Here at Pinolo I found (May 3, 2026) the **** --- Torta con i Bischeri --- **** ORIGINAL, ANCIENT, PERFECT RECIPE also thanks to a key ingredient that unfortunately isn't often found elsewhere. It's the same one I ate in the '70s!!! WELL DONE!!! Please don't change the recipe!!!

We always stop by when we pass by. I have to say that Hanjonin Ottoma is a quality pastry shop. I recommend it.

A charming pastry shop with attention to every detail, near the Basilica of San Piero a Grado, and I, who am a lover of macchiato coffee, define theirs as superlative.

We stopped here couple of times for a quick bite and a coffee. We found the food and service excellent. There was a good sepection of savories and sweets. Everything we had were fresh, well presented and tasty. Cappuccini were good. My only complain is I prefer coffee to be warmer. Service was quick but courtious. Staff doesn't speak much English but enough for them to understand our order! There is plenty of road side parking. It is next to landmark church with a field in front if you want to sit there to have your food!

Excellent pastry shop, very friendly and welcoming staff. I've been going there for three years now, ever since I worked in San Piero, either after a night shift or for a schiacciatina for lunch during my afternoons. The savory items are very good and well-filled with excellent quality cured meats, and plentiful, unlike other bars where the cured meats are sparse and of poor quality. The sweet items are worthy of a pastry shop and deserve a top spot. The drinks—I usually drink fruit juices—are well-branded and excellent quality. The desserts and cakes are excellent. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have been frequenting Bar Pinolo for some time now, and we're always satisfied. The quality of the products is truly high, and you can taste the attention paid to the selection of ingredients. The stuffed focaccias are spectacular, and the pinza is truly excellent. The dough is light, fragrant, and easily digestible, which is not a given. It's one of those places you'll want to return to because you know you'll eat well and be treated with care. Kudos to you for the quality and consistency.
