10/09/2025: Possibly the best wine and food establishment in Pienza! Young entrepreneur, Davide, has assembled an interesting list of local natural and organic wines and beers and Johan is very skilled in the kitchen, delicious and creative dishes! We enjoyed the natural house Prosit wines and had the Burrata and cabbage dishes, full of flavours…not to be missed!

22/08/2025: We stopped by chance. The owner, Mr. "i'benzina," is a down-to-earth guy who always puts a smile on your face and offers home-cooked food at a fair price. We'll be back.

17/08/2025: Family owned sandwich shopped that we chose based on vicinity near outlet shops and reviews. The experience more than exceeded expectations. To start; welcomed very warmly and as we were with 10 persons, quickly arranged seating for us. Very friendly owners. The owner showed us their offerings for the day. From fresh pasta, to their potato dumplings and porchetta. We went with a mix of dishes. But the ones truly exceptional were the flatbread sandwiches with porchetta and with lampredotto (organ meat). These were on par or possibly better than the world famous antico vinaio sandwiches in the city. Also the lampredotto with tagliatelle was special! Rest was decent. But just for these 3 I would truly recommend a visit and find out yourself. Only drawback, if you can call it that, is that they are not cheap, options vary from 10-20 euro. But certainly worth it!

10/07/2025: The food here was delicious. Ate a steak, baked vegetables and pesto gnocchi and all were amazing. The staff were friendly and polite, and I loved that I didn’t get pressured to tip like I have previously at other restaurants. Love that dogs are allowed there too. Overall great experience.

30/08/2025: Quiet place to eat and kid friendly. They accommodated a group of 9 with 5 kids around 4 years old. Drinks limited to wine and beer. But the food was damn good. Cute romantic place with local cuisine. Make reservations or you may be out of luck.

30/08/2025: 5 stars, food was great (take lampredotto, it's so good) and service too. Great location if you want to go and watch the sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo, which is well worth seeing.

17/09/2025: In the heart of Volterra, this excellent sandwich shop offers traditional Tuscan specialties. You can choose between a traditional sandwich, a cereal sandwich, or a focaccia, and you can fill it with a variety of fillings, cold cuts, and special spreads. Everything is delicious. The house wine is also worth a try. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

06/09/2025: Mine isn't appetite, it's a true hunger for simplicity, beauty, and harmony. In gastronomy, reaching the essence of simplicity is the most difficult feat possible, because simplicity lies in the use of a few good raw materials and a few, but expert, techniques. And Filippo does this at Mater. But there's something even more difficult. In life, as in cooking, we seek the "landscape," but we know nothing about "nature." Director Ermanno Olmi said that you can't love a forest by thinking of it only as an oxygen factory. Do you want to love a forest? Kneel down and look at it closely. Filippo and Marta go to the Camaldoli forest in their free time, kneel down, look closely, listen with all five senses, and dream of a dish. Many chefs are passionate about what they do, but Filippo's passion is imbued with a strength that runs through him, which isn't simply the strength of the ego, but something beyond the ego. 10/06/2025: Our BEST meal in Florence. Every dish was spectacular. Service was friendly and genuine. Especially wonderful was the cocktail tasting. The mixologist is a genius. He made beautiful and super tasty cocktails. Possibly the BEST cocktails we’ve ever tasted! Thank you, Gunè!

25/08/2025: I finally tried it. The 5&5 in Livorno... A simple place with sidewalk tables... Very friendly staff. The chickpea cake was fantastic, and the pizza was also good. And coming from a Neapolitan, that's a real compliment. Recommended, especially for the value.

06/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay! Very friendly people; no question was too much trouble. They were very helpful and thought along with everything. The apartment looked fantastic! Everything worked perfectly. The pool is well-maintained and clean! The view is stunning, wherever you are on the complex. The breakfast is superb! But dinner was fantastic. We had delicious meals two evenings. All in all: we would return again and highly recommend "Borgo Dolci Colline" to anyone who asks for recommendations in the area. The photos on the website already make it look fantastic, but in reality, it's even more beautiful!

15/09/2025: The restaurant is very well-maintained and elegant, and the service is courteous and attentive. I found the cured meats for the appetizer excellent, and the Florentine steak tender and juicy. The menu features fresh, select seasonal ingredients. The wine list is lovely. If I'm passing through Sansepolcro, I'd gladly return!

11/09/2025: Traveling with my wife, we made a quick stop at Al Coccio restaurant. Even though we hadn't booked, we were warmly welcomed into an elegant setting. We ordered two excellent first courses. Recommended.

15/09/2025: Casa Sordi has become a must-see on our Elba holiday. The dishes are true works of art, for their flavor, originality, and the care the chef devotes to each one. And what more can we say about the owners... wonderful people who put their heart and soul into what they do... and the results are amazing. We'll be back again on Saturday to try more delicacies. Thanks guys!!!!

14/09/2025: The chef's interpretation was a wonderful experience and a wonderful surprise. The waiters' service was very good, and the farewell greeting from the kitchen was unusual. I should note that the two pasta dishes with fish were a touch spicy (but of excellent quality), but it's good to know.
