16/08/2024: Quella da Bisteccatoscana è stata un' esperienza incredibile. La Bistecca è l'elemento centrale attorno al quale ruota tutta la meraviglia di questo posto che cura ogni minimo dettaglio: dall'arredamento dell'ambiente ai vini e ai piatti di accompagnamento, dalla griglia dove viene cotta la bistecca alla scelta accurata della carne. Tutto prepara a quell'incontro di sapori che si sprigionano nel mangiare una Fiorentina come non avevo mai provato prima.

26/08/2024: During our recent visit to Ristorante Osteria IL Bibbio, we were absolutely enchanted by the entire experience. The food was nothing short of exquisite—each dish bursting with flavor and prepared with the utmost care. It’s clear that the kitchen team is passionate about what they do, and it shines through in every bite. However, what truly made our evening special was the outstanding service we received. Our waiter was not only incredibly polite but also a true professional in every sense of the word. His warm demeanor and genuine attentiveness made us feel so welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. He anticipated our needs with such grace, and his knowledge of the menu added a lovely personal touch to our dining experience. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of delicious food and impeccable service, but Ristorante Osteria IL Bibbio has certainly achieved it. Our compliments to the entire team, and especially to our wonderful waiter, whose kindness and expertise truly elevated our evening. We look forward to returning and enjoying another unforgettable meal.

24/08/2024: Typical trattoria found by chance but we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and kindness of the staff and the excellent traditional Tuscan cuisine. Excellent value for money if we get the chance we will definitely come back

18/08/2024: It has become one of our favorites since the first dish we tasted a few months ago. The Gramophone is now a fixed stop when we pass through Lucca on our holiday road! The dishes are definitely out of the ordinary, the ones we tried were delicious. The desserts never disappoint and the service is impeccable! August 2024, the salmon sashimi salad was truly memorable! We'll be back! 😊

17/08/2024: Had dinner here yesterday with my girlfriend and we had a great evening! The level of service is high, the staff knows their food and wines. Plus they speak proper english. The food is also really good. The menu has some beautiful and thoughtful dishes. We even had the luck to enjoy some live jazz music, which was not to soft but also not too dominant. 10/10.

02/08/2024: Great little place chef owned and run. Core cheeks, tripe, delicious pasta. Wonderful Local cuisine. Air conditioned interior. He also made a little cheese pasta for my 8 year old.

30/07/2024: One of the best street foods I’ve tried. Super nice service: very happy to show us what was available and give us recommendations. Very tasty food. Had the trippa with bread, and Lampredotto spinach with bread. Coming back tomorrow for seconds before leaving for the airport. Highly recommended.

07/08/2024: The bruschetta, the gnocchi, the orecchiette and the tiramisu were amazing! The ambiance was perfect and the service was great!

20/08/2024: An absolutely spectacular thing! I don't really like fast food, but this time it's a must for me to include an exception. Welcomed with kindness and with accurate explanations on the dishes, we ordered two different sandwiches: the vegetarian one with egg and the one made with cocoa beans and I must say that even just the plating was beautiful to look at. The fried potatoes are a delight for the palate. I highly recommend trying it and I really congratulate the chef who also works alone and prepares everything on the spot. Ornella (July 2024)

21/08/2024: We went for dinner and we really liked the place. The waiters were very correct and the pizzas were very good, with an excellent quality-price ratio. Very small place, with a terrace on the street, so it fills up very quickly. Better to book before. Advisable.

20/08/2024: We went there twice and both the times they had been very rude. The guy waiting tables had very bad attitude. We felt he was a bit raciest as well because he treated others very politely. We went there after seeing rating of the place. But now I feel the rating could be faked. We did not try the food so I can’t say anything about that but they need to work on their customer service. Never going there again.

31/07/2024: The food is very good you can feel the beef in the meat and the prices are cheap. The only personel is the owner and he is realy nice and he makes food fast.

29/08/2024: The soups offered are very interesting, seasonal and change often. Get advice from the staff. Good service. Well made dishes and interesting varieties. I really liked the pici with mixed cinta and goose ragù. Special desserts, good saffron ice cream

29/08/2024: Very good food! The innkeeper gave a beautiful explanation of the materials used, the dishes and the culture and vision of the place. Very pleasant as a person. The only flaw in the service is the bill: just before leaving, a not very nice scene between a customer and the owner(?) about some mistake or wait (and it's okay, it happens) but then she counted us two special gourmet coffees for €3 each never asked for or taken. My fault too, I noticed it after I left but you have to be more careful...

04/08/2024: Delicious food - we ate carpaccio, carbonara and tiramisu. Wonderful, friendly service. We HIGHLY recommend it!

26/07/2024: We’ve been here twice this week, both times a great experience. Amazing food, great wine selection but above all service which you don’t experience very often in italy. Super pleasant experience overall. Would definitely recommend especially for people with food allergies because they take these very very serious!!

06/08/2024: I went in after seeing Pisa and looking for a good restaurant. It was quiet and the person serving us was very kind. All the food felt like they put a lot of care into it and it was of good quality. I recommend it to Koreans The price is reasonable, around 15 euros.

13/08/2024: In Cortona, finding a place to have dinner on a Friday in August without having booked and also looking for a place not for hit-and-run tourists is not exactly easy. We then asked a local guy who suggested this restaurant to us. A beautiful surprise. A little out of the way, frequented by locals (a very important element for me), young and wonderful staff, really excellent food. We ate panzanella and guinea fowl stuffed with olives. There isn't much space outside (however the restaurant overlooks a narrow street in the historic centre), inside there is air conditioning and a very hospitable environment.

08/08/2024: Everything was exaggeratedly good and the waiters were very sweet and attentive! Unfortunately only a little hot inside, but otherwise an experience to be absolutely repeated!

19/08/2024: Ristorante a gestione familiare con menu fisso (in nome omen!) a 35Euro deciso giorno per giorno . Tutto cucinato perfettamente, gusti autentici, delizia per il palato adorabile come la cucina della mamma. Guidati da Marco e sua moglie si arriva al dolce soddisfatti ma non appesantiti. Segnalo i tordelli favolosi che si sciolgono in bocca, gnocchi ai funghi dormienti delicati e gustosi e pollo al coccio, ma chissà se li avrete anche voi ;) Un'esperienza davvero originale per uscire dalla routine dei ristoranti con lucine led e piatti finto Michelin...
