19/10/2025: Always a great time. Delicious prosciutto and pecorino, best tartar, omg on the truffle jam and the beer and wine selection great .. Cristoforo and Davide is the best! Love the quaint location!

15/12/2025: It was a magical and intimate evening. Fate granted us the chance to book the last available table for two. There was no special occasion to celebrate, but it quickly became one thanks to the fabulous service and dishes. All the combinations were perfect; we had a couple of appetizers, two first courses, and then two desserts. We were served a small entrée to begin with, which already hinted at the beginning of a journey of precise and flavorful flavors, without too much hesitation. We paired it all with an excellent Montefalco red, dessert with the Muffato wine from the dining room, and to finish, a good barrique grappa. Excellent value for money. The only downside was the truffle, which we weren't particularly thrilled with, but it's still definitely 5 stars. It's a formal, yet warm and welcoming place where I hope to return soon. 😊

29/12/2025: A wonderful experience. The staff is highly trained, friendly, and attentive. The menu is meticulously crafted. A small initial tasting of their local olive oil is also included. The Quail Wellington: exceptional. We'll be back soon.

13/01/2026: Fantastic pasta-making course at Ristorante Rosso Crudo! The class was fun, well organized, and very hands-on. The teacher was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through making fresh pasta from scratch and sharing great tips along the way. Everything was explained clearly, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Eating the pasta at the end however was not good as during the making of the pasta pepole were rubbing there noses and coughing in to their hands. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Italian food or wants a unique experience.

30/12/2025: The waiters were very kind and welcoming, they even explained the menu to us in English, how they cooked their dishes and gave recommendations. Our favorite was their fresh baked bread, super soft and tasted quite unique compared to other places’ bread we’ve tried in Italy. The hospitality was great!

29/11/2025: Wow, what amazing home style Italian food. This was everything we had hoped for in a restaurant here. The pasta was top notch, the tomato sauce was simple but unlike any sauce we’ve tasted before, and the meats were very good. Their wines were also amazing, so definitely do the wine tasting option. We cannot recommend this place enough.

04/01/2026: We went there for dinner on January 3 with another couple of friends. The place was very nice. The food was very good, beautifully presented on beautiful plates. I've been vegan for almost 16 years and I'm very happy when new places open, not only for the satisfaction of eating there, but also because it allows people to better understand the vegan option, which is very tasty and healthy. I was happy to see the restaurant fill up. I highly recommend it.
14/12/2025: The dishes were plentiful, very good, and well-prepared. The only small flaw, which is why I gave the service 4 stars, is that, in my opinion, the owner could have smiled a little more, but that's all. All good, anyway.

10/01/2026: We spent a few days in Pistoia for the Christmas holidays, and on the evening of January 1st, craving a nice Florentine steak, we stumbled upon this typical trattoria. They offer a fixed-price menu, which I recommend, which includes mixed appetizers, a Florentine steak of a weight appropriate for the number of guests, three side dishes, and a dessert. Drinks are not included. The owner, like the staff, is incredibly welcoming. You can tell they really care about explaining the quality and provenance of the meat. Oh! By the way, aside from appetizers and side dishes: THEY ONLY EAT MEAT! It's a real steakhouse; they don't do first courses, they don't do fish... What a steak, folks! Served on piping hot plates so it doesn't get cold, and cut at the table by the owner himself. The only flaw: they served us French meat. Good, tender, but not the most flavorful. I would have preferred local meat. Anyway, I recommend it. It's worth it.
06/01/2026: This traditional Tuscan restaurant is located on Via Sant'Andrea in Pistoia, in a beautiful medieval building restored with exposed brick and stone. Enjoy fabulous grilled meats and traditional dishes with tasty crostini, excellent cured meats, side dishes, and appetizers, accompanied by a wide selection of white and red wines. The owners, with great professionalism and kindness, recommend these wines, turning a simple dinner into a truly exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and fantastic for photographs. Excellent in every way! The food, wines, hospitality, and sophistication. Recommended restaurant!

12/01/2026: Review of January 12, 2026: I asked for the same thing as the day before, but in floccacia. Truffle, cheese, and ham. Much less good than yesterday; you can't taste the truffle, and the floccacia isn't the same—it's much harder, less soft. There's much less ham. I didn't finish it. But the sauce was good; it balanced it. Review of January 11, 2026: It was truly exceptional! I'm just being witty in my comments. And this was simply incredible. I didn't know what to expect when I walked in. And I was practically the only customer. It's a shame for an establishment that offers such delicious dishes and where the person in charge of the kitchen is so lovely. Here, when they say "with truffle," you really taste the truffle. When they say gorgonzola, you really get cheese with flavor! The portions are very generous. The price is attractive. The decor is superb. Everything is very clean. I'm so glad I discovered this place. I wasn't expecting to find it on a Sunday evening. The music is pleasant and it's a real Italian radio station. The sound quality is good.

The friendly and welcoming staff will bring your order beforehand, accompanied by delicious bread and excellent olive oil produced on the island. The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes and the excellent wine.
15/10/2025: By far the best restaurant on Elba so far. The food is excellent and always freshly prepared, and the service and kitchen staff are extremely friendly!
