15/11/2025: I arrived full of anticipation, and in my mind, I was already anticipating a divine experience: sublime dishes, captivating aromas, the kind of cuisine that makes you close your eyes for a second just to savor the perfection. I could still imagine the first bite, so good it shook all my expectations, and the impeccable service that would complete the experience. Too bad… it was all a DREAM! Because in reality, the restaurant was closed, without any notice, without a message, without any communication whatsoever. A total disappointment, especially after such a long wait. A real shame: I only ate divinely in my imagination.

25/10/2025: We had dinner with friends, booking through The Fork app, which gave us a great discount. The food was reasonably priced, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. On a negative note: Saturday night at 9:15 PM, they started turning off the TV and music and closing the doors while we were still chatting and sipping our ordered bottle of wine! As we headed to the register, we heard burps coming from the other room... a shame, we could have ended the evening differently! The waiter and staff were very courteous and helpful!

29/07/2025: Pizzas and insalata di mare are very good, the service too, the noise is sometimes a little too much but there small covered terrace allows for more peace and quiet, the prices are good.

29/09/2025: Me and my partner were staying in Puglia for a week from the 19th of September, staying one night near Polignano a Mare, 3 nights in Ostuni, and 3 nights here in Castro - we were most excited about this hotel as our friend recommended it to us. Starting off positively, the hotel grounds were beautiful and the location idyllic. The staff were all so lovely, kind, and personable. We were left a little disappointed by the service however. When we arrived we were told someone would fetch our bags from the car and bring them to our room, and after waiting over an hour we ended up having to get them ourselves. We were also told there’s a WhatsApp number to text food/drink orders to from the pool (it looked like the pool bar was closed so maybe why) but when we asked another member of staff for this number they were confused and said they’ve never heard of that before. Having to order food and drink from the pool felt like a mission, climbing up all the steps to then wait at the bar or reception which was mostly unstaffed - then waiting over an hour and a half for lunch and a drink. Not really ideal sadly. I’m sure this was mostly because we visited slightly out of season but I feel like the service should remain the same regardless. We got the standard double room and it was very, very basic. There wasn’t WiFi and when we asked at reception they gave us our own WiFi box which was strange and should’ve been told upon checking in. I’d also recommend adding tea/coffee making facilites to the rooms, there were also only six hangers in the wardrobe and no draws to put the rest of our clothes. I think a lot of updating would make this place a haven. Dinner was (in our opinion) overly expensive for the small portions we had, so we left feeling hungry and decided to eat at surrounding restaurants for the rest of the trip. Onto more positives - breakfast was a big highlight, such a feast! Although does finish early (10 am) so wouldn’t recommend a lie in. And the views from the terrace at breakfast were just divine. The pool was the most tranquil place to relax, we did go to visit the private beach but it was a bit choppy and cold for us this time of year! The hotel also had tennis courts we didn’t have time to use, and a movie theatre outside but not sure how that works as nothing was ever playing? Again, the staff were truly lovely, I hope to come back again and have a better experience with the service and maybe book a better room.

24/09/2025: The location of the resort is truly unique – directly on the cliffs with stunning sea views from many areas, whether from the breakfast terrace or the pool. The friendliness of the staff is also noteworthy; minor issues were resolved immediately. We were less impressed with the suite we booked: The furnishings are quite basic, lacking storage space and comfortable seating, and the patio furniture appears basic. The air conditioning also didn't work reliably and was a bit difficult to operate. Overall, this gives the impression that the resort is in need of renovation and modernization in some areas. All in all, however, the great location outweighs any drawbacks, so the stay will remain a positive memory.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve lunch, nothing special, no appetizer, and I liked the first and second courses, except for the fried food. The staff were friendly, but the place was very cold.

11/12/2025: It was lovely to come here: - The food was good and of high quality. - The service was a bit slow, but well-mannered and available. - The restaurant is clean, not too big, and the view is exceptional. In my opinion, the value for money deserves 5 stars.

29/08/2025: The owner's service is terrible. Very aggressive and defensive when faced with a polite request. I don't recommend it at all. I don't understand how he retains his customers. Another owner should open the same location because it's beautiful.

29/08/2025: The owner refused to give us an umbrella because we had small children and a stroller (which could be folded). He also said we couldn't open a small basin in the shade for our newborn. This is absolutely disgusting, insensitive, rude, and discriminatory behavior toward children. We have reported this to the authorities. Stay away from this place.

17/09/2025: The place is very noisy. The cups and plates are taken away and put in the dishwasher, which is located in the middle of the room. The products are top-notch!

16/09/2025: We went for dinner in mid-September. We had a fish starter and a grilled fish dish. The starters were good, and the main course was decent. Nothing special, but still good, fair enough. The location was nothing special. Prices were average, in my opinion, for what we ate.

14/03/2026: I've ordered from this pizzeria several times. They have a good selection of products: sandwiches, calzones, pizzas, kebabs, and piadinas. The piadinas and calzones aren't exactly good quality; they're hollow in the center, and they seem to have been made in a hurry and skimped on ingredients. The same goes for the pizza; I also don't like how they make the pizza dough; it's very dry, like a cracker. Obviously, it's a takeout pizzeria, not a sit-down one (especially since there's no cover charge), but they could at least put up a roof for when it rains, as water seeps in. So? The review is also for others. I have the right to review based on my experience. Good luck!

29/11/2025: Excellent product. But the wait times are unbearable! Ordered by phone at 8:30 PM. They told me in half an hour, and after an hour and a half I'm still here waiting. Terrible service.
