04/11/2025: I met Ugo this morning by chance, because I wanted to surprise my girlfriend, and I have to say, he was truly exceptional! He made me a fantastic chocolate parfait cake, fulfilling my requests and adding his expertise and artistry. It's beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Ugo is a professional, kind, and passionate pastry chef: you can tell he loves his job and does it with great care. His workshop is spacious, clean, and well-stocked, and the display case is filled with many tempting, original cakes, pies, and sweet treats, including some very interesting reinterpretations of classics. Highly recommended if you want to be satisfied and make a great impression, both in terms of the aesthetics and the flavor of his desserts!

19/10/2025: Finding delicious, well-made gluten-free and lactose-free desserts isn't always easy, but at Pasticceria Ugo we found a real surprise: a wide selection of delicious products, meticulously crafted and available in a variety of flavors and textures. A great added bonus is Ugo, the owner: a professional, passionate, and very communicative pastry chef, who enthusiastically explained to us his specialty in making desserts for people with food intolerances. It's clear how much he loves his job and believes in it. I highly recommend this pastry shop to anyone looking for quality, inclusive products made with passion. Definitely worth a try!

13/09/2025: The place itself isn't anything extraordinary; there's plenty to eat and drink. We stopped there because it was on our route and a bathroom break was in order. In terms of food and atmosphere, nothing outstanding, but still good. However, in terms of service, there's just one area where it's slightly lacking: the friendliness. We probably came at a bad time, I wouldn't say.

26/08/2025: A very attractive bar with a stylish ambiance in the heart of Gallipoli. It was a bit surprising that no one was there late in the evening. The cocktail selection is diverse, delicious, and attractively served. The tastefully designed outdoor area, with its numerous plants and pleasant atmosphere, is particularly noteworthy. The service was a minor drawback: The staff seemed a bit uncoordinated and at times seemed more preoccupied with their smartphones than with the guests. While this didn't significantly detract from the overall impression, more attentive service would have significantly enhanced the experience. Overall, however, a highly recommended place for stylish drinks in a beautiful setting.

03/12/2025: Excellent restaurant in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The specialty is risotto, but the appetizers are also worth trying.

24/11/2025: A small restaurant run with passion and professionalism by Chef Maurizio and his family, the kitchen is open and the ingredients are extremely fresh. Their specialty is risottos, we tried the one with Franciacorta and red prawns, which was delicious, but the appetizers are also excellent.

28/10/2025: A fantastic time!!! What am I saying!!! Three fantastic times in this little bar in Gallipoli. A simple but truly wonderful experience. Don't hesitate any longer and stop by for a drink. We loved it.

05/12/2025: A must-visit if you're in Salento. The atmosphere is informal, the service is good, but the food is excellent, whether it's raw, fried, or grilled. Great prices, I come back every year. It's even worth the 40-minute drive just for Capitan Morgan.

31/10/2025: How can it be that plastic tableware is still being used these days? And in a restaurant, no less! We were appalled and thought it was a joke when the waiter brought us a bottle of water and two plastic cups. Then came the cutlery, also plastic, wrapped in plastic film 😳 And then the food, guess what? On plastic plates? What's going on? Too lazy to wash them? And all this with a direct view of the sea. One can only hope that none of it ends up in the ocean. The food was alright, but it would have been much nicer served on porcelain plates. The waiters could have smiled a bit more, and walking around the restaurant with their arms crossed doesn't exactly make a good impression.

30/09/2025: Beautiful beach, well-equipped and well-maintained, where you can have lunch or dinner with excellent dishes while enjoying a breathtaking view, with knowledgeable and friendly staff... I recommend it.

11/11/2025: A fantastic experience for San Martino! 💫 I went to this restaurant to celebrate San Martino, and I must say it was a truly special experience! The food is all typically Salento, prepared with genuine ingredients and with that authentic flavor that makes you feel at home. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was carefully prepared, rich and plentiful, a true celebration of flavors and tradition. The local wines were also excellent, perfect to accompany the dishes. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, always welcoming, kind, and attentive, and to Timo, the chef, whose skill brings the soul of Salento cuisine to the table. A warm and convivial place, ideal for an evening with friends or family. Highly recommended for those who want an authentic experience and enjoy true Salento cuisine, characterized by abundance, quality, and conviviality! 🍷🍇✨

05/11/2025: Last week, I went to dinner with some friends. It's hard for me to return to this place. The welcome was very pleasant and different from usual. The new autumn pizza was the best (cream of pumpkin, scamorza, and pancetta, delicate and crispy dough with red cabbage) along with the cabbage salad as an entree, really not bad. Once we were seated and chose our beverage (the wine selection is very respectable, even though I rarely toast anymore), the classic pittule to break the wait for the main courses: ravioli del plin with stew, fish in a salt crust, pecorino cheese with tomato sauce, seasonal vegetables cooked in every way. Dessert and coffee to finish. Everything was sooooo good. The bill was very fair. The staff was friendly. Thank you, and see you next time. PS: I'm not attaching photos of the dishes because my hands and cutlery were busy with the courses and, if necessary, sharing the dishes. 😋😋😋

08/10/2025: I always promise myself I'll try something new, but every time I give in to temptation and end up ordering the same dish: meatballs with snapped tomatoes. Ladies and gentlemen, I tell you: you can't get up and leave without experiencing the magnificent sensory and emotional journey that dish can offer. Because it's not just a smell, a flavor, a color. It's a treat that tastes like home... like grandma's!!! Have you figured out that I'll be back again, and again, and again?! 🥰

09/11/2025: A beautiful inn; I went there for a friend's birthday. We were served a variety of traditional Salento appetizers, from broad beans with chicory to eggplant rolls, sautéed mushrooms, and finally roast meat. Everything was truly delicious. We even danced, although the venue isn't huge, there was still plenty of space. The outdoor lights, where we later opened the cake, were beautiful!

02/11/2025: A very welcoming, family-friendly venue, meticulously curated down to the smallest details, in the historic center of Lecce. A place where you can breathe in the history of the place, upon entering you are immediately greeted by a highly respected wine cellar and by Francesco, who takes guests on a journey of flavors and aromas from another era, always remaining very contemporary. From here, it begins with Chef Aldo, who guides his guests through a range of traditional local dishes, dishes from other regions, and seafood, preserving the culture in both craftsmanship and raw materials. Highly recommended for all audiences.

Carefully crafted and creative seafood dishes, using top-quality ingredients. Impeccable service, discreet yet attentive. The wine list worthy of a high-end restaurant. A gourmet experience we recommend to anyone who seeks the best.
