It's all very good, but there's NO way to fight mosquitoes other than spraying water and mosquito repellent at face level, without asking anyone, with the substance getting in your mouth and on your food. Fight them in other ways, but not like this.

18/09/2025: Definitely... The establishment is very well presented and has a pleasant outdoor space with reserved parking for guests. The cuisine is focused on quality, and it shows. Unfortunately, the seafood salad wasn't to my liking, but the fried oxtails were flavorful and dry, the grilled octopus was just the right amount of toughness, the spaghetti with clams was delicious, and the red prawns were delicate. To finish, we tried the tiramisu and the zuccotto, both homemade and both delicious. The service is attentive, although aside from Marco (my heartfelt compliments for his manners), there are some gross errors unworthy of the establishment. The bill is absolutely in line with the offerings and the quality of the food. An absolutely positive experience.

11/11/2025: A true Tuscan gem! I had a fantastic tasting experience at Fattoria di Montemorli. The setting is beautiful — rustic, welcoming, and full of history. Vittorio was an outstanding host, taking time to share the story behind the winery and each of the delicious wines we tasted. Every glass captured the spirit of Tuscany, from their Chianti Classico to the Vin Santo. Highly recommend stopping here if you want an authentic, family-run experience between Siena and San Gimignano. It was one of the highlights of my trip! 🍷

16/10/2025: The olive oil tour is highly recommended! Incredibly delicious olive oil at a great price, which you'll appreciate even more after a tour where they explain how much time and energy this process takes. David and his wife were incredibly hospitable!

06/10/2025: David and Georgia are the perfect hosts. You can feel at any given moment that they love what they do. Not only is the gorgeous farmhouse located in a beautiful area, but the service both of them provide is excellent. If you get the chance to enjoy the „farm-to-table“ experience, go for it! It is absolutely worth it. If we ever travel back to this area, we will definitely stay with them again!

02/12/2025: We stopped here for lunch on Sunday because it's convenient, on the road to Arezzo. The restaurant serves typical Tuscan fare, with excellent food and friendly, helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

13/12/2025: Probably one of the best restaurants in Barga. We loved it so much that we went twice for lunch during our trip to Tuscany. Right in the heart of Barga, the menu is packed with traditional Tuscan classics alongside a few modern surprises (I spotted tacos). We ordered pasta both times and it was phenomenal; the bolognese alone is what convinced us to come back for round two. You can immediately tell this is a local favorite, which is always a great sign. Even on chilly November days, the place was buzzing with locals every time we stopped in. The staff was fantastic as well, and we even got the chance to chat with the owner. And the ambiance was just lovely. There’s a balcony overlooking Barga, and I am still wishing we’d snagged one of those tables (sadly they don’t use that space during colder months). Prices felt very fair for both the quality and portion sizes. A spot I’d happily return to without hesitation.

01/12/2025: A historic restaurant in Barga, right in the center, beneath the Town Hall. We ordered a delicious polenta with porcini mushrooms and a delicious slice of Argentinian beef. The quality of the meat was top-notch. Superb service. The staff are always attentive to their customers' needs and, above all, fast and punctual.

08/11/2025: A quiet setting in a former farmhouse. Alessandro is an excellent chef. The cuisine is purely Tuscan, with excellent dishes and meticulous service. Prices are affordable, so reservations are required to secure a table. Definitely worth a try. R.N
