25/01/2026: I ordered a cake on Friday morning, clearly explaining what I wanted, particularly emphasizing that it be richly decorated. Upon delivery, I asked to see it, and unfortunately, I was faced with a cake decorated only with three jelly beans and three raspberries, very different from what I had agreed upon. I should point out that I would have had no problem paying more to get a cake that met my expectations. I contacted the owner to explain what had happened, and he offered to fix the decorations, which I accepted, having no other option. Upon collection, however, I didn't even receive an apology for the inconvenience. Overall, I was very disappointed, because the cake didn't fully reflect what I had requested, and I expected greater customer service.

16/01/2026: A small, pleasant place with good quality products and a wide variety of sweet and savory treats. Friendly staff, moderately high prices.

25/05/2026: The place is a bit small but it's run by one person which gives it a vintage feel. I highly recommend eating warm croissants in the evening, but I don't recommend eating ice cream.

24/04/2026: We were looking for a place to grab a bite near the airport. A great spot, just the kind we love in Italy. With a lovely, very pleasant terrace. We found it here; there's a wide variety of choices.

14/07/2026: I was once again blown away by the preparation and meticulous attention to detail of all the products they served. As soon as we arrived, they seated us outside: a very elegant and modern location for those who want to enjoy high-quality food. The staff was very friendly and kind, accommodating our every request. The pizzas were delicious and, above all, generous with toppings, but thanks to the super-digestible dough, we didn't feel heavy at all. I highly recommend going there to enjoy so many delicacies. I'll be back soon!

31/05/2026: The pomodoro was excellent, a classic dish. As for the tiramisu, with a touch of coffee and chocolate added, it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria, excellent pizza and food in general. The 4-flavor pizza by the meter is a must-try. "Excellent," it's enough for at least 5 people. The girls and staff are friendly and helpful. My only small issue is parking; you have to be lucky to find one nearby, otherwise you can find it by driving around a bit. Well done!

08/07/2026: If you're looking for a place to soak up the authentic atmosphere of Monopoli, "Vini e Panini" is a must-see. Don't expect the usual touristy spot: here, the quality of the ingredients speaks for itself. Yesterday I had the swordfish frisa, topped with the freshest cherry tomatoes, a poetic extra virgin olive oil, and incredible "poverella" zucchini... but you can also choose from a selection of sandwiches made with excellent local ingredients. Not to mention the platters of Apulian cured meats and cheeses... The wine selection is carefully curated and perfect to accompany the meal: the staff, especially the great Gianni, knows how to recommend the right wine (often local) to enhance every bite. For children... sandwiches are also custom-made! In short... PERFECT!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, ideal for a quick but tasty lunch or an evening aperitif in the heart of the historic center. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the freshness of the ingredients. Highly recommended for those who want good, simple, and authentic food. We go at least once a week.

06/11/2025: The atmosphere is certainly original and well-maintained, both inside and out. The food is excellent and the cocktails are sophisticated and high-quality. Unfortunately, however, we've often encountered waiters who are a bit arrogant and unwilling to accommodate customers' needs.

27/06/2026: We had pizza at this historic restaurant in Castellana Grotte, and it's always a pleasure to go there. Everything was very good.

07/06/2026: Evening with friends, nice table, but... Requested pizza with lactose-free mozzarella. When the pizza arrives at the table, the waiter asks, "Who's the lactose-free pizza for?"... Lactose-free, I say.... "Yes, yes, lactose-free," he corrects himself.... In short, I was sick all night and the next day.... I don't know if it was a mistake or if they simply didn't have lactose-free mozzarella and they used regular mozzarella.... But you don't joke about these requests.... If I had been allergic, I would have ended up in the hospital at worst. They could have said so, and I would have ordered something else if they didn't have lactose-free mozzarella. As the news tells us, these superficialities sometimes cost the customer and the restaurant owner dearly. Get informed and educated.

14/07/2026: The location is undeniably beautiful, right by the water with a lovely view. However, it’s also one of the most photographed spots in Polignano a Mare, so expect a constant stream of people taking pictures. During our visit, there was also a large stage next to the restaurant with an ongoing sound check, which made the atmosphere far from peaceful or romantic. The restaurant requires each guest to order at least two courses. We both chose the lobster pasta as a starter. It was good, but there was very little actual lobster. It tasted as though it had been made with a lobster bisque or stock rather than containing much lobster meat, which was disappointing. For our main courses, we both ordered fish. It was well-cooked, beautifully presented, and flavorful, but the portion was surprisingly small. What lowered the experience the most was the service. The staff didn’t feel particularly warm or welcoming, and we often felt more like an inconvenience than valued guests. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated at one of the least desirable tables, directly facing the noisy stage. We had to ask if we could move ourselves, which felt strange given that we had reserved ahead of time. One detail also felt a bit artificial. The restaurant offers men the option to surprise their partners with flowers, which sounds like a lovely idea. However, when several couples arrive at the same time, are seated next to each other, and every woman receives the exact same flower, it loses its charm and starts to feel more staged than romantic .. Overall, the food and wine were enjoyable, but the atmosphere lacked authenticity. Rather than feeling like an intimate Italian dining experience, it felt more focused on appearances. If you’re looking for genuine romance and local charm, this probably isn’t the place. The wine, however, was excellent.
