Tutto il personale é altamente qualificato e ad ogni singolo ospite viene riservata grande attenzione. Villa Vergine, una perla nel Salento!

06/01/2025: Definitely a 5-star place, decidedly terrible New Year's Eve organisation. Gone are glasses and even water. Filled up to the point of not being able to move. Negative experience. A real shame!

Rooms of various types and locations, with breathtaking sea views. Personal space on the cliff, adequately set up, to fully enjoy the crystal clear sea of ​​the area. 18/01/2025: My experience in this estate dates back to 2012 where I celebrated my confirmation. The rustic but very welcoming restaurant is surrounded by a large garden where you can rest after a meal. I recommend also including deckchairs on the lawn that can be used by customers.

30/01/2025: Cena da dimenticare, antipasto striminzito e pagato carissimo anche se la materia prima era ottima, abbiamo aspettato l’arrivo dei primi piatti per più di un ora, abbiamo preso le tagliatelle con tartufo e porcini ovviamente del tartufo neanche l’ombra, i ravioli aperti ripieni di pesce senza sapore, si salvava solo la calamarata con il pesce, non abbiamo preso i secondi per evitare di aspettare ulteriormente , siamo andati via leggeri e non solo nel portafoglio, non ci ritorno mai più

22/01/2025: Ho visitato questo posto 3 volte, in 3 occasioni diverse: - Colazione (circa 10:15): A parte il cappuccino decisamente troppo bollente, i cornetti in fondo non erano male, sapori che si possono trovare un po' in tutti i comuni bar dei dintorni, forse parliamo di prodotti surgelati, non mi pronuncio perché non sono sicurissimo, lascio il beneficio del dubbio. La scelta è vasta, e lo sarebbe stata anche durante la mia visita se fosse rimasto qualcosa in vetrina. Voto parziale: 2. - Drink in compagnia: Io e il mio collega chiediamo un Dry Martini. Alla nostra "strana" richiesta, il barman sussurra a delle persone (probabilmente suoi amici) vicino a me, chiedendo consiglio. Vista questa scena decido di intervenire scusandomi e dicendo che, data la mia esperienza nella miscelazione in diversi posti di lavoro, potevo illustrargli io in maniera molto umile come creare questo drink, oppure con il massimo rispetto lasciare direttamente perdere e cambiare l'ordine in due Gin&Tonic. Ricevo un "non ti preoccupare" come risposta e quindi un po' in dubbio decido di allontanarmi dal bancone. Dopo numerosi minuti vengono serviti i due Dry Martini incriminati, una quantità indefinita di Gin, miscelato con una quantità indefinita di Martini BIANCO (gli ingredienti erano a vista perchè li stava ancora sistemando), il tutto servito in un tumbler alto, riempito di cubetti di ghiaccio e guarnito con una fettina di limone. Per evitare di creare situazioni imbarazzanti decido di bere questa strana soluzione e procedere al saldo del conto. In cassa mi viene battuto come "Gin" + "Amaro", per un totale di 18€. Pur di andarmene il prima possibile pago e scappo via. Voto parziale: 0. - Aperitivo in compagnia: Essendo appena tornati da un viaggio abbastanza lungo e stancante, data l'ora decidiamo di cenare con un tagliere per 4 persone e un drink. L'attesa è stata un po' lunga nonostante fosse un infrasettimanale, ma il locale era molto congestionato quindi non mi sento di penalizzarli assolutamente, l'attesa era giustificatissima e non eccessiva. Il servizio non è stato male, e il tagliere era di ottima qualità e pieno di cibi insoliti ma molto apprezzati, non era il solito tagliere noioso di soli formaggi e salumi. Siamo rimasti abbastanza soddisfatti sia dal servizio che dal rapporto qualità prezzo (circa 50 euro in 4), tuttavia non siamo stati colpiti dalla pulizia del locale, soprattutto la zona dei servizi igienici. Voto parziale: 4. Voto totale: 2 (Basato sulla media aritmetica delle votazioni delle mie visite). In conclusione: Non mi sento di raccomandarlo più di altri bar per le colazioni. Non lo consiglio a persone che vogliono godersi drink un po' più complessi o di nicchia, ma ci tornerei volentieri a fare aperitivo.

