09/06/2025: Had a great time having drinks with my mates, coming from USA and London. Multilingual staff which was very helpful, and made our experience almost feel like we were back home, with the Duomo cathedral next to us. We stayed until the late hours of the night, as it is a safe and welcoming area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

07/06/2025: Food: Top quality ingredients. Skillfull chefs. Food here is just perfect. Either you can order from the fix menus(lasagna, meat, pork) or just go with whatever you want. We tried Carpaccio, Napolitan/Buffalo pizzas, Menu Venus & Caesar Salad. Each of them is on another quality. Also try their tiramisu, so tasty and excellent. I don't want to say performance/quality place for here because their prices are really cheap. It's just quality with cheap prices(comparing with other places). Service: Servers are quick, friendly, helpful and genuinely smiling to you. On top of that they are literally controlling the environment and cutting unwanted behavior that can come from the outside(sellers, beggars, etc.) very very quickly. Atmosphere: While dining you are seeing Duomo, I believe it should be enough :)

12/06/2025: Beautiful location overlooking Monterchi, but the service is inefficient and the pizza is definitely not good, it is not a pizzeria, it is certainly a restaurant, however I did not like it at all.

02/07/2025: Great pizza. We sat outdoors and had a really lovely chat with the server. We were doing a pizza marathon that night, getting a pizza from a bunch of places. This place was #2 for pizza but #1 for ambience and service.

01/07/2025: You can indulge yourself with 2 completely different rooms, but both very beautiful! Fermentino the historic room very intimate and, in my opinion excellent for the intimacy of the couple. Ferment room, modern kitsch and pleasant background music. The pizza? Speaks for itself! I will only add that the selection of beers also fits perfectly with what you will choose from the vast choice of pizzas.

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

18/06/2025: On Monday my boyfriend and I went to dinner for the first time, we were impressed by the goodness of the dishes. We had an appetizer with cold cuts and crostini, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and tortelli stuffed with ricotta and spinach with mushrooms, rosbeef and finally Portuguese milk. I recommend trying the wild boar ragù, it's spectacular!

16/05/2025: We have just returned from a very pleasant evening in this restaurant, to celebrate our wedding anniversary: ​​excellent. I liked everything, I can't find anything to complain about. The village in which the restaurant is located is beautiful and characteristic; the garden and the internal rooms are delightfully enhanced in full Tuscan style, without excessive frills. I really appreciated the service, present and professional, but never intrusive or affected. Superlative food. Finally, the sponge hand towels were the icing on the cake. However, the treat that made me fall in love with this restaurant forever were the silver cutlery. Thanks to all the staff. We will definitely be back.

12/06/2025: The gluten-free food was good. It's true that the carbonara pasta was better than the pizza, as the dough was obviously frozen. However, the service was good, and the waiter invited us for a glass of wine.

12/06/2025: We came twice, we had two carbonaras and two Hugos, very reasonable prices and great taste! Then we came back the next day for 2 Hugos and they served us a free fried basket with mozzarella and fried prawns! Adorable, I recommend it!!

24/03/2025: Il Barrino di Tatti is a small corner of peace immersed in the Maremma, perfect for those looking for good food and a relaxed atmosphere. The location is pleasant and authentic, with a welcoming panoramic terrace from which to enjoy an aperitif with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside. The food is quality, with well-prepared dishes and fresh ingredients. The real surprise is the pizza: excellent, fragrant and tasty, certainly one of the strong points of the place. Il Barrino di Tatti is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy lunch, a pleasant dinner or simply sip a drink immersed in a spectacular panorama. Absolutely recommended!

The menus change monthly and offer a wonderful combination of aromas and flavors, with a variety of textures. Each dish is finely seasoned and briefly presented before serving. 14/06/2025: Dining at Olivium in San Miniato was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our vacation – a true hidden gem nestled in picturesque olive groves, and absolutely worth seeking out. The restaurant offers three thoughtfully curated menus: two four-course options (one focused on fish, the other on meat) and an extended five-course tasting menu. Before the main courses, a generous selection of fresh bread (including cecina pie) and high-quality olive oil was served – a delightful and promising start to the evening. I chose the meat menu, and every single course was exceptional. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the presentation was elegant and refined, and the quality of ingredients was outstanding. Each wine pairing complemented the dishes beautifully, showcasing a deep understanding of harmony between food and wine. The service was flawless – warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. You can tell that both the kitchen and front-of-house teams work with passion and precision. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking: quiet, surrounded by nature, with sweeping views over the olive groves. It’s a place of calm and beauty, ideal for enjoying an unforgettable meal.

26/06/2025: Delicious food. If you want something other than pizza, this is the right place for delicious meat dishes. Super friendly staff and they speak very good English. Really recommended

23/06/2025: Ten of us showed up here on a whim for dinner and they were able to accommodate us without an issue. We had been in Italy for 8 days prior to going here and had eaten at many different restaurants at this point in our trip. I’m not exaggerating at all when I say that this was the best food and service out of all the places we had been to thus far! Great food, great service, and a pretty spectacular view on top of it!!

21/05/2025: A very small, authentic restaurant where the owner personally cooks, serves, and chats with his guests. Delicious food and a truly friendly host! Absolutely fair value. We paid €50 for three glasses of wine, two main courses, dessert, and limoncello for two. Unfortunately, we were only in Pisa for one day, otherwise we would definitely have come back.
