Delicious dinner, everything perfect

While going off the beaten path out of Florence, we went to Pistoia for a day...and what a surprise! So many other thigs to see and do here, just not your average tourist guide entry list item. Well, we found this little place with some great food and service. We had a very nice experience all and all. Would definitively return here again.

Nicely presented set up + cheery attention outdoors doesn’t translate to good cooking alas ..& our fried artichoke snack with 3 glasses of house pour wine wasn’t sensibly presented to share as we’d ordered> zero individual plates & no condiments meant by the time all these were insisted upon finally came..our food order was stone cold. A nearby surreptitious smoker later negatively disrupted our happy outdoor experience ..& although legally allowed..his furtive addiction sending us second -hand smoke was enough to see us hightail outta there .. a not entirely unsatisfactory experience..but not ideal if you care about your health & you have a heightened sense of environmental wellbeing. Value light on too. Alas.8 Not really recommended.

The first and second courses are very good. The pizza, although also very good, doesn't make the top three, leaving room for the first and second courses, but overall, you can't leave unsatisfied. It's worth noting that the pasta and pizza dough are made entirely in-house, and they also offer gluten-free options (always made in-house). The quality is truly top-notch, and the service is simply impeccable. For example, dishes shared among multiple people are already divided in the kitchen, so the customer doesn't have to halve and "transfer" the food, which is a very high-quality detail. Regarding prices, despite being centrally located in Pistoia, they remain quite reasonable, and there's no need to worry about leaving hungry given the (personally) generous portions. Overall, an excellent place.

A restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine located on Via del Lastrone in the province of Pistoia. This welcoming, quiet, and clean restaurant is beautifully furnished with comfortable, beautifully set tables. Enjoy excellent, fresh, and flavorful dishes, accompanied by a good selection of wines and friendly, helpful service. I recommend trying the appetizers, each one better than the last!

Cacio e Pepe with extra guancale is to die for, and the bistecca fiorentina was so perfectly cooked, with crunchy outer crust and tender inside. Pizza was not the best I've ever had but it was still good. They did not ask how rare or well done we wanted it but I suppose there's only one acceptable way to enjoy it and it was superb. The steak is not heavily salted so you can salt to your own taste.
