We had very good cocktails here today, a Negroni and an Americano. It was self-service at the counter in the early afternoon, the friendly, passionate bartender was great. We sat outside in the little square, lots of seating at simple tables.

We stopped for a coffee and loved it. It's a small bar with delicious coffee and a large, inviting terrace. Plus, the staff was very friendly.

In one of Locorotondo's most charming and quiet squares, Controtendenza is a small place with plenty of outdoor seating. It offers a wide selection of spirits, good beers, and excellent aperitif drinks. Special mention: the spectacular donut to finish.

18/04/2026: I feel at home here... exceptional wine, varied and perfectly balanced food (not too heavy or too light), an extremely charming atmosphere. And the sea view is priceless. I come back often!

22/05/2026: It's best to make a reservation because even on Thursday evening this place was completely full. For starters, 2 types of Bruschetta which were tasty. Then the spaghetti all'assassina which was also well prepared but not to my taste. Friendly service.
12/05/2026: The experience exceeded our expectations! The chips were excellent, perfectly fried and incredibly light. We also tried a tasty slice of meat and an excellent pizza. Service was quick despite it being a Saturday night; the staff was friendly and very professional. We'll definitely be back to try the pasta and appetizers!
