26/03/2025: Cena infrasettimanale in famiglia. Servizio efficiente e rapido (locale non molto affollato, dato il giorno infrasettimanale, ma comunque non "triste"), sala ben riscaldata. Menù consueto e tradizionale, ben eseguito, pesce in gran parte surgelato ma di qualità. La nota dissonante è il conto: 36€ a persona mangiando 1 antipasto, 1 primo piatto e 1 dolce per ciascuno, 1 birra media in tutto e 4 bottiglie d'acqua (della casa, 0,75 l) per tre persone. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, è vero, e difficilmente si farebbe un pasto completo con 3 portate + dessert: tuttavia, nel caso, si supererebbero di slancio i 50€ a testa e, se poi si aggiungesse una bottiglia di vino "senza esagerare" con la carta, si andrebbe vicini ai 60€. I tempi cambiano e i prezzi aumentano, d'accordo, ma l'aspettativa sul qualità/prezzo in relazione alla tipologia di ristorante resta nel complesso un po' delusa.

12/04/2025: I forgot to take pictures because I was starving when I arrived! I wanted something different and vegetarian! We ordered two pasta dishes and a salad and everything was great! I recommend it for vegetarians who want to vary their options a little! The service is great, the staff are super friendly, and there are tables outside, which is really cute!

18/04/2025: We had a very enjoyable dinner here. We felt lucky to get a last minute reservation on a Friday evening and were surprised that the service was so friendly and unhurried. The atmosphere was relaxing and unpretentious. I would gladly return.

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

27/02/2025: Tipica Trattoria toscana, senza troppi fronzoli. Menù stampato ma con appendice del giorno scritto a mano su carta avana. Buona la cantina. Piatti di qualità, dolci ottimi. tutto nella norma di un posto dove vuoi mangiare sano e veloce. Prezzi ottimi, ho speso 34 euro a testa, con primo, secondo e dolce e mezzo litro di vino della casa. Vale la pena di tornarci.

13/12/2024: My family and I stopped here a couple weeks ago on our way to Colonnata. We had an excellent meal. I especially loved the pasta of the day, lasagne.

16/02/2025: Sono passato molte volte davanti a questo ristorante, oggi di ritorno da una bella giornata di sole e neve abbiamo deciso di fermarci, il locale internamente non corrisponde al l'impressione dell'esterno e cioè "rustico e rurale", mobili laccati e applique con il paralune, tutto molto ordinato e pulito ma poco effetto Locanda. La gestione della sala è scadente, un solo cameriere con tutti i coperti disponibili di domenica a pranzo è improponibile. Per riapparecchiare un tavolo abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti, il ragazzo però è stato molto gentile e cortese, ce l'ha veramente messa tutta, il menù è molto esiguo, antipasti, primi e secondi della tradizione locale con poco da segnalare, tutto già visto e mangiato mille volte. Ristorante che non ha qualcosa di importante da ricordare, ne come ambiente, ne come menù. Anche il prezzo è nella media. C.

25/01/2025: Esperienza molto bella, il locale da molto le vibes di casa ma con tocchi raffinati e di classe, i proprietari sono veramente alla mano e gentili e super attenti senza essere invadenti, ma il vero protagonista è il cibo, veramente buono e con porzioni giuste, lo abbiamo trovato per caso perché non siamo di zona ma sicuramente ci torneremo più che volentieri

06/01/2025: I had dinner at this inn with my husband and our 7 year old daughter. We were welcomed by a family atmosphere that made us feel at ease right away. Very good food and excellent value for money! If you pass by here you have to try it! Highly recommended!!

01/03/2025: One of the best restaurants in the Casentino valley, excellent food and a relaxing venue. Reservation required, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, open only for lunch on Sundays. Wide choice of wines.

15/03/2025: Excellent place for a great, authentic meal. The crostini toscani are delicious and the grilled pecorino cheese is a must. Also, save some room for dessert because their home-made caramelized figs are amazing. Can’t wait to go back. A must!

Authentic, or rather family-style, typical cuisine recipes, such as Sassetana-style figs, wild boar skewer and baked pork leg with a fantastic marinade flavored with Mediterranean scrub. Best Tuscan appetizer in all of Tuscany. I can continue. Authentic experience of the flavors of these areas. It's worth the trip without even thinking about it. Fair prices for the quality of the food.
