04/2026: What a gem this place is! Delicious food and kind and attentive service from the owner. We visited twice and had a great experience both times. They even have ample gluten free options (including desserts) for anyone who might need this. Highly. Highly recommend!!!

01/05/2026: A charming restaurant where the owner goes from table to table to greet you. They offer a set menu with choices for a starter, main course, and dessert. The tiramisu was spectacular!

28/04/2026: This is hands down the most overrated place we went to in Pisa. It was recommended by a local, which makes the whole experience even worse. Absolutely horrible from start to finish. We were the third people through the door after opening, and at that point we were the only British customers. Despite that, every single Italian who came in after us was served first. When it finally came to ordering, the waiter made a complete spectacle out of us. We were trying to speak Italian, and he deliberately pretended not to understand, then started speaking really fast and loudly in Italian before turning around and laughing with other guests right in front of us. It was humiliating. Then the food service—every other table was given fresh bread with oil, salt, and pepper. We were given a plate of stale bread just dumped on the table. No care at all. At around 12pm I asked for a coffee, and the waitress snapped at me aggressively saying no, I could only have one after the meal. The attitude was unbelievable—rude, dismissive, and honestly shocking. Who speaks to paying customers like that? At the end, we asked again for coffee and were finally “allowed” to have it. But the same waiter carried on pretending not to understand us and instead brought out two desserts we never ordered. The difference in how people were treated was blatant. Italian customers got warm greetings and friendly service. Tourists got cold, rude, dismissive behaviour. The waitress would walk up to tourist tables with a notepad and just say “Go” to take orders. No politeness, nothing. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome anywhere in my life. If you are not Italian, do NOT go here. It’s very clear they don’t want you there.

16/04/2026: Nothing to say about the service, everyone was very friendly, but the food wasn't good and it's not Peruvian food. They gave me a "chifa combo" that didn't have the vegetables that noodles usually go with; instead, it had diced zucchini and no sauce made with ingredients like soy sauce and oyster sauce. The chaufa was passable, the carapulcra was just a potato sauce with a piece of pork in the middle, and the ceviche was completely bland. A one-and-done experience.
