05/07/2024: Dear Diary - Stepping into Hosteria del Bricco felt like stepping into a warm embrace. (I believe) The family-run vibe was undeniable, with various artwork lining the walls. The food mirrored that warmth – fresh, comforting Italian fare that tasted like it had been passed down through the years. The staff, likely some of those same family members, were incredibly friendly and attentive. This was a great find, a bit away from the tourists scene, the restaurant retained a cozy charm. It was a delightful spot for a delicious and authentic Italian experience.

23/08/2024: We were passing through and stopped by chance. It was a pleasant discovery and a great experience. Excellent cuisine meticulously prepared. Compliments to the young waitress who helped us a lot in choosing the dishes.

The tasting menu presents excellent interpretations of traditional flavours, revisited with a personal touch from the chef. Each dish is a delight for the palate, accompanied by impeccable service that completes the experience.

14/08/2024: Sublime focaccia, light crunchy, well seasoned and stuffed with typical products of excellent quality. Also worth trying are the really good supplì, exactly like the originals in Rome. I chose this place based on the excellent reviews which I confirm and endorse. Highly recommended and if I find myself passing through Arezzo I will definitely call. Compliments

13/08/2024: Every time my daughter and I are alone for lunch, we go to the Spaccio and make it a special moment. The sandwich with potato and scamorza is spectacular. We also love classic sandwiches with ham or mortadella. You can eat on site or take away. We go back often.

29/08/2024: We stopped in here while visiting Florence and we did not regret it. It is right next door to a viral sandwich shop from tiktok so follow the crowds. We asked the staff member to choose one for us as we weren’t sure what to pick - he made us up two completely different sandwiches and we could not pick what one we liked better. He also checked with us beforehand if we would like the fillings he had chosen and gave us little tasters to make sure! We had a glass of wine and sat inside - it was a highlight of our visit to Florence. Would highly recommend

28/08/2024: Just delicious food. The beef steak tagliata was amazing, beautifully seasoned with an explosion of flavor. My first wine from Montepulciano was super delicious, San Salvaggio. Potatoes with delicious rosemary. You can simply taste the authenticity from the region. Great staff and service! Only recommended. Grazie Ragazzi

22/08/2024: Pranzato all'esterno con stupenda vista su piazza grande, menù completo ma non esagerato, ottima qualità delle portate , disponibile e professionale il personale ..buonissimi i Pici egli affettati di Cinta Senese. Prezzi molto onesti .

30/07/2024: Una cena speciale. Accolti nel giardino con i fasti di un tempo.. Ci accompagnano al tavolo e inizia la favola. Le pietanze sono tutte speciali,curate nel gusto e nell'aspetto. I sapori sono delicati ed unici. La descrizione dei piatti è curata nei minimi dettagli. Hanno reso la serata davvero speciale e unica. Un ricordo che resterà impresso nei tempi.

16/08/2024: Down-to-earth spot for street food in Capoliveri. We had dinner here twice in a week as the fried fish is just light and tasty. The fried calamari especially were out of this world. Good and quick and service helped with a hungry kid and husband. Recommended!

25/08/2024: Alla mia collezione di cene al Borgo San Jacopo mancava il menù estivo, così appena rientrata dalle vacanze ho organizzato con una mia cara amica. Abbiamo gustato pienamente i piatti che Claudio e la brigata hanno pensato per la stagione estiva, iniziando con l’anguria nell’amuse bouche, poi la melanzana come antipasto, per proseguire con gli spaghetti e caviale e ostriche , lo scorfano e finale con il piccione. Un girandola di sapori accompagnata dal perfetto abbinamento dei vini proposti da Salvatore, sommelier attento alle novità, capace di introdurre un vino del Libano e poi farti apprezzare le grandi maison italiane. Impeccabile anche l’accoglienza, Nicola, Domiziana ci hanno coccolate per tutta la sera, la loro è stata un’attenzione misurata che insieme alla presenza professionale di Claudio e Lorenzo in sala ha reso la serata speciale.

24/08/2024: Ieri sera siamo stati a cena a borgo San Jacopo …. Sempre una conferma! L’accoglienza è straordinaria…. In particolare grazie a Nicola, restaurant manager, con la complicità deliziosa di Domiziana. Il cibo è stato eccellente con particolare elogio alla melanzana ed il piccione del menu estivo ( da provare) e tutto accompagnato da vini eccezionale scelti con grande cura da Salvatore biscotti che non delude mai ….. una certezza tutto

25/08/2024: ¡Restaurante 100% recomendable! Principalmente destacar a los camareros, que hacen muy bien su trabajo, amables y atentos en todo momento. Posteriormente la comida, los entrantes espectaculares y los segundos buenísimos. Y por último, los postres que estaban geniales también. Da gusto ver personas tan dedicadas con su trabajo, ¡lo recomendamos! :)

10/08/2024: We were holidaying in Viareggio and this was an incredible highlight of our holiday. Superb food served with warmth, kindness and care from a lovely and lively team. Beautiful attention to detail and focus on delivering exceptional food and an experience second to none. We're still talking about the pudding which consisted of grapefruit gel, pink peppercorn ice cream, rose cream and a corn biscuit. Just awesome. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Incidentally, easy parking and easy to find!

14/07/2024: This great wine bar is hidden away on a small side street! The wine recommendations are great and everyone is very friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get a seat outside. We were here today for the second time and hopefully not the last. We'll come back next time we visit Pienza.
