22/09/2025: Located in the first hills behind Capezzano Pianore, just 1.5 km or 2 km from the Sarzanese Provincial Road. However, some road signs to help locate the restaurant wouldn't be a bad idea! As soon as we entered, we were escorted to the back garden/patio, and the setting is truly fantastic. The waiters are elegant in their uniforms. The menu includes both meat and fish, and the dishes are well-prepared and beautifully presented. Everything perfect, then? Almost. A couple of details were a shame: the mushrooms in the tagliatelle ai funghi were frozen, plasticky, and tasteless (a serious problem, considering it was mid-September); when ordering coffee, I unfortunately discovered they had no sweetener, just white sugar (being diabetic, I had to drink it bitter). Finally, the bill: €75 per person for an appetizer, a first course (or second course), dessert, and the cheapest wine on the menu—it's not cheap, though the garden/patio setting justifies the slight price premium.

22/09/2025: A delightful little place in the center of Grosseto. The staff is helpful and very welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly, the food is excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable. We'll definitely be back!

The setting alone is breathtaking: Villa Bardini sits high above Florence, with gardens that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. But it is what happens at the table that truly defines this restaurant. I chose the nine-course tasting menu, and from the very first bite, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. Each course was a story in itself, balancing artistry, innovation, and deep respect for Tuscan tradition. The pacing was flawless, the flavors precise, and the plating so beautiful it felt almost criminal to disturb it. Standout dishes included a course that reimagined seasonal vegetables as if they were jewels on the plate, and a main that struck the perfect harmony between rustic soul and modern finesse. Desserts were whimsical yet elegant, a finale that left me smiling like a child. The wine pairings were masterful, elevating every course without overwhelming it. The sommelier’s knowledge and warmth made the experience all the more personal. And I must mention the staff: attentive without being intrusive, passionate without pretension. They guided me through the evening with such care that it felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a world designed to delight every sense. By the end of the evening, I realized this was not just a meal, it was a journey—an immersion in Florence’s culture, flavors, and artistry, all seen through the lens of a visionary chef. If you love food, beauty, and the kind of experience that stays with you long after the last sip of wine, La Leggenda dei Frati is simply unmissable. Five stars feels like an understatement.

Upon entering, I found a refined atmosphere and a warm, courteous welcome. The service was impeccable, and the food was superb. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back!

A little corner filled with excellent food and drink, a talented hostess who will give you the best recommendations, and an atmosphere that exudes conviviality. 16/09/2025: A wonderful discovery in Pietrasanta. We had dinner with our daughter at this wonderful place. What can I say... delicious food, incredible pici all'aglione, and a dessert (la nuvola) you absolutely must try. The owner is super welcoming, easy-going, and explains the dishes in great detail. It's already become one of our favorite places!!

16/10/2025: We found this place by accident while driving back from Sicily to Poland. We only stayed one night. It's a wonderful place. A true Tuscan atmosphere. For a moment, we even considered staying another day, but after a three-week vacation, homework called. I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful place, a wonderful restaurant, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It definitely exceeded our expectations. ❤️ Thank you for such a short stay. We left this morning. 11/10/2025: Simply excellent! We had a huge room at a reasonable price, everyone was friendly, our dog was welcome, and the food in the attached restaurant was good. The breakfast was also decent by Italian standards.

18/09/2025: A truly excellent seafood restaurant. Every dish we were served was fresh. The aroma of the sea can be felt in every dish. The staff is attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves quality cuisine.

23/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say he was right. We booked a year in advance, because that's the timing... Everything was truly delicious and tasty; we were able to savor the true flavor of every dish served. The price is standard: €45 per person, including all dishes and wine. We opted for an appetizer, first course, and dessert, without a second course, wine, and coffee, and we still spent €45. I highly recommend it, but go on an empty stomach because you'll eat a lot.

25/09/2025: This restaurant might be a little hard to find, but it's worth it! It has a wonderful, quiet atmosphere, with a stunning view and a terrace. It's like stepping into a small medieval tavern. The local dishes are wonderfully prepared. Everything we tried was professionally prepared and delicious. The chef did a fantastic job! If you're looking for somewhere to eat but want to do it before the other restaurants open, this is the place for you! You won't regret it! The restaurant is easy to find by following the signs from the main road. It's also in a beautiful, welcoming location.

01/10/2025: Rintocco is exactly what you're looking for as a vacationer in Tuscany: authentic food, super friendly owners and waiters, local drinks, and great value for money. A clear recommendation: the pizza and the beef fillet are particularly delicious. The beef fillet cost €18 and was a relatively large piece and very good. Reserve in advance!

22/09/2025: Hands down some of the best food we have had in Italy and some of the best pizza we’ve EVER had. Wonderful owners and staff. Great location. Beautiful town. Honestly, that food was insane. We are coming back tomorrow. I can’t leave Italy without more of everything I ate. And more. Absolutely charming.
