26/09/2023: We would also eat well if it weren't for the owner arguing with people while you eat... We felt embarrassed. I understand the sacrifices a person makes, but you can't argue with everyone every time.

10/09/2023: Small but hospitable, honest and kind staff. The hamburger bread is different in a good way because it is special and you will notice it. All great advice but I also recommend booking!

07/04/2024: Il locale è open credo lavori solo d estate Si presenta atmosferico con brace a vista e cucina nascosta.il piatto principale è la carne alla brace che puoi mangiare in diverse opzioni sia mista che selezione Puoi mangiare anche panini classici locali ,ma traina il bruciato Il servizio è impostato x il service ma i ragazzi sono molto accomodanti,ti viene dato un telecomando che suona quando è pronto e devi andare al ritiro 🙃i prezzi nella norma se sai leggere il menù 🤔

14/08/2024: I would say that overall our opinions were positive, apart from waiting a bit for the pizzas even though it wasn't that crowded when we arrived, but we are on holiday so no problem... The place is very particular and very nice, typical, eating on the terrace was very pleasant, the staff helpful and courteous, very good and rich pizzas, perhaps some a little overcooked but really very good! We took some appetizers, in short I would say we were satisfied... From the outside you wouldn't give us a euro given the area but have the courage to enter... Top! The only note perhaps is the cocktail, you can probably remove them from the menu because the customer will be tempted to have something to drink but if the doubt is whether to do it and then once done it is not who knows what perhaps it is better to avoid them.

09/08/2024: Yesterday 8-8-24 I had dinner with my wife at l'Ostricaro in Gallipoli and we were super happy. The prices are normal and the quality of the product is really very high. The staff is really prepared, friendly and fast. The crudo was delicious. As a first course we ate square spaghettoni cacio e pepe with tuna tartare and tagliolini with stracciata, purple prawn and frisa... Both truly of the highest quality. Fried prawns and calamari with a sauce made by them which went very well indeed. A restaurant that we recommend without a shadow of a doubt.

07/08/2024: Overall, the food is not bad, unfortunately the portions are very small, the prices are absolutely too high for what is offered, the staff is not adequate and a bit rude, an experience not to be repeated.

14/07/2024: En el centro del pueblo de Giuliano encontraréis este precioso y coqueto restaurante de comida regional. Se puede comer en el interior, o bien en su bonita terraza exterior, toda iluminada con luces las noches de verano. Se trata de una trattoria auténtica, que sirve platos muy elaborados, sabrosos. Entremeses, tablas de queso de la región, embutidos, especialidades salentinas. Pasta, carne... la carta no es muy larga pero si muy apetitosa. La carta larga es la de vinos. Excelentes caldos de la región. La cerveza, muy buena, es artesana y de una sola marca y tamaño, sin discusión. Los postres caseros, fabulosos, son otra de las cosas que hacen de este local un referente en la zona. Reservad para asegurar vuestra mesa. Ambiente muy distendido, divertido, familiar, aunque también muy romántico. El personal, muy eficiente, se desvive por la clientela, amables. Sin problemas de aparcamiento en las calles del pueblo. Precios muy ajustados para la calidad que se ofrece. Nos encantó cenar aquí dos noches. Volveremos y recomendamos sin dudarlo.

13/07/2024: Locale caratteristico pugliese con personale di sala veramente accogliente e gentile, abbiamo iniziato la cena con dei buonissimi antipasti, buonissima anche la melanzana con patate, buoni i primi piatti, unico neo sono le trie con ceci. I secondi sono buonissimi, le carni sono morbidisseme e succose. Il pezzo forte sono gli spumoni, ottimi. Prezzi nella media.

Too good, don't come en masse or you'll finish all the rustics for me. the bar is family-friendly with deaf-mutism, with the addition of other staff. Then it's called the people's bar, this also makes the difference. There are rustics up to 2 hours after closing. From 9 in the morning we start selling. 02/08/2024: Excellent for a relaxing breakfast with its delicious and characteristic Lecce pasticciotti. The rustic ones are also excellent. It also includes a reading corner, a small literary library for lovers of relaxing moments.

22/07/2024: Ieri sera siamo stati da loro, io e mia moglie, per una cenetta in due. Non eravamo mai stai in quel ristorante, posticino a dir poco accogliente, facile da raggiungere e con parcheggio interno. UN'ABBUFFATA TREMENDA, prezzi decenti, tutto buonissimo, piatti tipici e soprattutto la simpatia del personale è stata davvero singolare. Consiglio vivamente!

19/07/2024: Siamo in vacanza da una settimana e continuiamo a preferire questo ristorante. Non c è un piatto che non sia squisito. L antipasto per 2 è favoloso a SOLI 20 euro. Dopo l antipasto non ho più mangiato nulla. Materie prime ottime e prezzi accessibili a tutti. Torneremo anche stasera.

18/08/2024: We booked for mid-August lunch because in addition to the menu they attracted us with the story that there was music and dancing... nothing at all just food... we asked for explanations and at first they ignored us and then with great rudeness they invited us to pay and leave the table....all the other regular customers form a large geriatric group...the atmosphere was like being in a hospital canteen...not recommended....

01/04/2024: Posto perfetto. Super consigliato. Ho scelto la degustazione dello chef fatto da 7 assaggi di antipasti di mare. OTTIMO! Ma quando ho assaggiato la frittura di mare e il filetto di scorfano ho sentito davvero la freschezza della materia prima. FAVOLOSA! Tutto circondato da un ottimo servizio iniziato dal cameriere Francesco e terminato dai proprietari che mi hanno fatto sentire davvero a casa, la mia Puglia è quindi il mio Salento! Ogni volta che ritornerò qui sarà sicuramente una tappa fissa. GRAZIE MARINERO

01/04/2024: Sono stato con la mia ragazza il giorno di Pasqua abbiamo ordinato due linguine alle vongole e un fritto misto, tutto molto buono e dal sapore delicato. Anche il servizio non pecca siamo stati accolti da una signora molto educata e professionale.

03/06/2024: I ordered catering for 40 people. The menu was €16 per person for a total of €640. When the catering arrived, their request was instead €670 (we were paying for the transport but €30 seemed a bit excessive given that my town is only 6km away from them). Here I turned a blind eye and thought oh well, never mind, I hope the food at least goes well but that wasn't the case. All the stuff was old. The fritti were from about 2 days old and tasted right. The rest was also old and bland. I made a terrible impression on my guests as they also complained about the food which was terrible and we were really disappointed. With all that money we would have expected much more but apparently they don't even know what cooking means. I had to throw everything away. Money wasted and given away. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Order elsewhere.

16/08/2024: Nice little place, I didn't like the cocktails and it was quite expensive too. The Lecce rustico, on the other hand, was very tasty. Friendly and professional service.
