Place with an intimate atmosphere. Nice furnishings, soft lighting, pleasant music. It is possible to choose a complete tasting from three (land, sea and mixed "as per tradition"), each including six courses, or select individual à la carte dishes from the aforementioned tastings. If you opt for one of the three complete menus, the journey must be shared by all the guests (i.e. at the same table it will not be possible to choose a tasting and at the same time á la carte courses, nor two different tastings). This apparent rigidity is promptly overcome once the tasting is served - we selected "as a tradition", in our case. Starting from the welcome prosecco and the amuse bouche, the gastronomic experience is special. Refined and divinely successful combinations, perfect cooking, pasta with an amazing consistency, condiments with multiple flavors and without one ingredient dominating the other, delicious presentation of the dishes. Personally we found the first four courses excellent, while the second course and the dessert were a step below (although pleasant, but less harmonious than the previous dishes). In general, the raw materials appear to be of a high standard, and are certainly crafted and arranged with skill. To the admiration for the chef's skills, we must add appreciation for the entire dining room staff, polite and present, never intrusive and very competent. It should be considered that, contemplating ordering a bottle of wine (not among the most expensive) for two, the price is around €90 each. It has almost never happened to me to spend such sums for a single meal, but the Polveriera is a culinary experience that truly deserves such an outlay. And I think I'll make it again in the near future, perhaps once the tasting menus have been remodeled.

I had a fantastic experience, a truly unique place with particular and welcoming decor! The dining room staff he is very helpful and competent, the waiters manage to immerse the customer at 360° thanks to the accurate description of the dishes. Each dish is a unique experience, a mix of flavors and textures, you can see that there is attention and precision in everything served! Excellent value for money, I recommend the tasting menu!!

Excellent restaurant, top quality, wonderful welcome, well furnished, very kind service. All the dishes are carefully prepared and plated very well, the place is very clean, you can see that there is a lot of care and attention put into everything. It's in the center so you have to park nearby and reach it on foot, the value for money is good but don't think about spending €20 because that's what fast food is for, here you eat quality and quality has a cost. Recommended, definitely to return.

questo è il miglior ristorante di tutta Pontedera! Ogni volta che torno a Pontedera devo sempre passare da loro, i chef in cucina sono strepitosi per non parlare dell’accoglienza e del servizio dei camerieri, una parola FANTASTICI!

abbiamo fatto la cena di Capodanno, consigliati da amici che conoscevano il locale. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi! Locale molto accogliente. Il menu proposto, assolutamente originale e non banale, è stato un vero e proprio "viaggio" alla scoperta di sapori e piatti dai quali traspariva ricerca di una cucina ad alto livello, assistiti da un servizio eccellente. Complimenti . Torneremo. Per la serie : nessuno è perfetto: non abbiamo trovato nulla da dire... Consigliamo.

La Polveriera stands out as a unique and refined venue, with a sophisticated and welcoming location. Background music contributes to a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are attentive and kind, offering excellent service. The quality of the food is of a high standard, completing a high-end dining experience. I recommend it for a candlelit dinner.

Best restaurant in Pontedera so far. Really high quality of products and preparation tecniques. We loved this place very much and definately this is the place to take work partners or go to a romantic dinner
