28/05/2025: This morning before leaving beautiful Florence I went to this bakery not far from the Santa Maria Novella station to get some typical products and more. I was served by two very polite and friendly ladies. But let's get to the products. Typical rolls called rosemary with raisins and rosemary very good. Great discovery these rolls are really excellent for breakfast. Ideal for those like me who don't like croissants. Olive baguette for my son very good. Puff pastry rusticini and pizzas... according to my daughter... exceptional. Excellent cantuccini. I still have to try the rice cake and the biscuits with almonds and raisins... the bakery is small but very well stocked. It will certainly be the first stop on our next weekend in Florence.

31/05/2025: The BEST meal I’ve had in Italy. We had a friend find this place on TripAdvisor, and I cannot recommend this place enough. I ordered the Penne Al Coccio, and almost melted into my seat after one bite. If you are coming here, ORDER THIS!!!!! The pasta is perfectly al dente, with a generous helping of each topping (truffle, mushrooms, peas, bacon) and an amazing portion size. The flavor was out of this world, the second it hits your tongue, it is perfectly spiced, extremely flavorful, salty, I cannot stop thinking about it hours later. The best meal our group of 6 had, I shared almost a quarter of my plate because everyone could not get enough, and then cleaned the plate with a piece of bread because it was that good. Not too heavy, perfectly able to walk around in the hot sun afterwards. Another friend ordered the Coniquio Ripieno Al Forno, and said it was perfectly cooked, the rabbit moist and tender. We also had someone order the Gnocchi Alla Fornaia Con Basilico e Noci - the gnocchi was the perfect texture, soft, pillowy, chewy, and the pesto was incredible. The Tagliata ti Manzo Alla Maniera tel Bricco con Rucola e Cicciolo was also beautiful- perfectly salty, light, quality meat (served rare, we saw some other diners be surprised by the serving style of this dish, so look at pictures beforehand!) We ordered tiramisu, panna cotta, and a biscuit dish served with a dessert wine for dessert. The tiramisu was incredible, easily shared amongst 3 people. The panna cotta was the other star of this meal- the creamiest panna cotta all 6 of us had ever had. Sweet, creamy, delicious. Prices are incredibly reasonable, the service was incredible, with handwritten menus, wonderful servers, and a beautiful interior. The location is right by the water, we were able to exit and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the bridge. Will be coming back!

16/05/2025: This place was recommended to me because it served traditional food and because it wasn't one of the many restaurants overrun with tourists, so the prices weren't that high and the food quality was very good. They were absolutely right with their recommendation. They welcomed me with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and I ordered seafood pasta, which I thought was the best I'd eaten in Florence. The price was indeed lower than the restaurants in the more touristy area. It's well worth going out of the city center to eat there, because the service is also excellent.

21/05/2025: I found this place using Chat GPT and it was a great suggestion for seafood lovers. The dishes we shared were great, but the clear winner was the salt-baked fish! An absolute must to order!

21/05/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant, unique and well-kept in its furnishings, relaxing atmosphere. Manager and staff attentive to detail, excellent service. We took a tasting menu of 6/7 courses with raw fish, simply delicious! A culinary experience to try.. excellent quality of the raw material, all accompanied by a good Riesling reserve. The price is above average, but justified.

07/06/2025: Had dinner for New Year's Eve, warm and familiar environment. Had a great meal with truly excellent dishes. Exceptional stewed snails. Excellent desserts. the tavern is located in the middle of the countryside near Sarteano in a wonderful place, one more reason to return in spring/summer to enjoy the landscape.

09/06/2025: The tavern is located in Trequanda, so you really have to go there specifically in this tiny village, but it is absolutely worth it. The proposals are all interesting and unfortunately in one dinner/lunch it is impossible to try everything. The cake then... A bomb! Absolutely recommended

As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a rare kindness, the kind that makes you feel immediately in the right place. The staff is attentive, smiling and thoughtful: every detail, from the service to the way the dish is presented, conveys care, passion and authentic professionalism. The quality of the products is impressive, every ingredient speaks for itself: fresh, selected with love, enhanced in every course. But the real star of the evening was the chef, an artist of flavors, capable of transforming every dish into a journey through taste, emotion and revisited tradition. You can feel the love in what he does, you can perceive the respect for the raw material and the desire to make every guest experience a special moment. It is difficult to choose the best dish, everything was simply perfect, a crescendo of emotions. 24/05/2025: I am very pleased to write this review as by far, after staying in Firenze for three weeks, Osteria de'Cicalini is by far the best restaurant we have eaten at. What first caught my eye walking by was the bright, bohemian rustic vibe. Our host greeted us immediately and was attentive to our every need. We started with an absolutely delicious pear and honey burrata, followed by a Pici cacio pepe dish that was fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the central Firenze area.
