06/04/2025: Having stumbled upon what looks like a small restaurant by chance, everything is on the first floor. Excellent welcome from a very young and kind girl. We are served immediately and enjoy tasting potato ravioli with ragù and pici cacio e pepe (both excellent) Then we move on to the meat, a good sirloin with rosemary and an amazing fillet with lard, one of those that will be remembered for years! We recommend the place both for the food and the friendliness of the staff. Compliments especially go to the young girl in the dining room. Compliments!

26/01/2025: Ristorante molto accogliente, il personale ed il titolare Samuele ti fanno sentire subito a casa, molto gentili ed attenti ad ogni esigenza. Il menù ben articolato fra pietanze di terra e mare offre anche una serie di piatti del giorno….inoltre la parte dedicata alla pizza è molto curata e varia…. Carta dei vini buona I piatti che abbiamo degustato erano molto buoni ed abbondanti, dagli antipasti ai primi ed ai secondi…. Buoni anche i dolci…. Poi per gli amanti del rum… il proprietario ha una collezione vastissima di rum per tutti i gusti , accompagnati da coccolata proveniente da diverse parti del mondo.. Un paradiso per gli appassionati Che dire… una bella serata passata tra buona cucina e bella compagnia… Bravi.. buo rapporto tra qualità e prezzo! Da consigliare….. anche la nostra piccola cagnolina è stata accolta benissimo! Ottimo direi

04/03/2025: Fantastico ristorante, con cucina tipica, propone anche dei piatti con sapiente rivisitazione di alcune tradizioni, personale eccellente, molto attento alla clientela, carta dei vini di elevata qualità, rum servito egregiamente, location suggestiva, tutto molto curato, prezzi competitivi, data anche la qualità dei menù. Sono più di 20anni che vengo in questo posto e in tutti questi anni ho visto tutto il loro impegno nell'offrire sempre il meglio ai loro clienti e quando mi fermo a cena/pranzo da loro, ormai mi sento a casa e queste sono cose che non hanno prezzo, specie per me che non sono di Siena...ma di Latina e per me la Taverna San Giuseppe è tappa fissa ❤️.

23/02/2025: Location d’atmosfera, esattamente il tipo di posto in cui ci si aspetta di mangiare quando si viene a Siena: calda e accogliente. Un plauso al soufflé pecorino e pere e ai pici cinghiale e porcini, eccezionali. Buoni anche il tagliere salumi e formaggi e la tagliata al tartufo. Ottimo anche il vino. Abbiamo molto apprezzato che si potesse ordinare la mezza bottiglia, ideale per chi non vuole rinunciare ad un buon vino di accompagnamento senza esagerare! Ci ritorneremo!

17/04/2025: Excellent restaurant with a high quality selection of products. Located in the area bordering Agliana, it offers a wide range of tastings of the territory and beyond. Their dishes are excellent, all freshly made. We start with appetizers that range from fish to meat with passages for sweetbreads or livers revised and personalized. The first courses are both local and national such as gricia or plin. The second courses are always generous, ranging from roasts to fried foods and then moving on to fish cooked in the oven in salt. The side dishes are varied and intriguing. The desserts are unmissable, all of which are home-made. A note of merit also goes to the wine and sparkling wine list. It certainly deserves one or more stops!

Both the rooms and other areas are clean and tidy. The respect for traditions stands out with great clarity, accompanied by a continuous search for renewal. 05/04/2025: 5 star review for the Il Calesse restaurant in Quercianella: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Calesse restaurant with an old friend and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! The quality of the food was excellent, starting from the raw dish, which was incredibly plentiful and very fresh, with flavors that blended perfectly. The lobster tagliolini were simply fabulous: a dish that exceeded my expectations, with perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, tasty sauce. To accompany everything, we chose the house sparkling wine, which proved to be a perfect match with our dishes, enhancing the flavors in a sublime way. To end the evening, we opted for a punch which added a touch of sweetness and originality to our meal. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere of the place very welcoming. I highly recommend Il Calesse to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious dishes in a relaxing environment. I can't wait to go back!

30/03/2025: This is destined to become a place of the heart and I want to say it because I am very selective with my heart. Discovered by chance. Wonderful, very fresh fish cooked without tricks, smell of the sea, unique aroma, perfect service, "homely" but real welcome, smiles, positive energy. World-class sorbet for an encore, so it was and wonderful, very light frying for an encore. Go there! It's worth it! See you soon!

A little out of the way for those arriving from outside the area...narrow country road and little light in the evening hours
