The King In Monopoli

I wanted to share the wonderful experience I had at **The King**. From the start, the going was excellent: we had made a reservation and, to our great surprise, they were quick to accommodate us, which I greatly appreciated. As for the food, we were truly satisfied. We started with a truly fresh and tasty **octopus and shrimp salad**, but the highlight was the **Puccia Stendardo**: absolutely excellent, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Special praise goes to the staff: the service was not only courteous, but also **incredibly fast**. Even though the restaurant was busy, the dishes arrived in record time without ever sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a place to eat well, with punctual and fast service, The King is definitely a must. We'll definitely be back!

The name is misleading, because the food (we ordered three different pizzas) was very good. Lord, please let all "street food" in Poland be like this...

We ate dinner at this place two days in a row because it was so delicious. We tried the Pucce, a local Puglia sandwich made fresh with incredible ingredients. We tried the Pucce King, Barese, and Canone. The sandwich is huge and delicious. It's really worth it! The place was quite crowded. On the first day we managed to get a table outside, and on the second we got takeout. Make a reservation or order in advance; they deliver.

Excellent! A wide choice of pizzas and puccine, as well as panzerotti and other fried foods...all delicious at fair prices, with friendly staff. Kudos to the entire staff.

Small restaurant in the heart of Monopoli. Definitely try the panzerotti. The fish and chips were also delicious! I always enjoy being able to watch the kitchen at work! Great service!

Seriously good quality, tasty food. We shared three dishes; the tuna tartare, the King pizza, and the pirate salad. The portions were excellent and the ingredients fresh and well seasoned. The smoked swordfish on the pizza was so good!! Service was quick and friendly. Loved everything!!