25/01/2025: I have never eaten in a place so disorganised, unnecessarily expensive and devoid of any gastronomic merit. I can hardly find only negative aspects but the dinner was a torment… ENTRÉE: The location, COLD. We were welcomed by what I think should have been the manager of the room even if he had little responsibility. Zero communication with customers, zero presence in the room. He abandoned us alone, in the cold, with a fireplace that he never managed to light after having thrown alcohol in front of us (long live safety) and having come with the kitchen torch and placed it everywhere (long live hygiene)… however he did not succeed; spoiler the wood was wet. Then he decided to leave us for 40 minutes with the speakers not working and not in mute mode but with the classic noise when the jack is not properly inserted into the speakers and it causes that annoying steady noise that even talking to my partner on the other side of the table had become too many at that moment. APPETIZER: The excuses for the infinite delay because there is a problem in the kitchen, a problem that continued for other hours and hours... and finally the surprise, after two hours of waiting they arrive: 4 meatballs, 4 croquettes. After another 40 minutes of waiting: casu ncirato and capocollo (although I would correct the name, capocollo stasciunato suits him better). I ask for bread to accompany these dishes also because after hours the idea of ​​doing a tasting had vanished... and nothing, no bread. After another 40 minutes we receive a pitta made with the same dough as the croquettes and the same filling as the other micro pastry, also with onions. Let's say that the portions for a child close to weaning are more generous than those given to us. Then after another 20 minutes other excuses, other problems and to make amends, which is ironic, they bring me the bread with an oil emulsion (which according to them was to make amends but was certainly part of the tasting) as I refuse to think that all this misery it is appropriate to charge 50 euros each. FIRST COURSE: A portion of lasagna divided by two and a portion of orecchiette divided by two. My grandmother, with half the time and double the guests, would certainly have done better with times that respected those of dinner. SECOND COURSE: one spicy sausage each, one sweet sausage each and rightly only ONE slice of capocollo to cut in half because we probably didn't deserve the other one. DESSERTS: Very overly fried Purceddhruzzi, a slice of caprese to be divided in two obviously and a slice of tart clearly made with unripe lemons as the pastry was very bitter but yes, I ate it because I was dying of hunger. Finally the coffee: the only thing that is good and quick because it is made by a machine. I don't have time to finish it and the "manager" of the room tests with the POS because everything went wrong but when it comes to money you have to pay as quickly as possible. He points out to us that he took away 20 euros to apologize because the chimney didn't start, I think to myself "if only that was the problem" but he also made me reflect on how little, if any, room for improvement they could have if this was the only problem of the evening for them. Having said that, never again.

18/01/2025: I spent a pleasant Saturday having lunch at Bros' trattoria with some friends. We were the only ones in the place and this meant that the attention to food and service were exceptional. The menu is not very varied but the dishes are well presented and very good, respecting the Salento tradition. The location is very beautiful both inside and outside (despite it not being very furnished due to winter). I recommend stopping by for anyone who wants to learn about Salento traditions and tastes in a little-known area like Scorrano.

09/03/2025: Just decent pizza, but it's on the service that we have one of the worst experiences ever. Booked at 9.45pm as soon as we sat down we immediately understood that they couldn't wait to send us away, immediately asking for drinks and if we wanted fried food without even having us open the menu, with a hasty manner and not at all courteous in serving us. Once the pizzas arrived we immediately noticed a certain frequency in stopping by to see if we had finished, there was a sense of wanting to hurry and it's not pleasant when you eat out. They also asked us to hurry up. Very kind. I won't tell you about the waitress's expression when we asked him if there were desserts, replying annoyed that there were only a tart and "a chocolate thing". We were brought the bill without having asked and at the cash register they asked us for the exact money because they didn't have any change. "You owe me 108, I can't give a euro and 50 in change to everyone" with unprecedented rudeness. I wish they had told us on the phone "we don't accept reservations after a certain time". I don't understand how it gets more than 4 stars. But are these people in the profession?

18/10/2024: Only 2 of the starters were available. The food was subpar. Frozen goods, but the portions were large. Service bored without motivation. And if it was the last restaurant, I wouldn't go!!!

15/10/2024: Service somewhat slow. Food below expectations. Menu completely to be revised You enter from a pizzeria-like entrance and you arrive in a sort of back room 20 euros a plate with 10 defrosted calamari is a slap in the face to the kitchen

26/11/2024: Pleasant experience in a family environment, we discovered the restaurant during a dinner organized with an association, we returned with friends and it was a pleasant confirmation, lovingly cooked fish dishes, generous portions, all seasoned with a serene and familiar atmosphere, wide possibility of choice and attention to detail, certainly a recommended place, we will return with pleasure.
